First The Prologue

Kruuuuu! Kruuuuu!”

“Hey don’t worry, your mother and you are not gonna separate anymore.”

“Kuwooooo!”

“Yes, here is your baby boy.”

As I handed the baby animal, his mother ran to him.

“Don’t get separated and always watch for the carnivore, if fate is real, we will meet again someday, even though I don’t know if you can understand me.”

“Kuwoooooo~”

Saying goodbye even though our language is different, I resume my work in the marsh. This place is huge like a huge one and every animal here is gathering, like they are drawn on this place specifically. Then about 3 days ago since I was here, I noticed that the water level is decreasing, just like the water. The animals also leaving and go to their respective places. But the good news is I already completed the task because I didn’t sleep nor eat. Now I just need to wait like a day or two, just to see if the water is getting lower or is this a natural occurrence here.

2 days later, the water in the marsh completely vanished as if there was no water in this area. Then I trace where the water is coming from and then I see that the marsh is connected to the river nearby, but the shocking thing here is that the water hasn’t moved at all. I don’t know what kind of phenomena is this and even my things I carried have no mention of this kind of thing. Also I see something below the river but I will not pay that in mind for now.

I stayed here in a former marsh for the past few days and I witnessed how the small grass turned into big one and after that one specific animal is feasting here and nothing else but the water cow. The water cows are the only species who only eat grasses in dry land like this. They typically see in nearby bodies of water and the confusing part of this is that they don’t prefer to eat grasses with water. Another fact is that they don’t have natural predators, even the snakes here can’t swallow a juvenile water cow. But the book mentions that its defense mechanism is their powerful aura. When a potential predator tries to kill a water cow, they will release a powerful aura which can strengthen their physical and even the juvenile one can release an aura. This makes water cows a threat to the environment. But the good part is that it takes them literally a long time before they can eat again but if there are no grasses, they will jump and eat leaves. Lastly, in their mature stage, they will roam to the other place where the nutrients are dire and will die in that place. Making the place to flourish again and introducing the food chain/web in that place making it more livelier.

“Damn, talk about the equivalent of cultivators in this land!”

I head again to the river, at the entrance where the water stuck, I see a cave like hole in there and when I thoroughly examine it, I see some civilization shit you will find in the past, I’m thinking if I should to explore it or not, eventually the cat in my head is curious so, I just go with the flow and start to swim there. The current at the bottom is so strong like, abnormally strong but because I’m strong as well, it was a piece of cake. When I arrived at the place, it glowed and it showed some text.

“Eh?! How am I supposed to read this?! Should I just open this place by force?”

When I was in front of the big door, I’m conflicted if I will destroy this door or just try to open normally, at the back of this door I just scan that it have chest and an item like a brush. Though I should turn off my detection, because it kills the mood of excitement. Then because I’m not a barbaric person yet, I pushed the door and surprisingly the door is not hard to push and I arrived at the middle where the chest is. After opening it, the brush is inside of it.

“Brush huh? Who person left a brush here? I don’t sense anything from it, just like a normal brush. I guess I should keep it. By the way, is this the hidden item I should find?”

Then before going out, a map appeared on my face. When I looked at it, it had many signals as if indicating the items just like here.

“Waow! So the previous owner of ruins here wants me to collect items? Well I can at least do this after all, the map I have doesn’t indicate this place. It means I collect it?”

I was about to leave and suddenly I heard a voice.

“Thank you young lady.”

I see a handsome man bowing to me and then disappear.

“Ayo! Is that a ghost or the last energy of that person?! So cool!”

After that I swim up and back to the surface again, then I intend to follow the river because I see multiple life forms at the bottom and because I can, I investigate it and collect.

Many hours passed since I was collecting at the river and the land. The map rings, indicating there is another place here to rest. When I arrive, the rest house is on the underground and I open it by force because I can. Then multiple traps have been activated, because this is a tight space and my goal is to reach that bottom, I free fall, to make it fast. The alarm went silent after I landed, checking the place and it was neat! The equipment here is much more modern than the last hut. 5 rooms and a comfy bed, it has a camera around, and the fridge is full of food. I think my masters are really spoiling me.

I cooked the meat inside, some of this is meat from this place and other is just normal meat like cow and goat. Searing them in a pan and after that finishing them in the oven is the optimal way to achieve good meat! Then I made some tomato based dishes with the goat, I also cooked the rice here. After all is done I devour them all and for my dessert I eat some native fruits here I go to the camera room to see if animals here are roaming. Then around 1 hour, I spotted animals running and it seems they were playing, the second one was just passing, the third one was pooping.

As I continue watching, I realize that most of the animals I see are herbivores. Then a couple hours, still I don’t see any carnivore animals here. As I begin to get sleepy (not really), I sense something big and have a killer aura. I cast clairvoyance magic to see that species, but all I can see is that it was covered in blood and it’s walking on two feet and it also has some kind of weapon. Then the face of it is like a fish!

“Woah! A real fucking Merman! or is it?”

I quickly grab my things and go out to confirm what species of this. Upon arriving, we got eye to eye contact and then the book of animals rang. But this one is not interested to me so it goes the other way. I read the book and it says that the one I encountered is a Marmen, a species of fish that has evolved over many years. A young Marmen height is usually around 6ft tall but when they become adults it will double their size. They don’t have genitalia unlike the animals here but they’re capable of reproducing by themselves but the downside of it. After they give birth to 3 Marmen, they will die. They don’t have society and just swim to the depths of the ocean. They’re the second strongest here after the guardian. The Marmen also act as arm and legs of the guardian to do it things like a loyal men. Their weakness is wind spells because of how sensitive they’re when on land. Immune to fire and resistance to the other magic. Using high level swordsmanship or other high level martial arts without a mana or ki, can kill an Adult Merman. Their second weakness is the Guardian, because they will only follow the guardian and nothing more. Their favorite food is seaweed and other marine aquatic plants.

“What a bizarre species! Also what is the guardian? I only know that they're stronger than the demons.. Anyway, I should pack my things and continue! because the night is too young!”

I don’t really intend to work tonight and just laze around, I feel like my body has become more workaholic. Nonetheless I took my things and embarked to the other places.

I finished the 2 places before the sunrise and next to me is the mountain. The map rings and it shows the next resting place and this time it shows the mini boss and its title, “King of the Mountain.”

“Hmm.. the next is the mountain huh? Also why is this creature the King of the Mountain? It’s so Kyut!.”

At the base of the mountain, I encounter different types of floral flowers. Many of them are highly edible, also the bees here are big as fuck! Though they’re not hostile to the other animals or in general. According to the book, they don’t have natural predators because their body can withstand any pressure and can’t be chopped easily. Resistant also in other magic, their ranking in the mountain is 2nd. But if successfully provoked they will inject you with a toxin that can paralyze you for an entire week, resulting in your body deteriorating and death. Their honey is so pure that it can make you more full and healthy in just one scoop. They don’t have calories which is good for those who are dieting.

“What the fuck! This is a superfood! Basically a cheat food!”

I traced them where they transport their whole collected nectar. It's so deep in the mountain no wonder. Then at the waterfalls there is a hidden cave, I followed them and when I arrived at the end of the cave. I see a massive beehive and it’s like a crystal, shining without sunlight. Then I read the book again on how to get their honey.

Step 1: Gather the 3 flowers: Sun-sun, Teras, Comoss. As many as you can.

Step 2: Make a big heart-shape using the 3 flowers.

Step 3: Sing a song you like, bonus if you have an instrument.

Step 4. Let the bees go to the heart-shaped flowers. While you are singing.

Step 5: Wait for the queen to go out, and when the queen goes to you and pat your head, it means you are granted to collect honey in your lifetime.

Step 6: Gather honey using your hand and place it in your preferred container, it can be sticky but the bacteria and germs in your hand will help the hive to be more resistant to disease.

Step 7: Enjoy the honey to your heart content.

Bonus Step: Gather honey every 3 months and repeat the steps, this will make your honey more delicious because the bees will make another hive just for you. There is a chance that they will deliver the product (low chance).

“It seems easy? Aight, I’m gonna start to collect the flowers at the base of the mountain. I’m excited to taste the liquid GOLD!”

I ran fast for literally seconds, then I got my book of plants to see the flowers if what I collected was right. Then I collected a handful of 3 different flowers and only that. I feel like it will be not good if I hoard all of the flowers here just to get the honey. Then I go back again and I make a big heart-shape, and then I carefully recall what songs I really liked and then I choose the BLT, because of how catchy that song is! Then I started to sing to my heart, it was kind of awkward because I’m not used to singing. While I’m singing, the bees go to the big heart-shaped I made, just like in the book. After my song finished, I waited for the queen to go out but it’s been like 3 hours since I finished my song. Then at the 4 hour mark, the queen goes out and circles around me for a while, then it pat my head and squishing my face as if I’m a mochi. Then all of the sudden the bees escort me to their hive, while the others collect the flowers I get and move it inside of the hive. I carefully extracted the honey and it was sticky but not that sticky but also incredibly smooth. I also prepared two liters of jar to put in my collected honey.

I lick my hands to taste test the honey..

“My god! The taste is so immaculate! As if it was crafted by the universe! The honey is so addicting! Also the sweetness doesn’t make me sick. I can take this forever literally!”

Then I packed my things and bid farewell to the hive, now I will go back to the base of the mountain to collect more species of living beings, before I go to the resting place.

Many hours later, I’m 70% done and it was noon so I can just chill first before I work again, I calculate my time leisurely and working and I have more time after I complete it. I sat near the waterfalls here and surprisingly this mountain has 5 waterfalls here. The water is cold and it feels really good as if it has a healing effect, the sound of water falling, the birds humming, the tree leaves rustling. Nature putting my mind at ease..

“This is life..”

After 1 hour of relaxing with nature, I continue my work. In this mountain I realized that it has a ranking here but surprisingly the top living beings here are all herbivores, there is small size of carnivore here unlike in the lowland. But all the balance is still there. Many animals and plants here can be considered as mini bosses here. Even that one parasite here, which will force itself in the hole of the host and feed to its blood, until it satisfies and leaves forcibly in another hole of its host. Talk about a gruesome and traumatic experience, but this parasite here is considered a low class or not a threat to the other beings, I think animals here evolve and counter this?

Anyway, I’m now reaching the summit of this mountain, and I detect multiple small living beings here, I guess I’m in the territory of the mini bosses. Arriving at the top of the mountain, it has a big area of water like a lake and the depth of it is so deep! Then I see the resting place in the middle of it with a small mini forest. Before I go to the house I reveal my presence to the mini boss here. After that many small beings are showing up and then 1 who is in front of me, who I suspected is the mini boss of the mountain or I call the King of the Mountain.

The book rings and it gives me a quest.

[Make them Love You!]

The species of Kapi-kapi is a strong species who adapted to the harshness of the mountain, this herbivore species only recognizes an ally if you show them no hostility and how strong you are. By making yourself a strong ally with them will guarantee victory in every battle you take. Their favorite food is the grasses here at the summit. Now it is up to you how you will flex your powers to them. Now Make them Love You!

“Wow, this quest is so helpful! I guess I need to collect the grasses here first! Wait a minute you kyut little beings! I will definitely triumph on this quest!”

I gathered as quickly as possible and then I gave them one by one of this grass equally. But the next part is difficult, I keep thinking how to flex my powers to them, to show I’m not an enemy..

“Wait! I can do that!”

“I began to release my power though only small amount of it and then the kapi-kapi began to focus on me, little by little I releasing my power and then I grab the one in front of me carefully and began to kiss it and cuddle! I even jump high on how kyut are this! After that, when I’m finished, this little beings began to jump on me and giving me also a kiss and the one I grab began to scream, signaling the book that I successfully complete my mission! After that, a path has been formed leading to the resting place. Me and the kapi-kapi head there and I began to relax again with the kyutie pies! Marking my end of my work great today!

“What a splendid way to end my work today! Am I right?”

‘Eeeee!”

“Should I toast the grass I give to you guys?”

“Eeeee!”

“You guys are really adorable! Let me kiss you again guys!”
