Fate: Hero of Justice Takeover

Chapter 294: [294] The Beast of Revelation, Draco

Even though the man's physique could hardly be called burly—in fact, he was somewhat lean—the girl could still nestle snugly in his arms like a small bird, a testament to her petite size.

…Definitely not something a certain foolish emperor could ever manage.

Faced with such a seductive pose from this loli, Sakatsuki deadpanned and bluntly delivered his verdict:

"You're too heavy. You're crushing me. Get off."

(Note: Under the Geocentric Model, Draco's height and weight are 135 cm and 100 kg respectively—35 kg for her body, 65 kg for her tail.)

Flat-chested and straight-backed, a tiny A-cup—how laughable.

Was Sakatsuki the kind of man to lust after such a body?!

Seemingly caught off guard by his reaction, the golden-haired girl stiffened, snorted coldly, and immediately tightened her beastly tail around his thigh, as if trying to crush it.

But sparks flew instantly, and a sharp pain made her delicate face twist in discomfort. Unbeknownst to her, Sakatsuki's leg was now coated in blood-red crystal, sharp as metal blades, nearly slicing through the scales of her tail!

This man—even at a time like this, he hadn't let his guard down?

"No, more like, it's hard to relax when faced with such clumsy acting, isn't it?"

Grabbing the sulking "Nero" by the scruff, Sakatsuki unceremoniously plopped her onto the other side of the bed. Rubbing his sore thigh—thanks to Newton's Third Law—he grumbled, "I just wanted to check on you, and suddenly you drag me onto the bed, then clumsily try to seduce me like some kind of deadweight…"

"Thou—thou shalt shut thy mouth!" The golden-haired girl fumed, hurling a pillow at him before yanking the blanket over herself like an ostrich burying its head, leaving only her pouting little face exposed. She looked sweet, harmless even.

But… "harmless"?

Sakatsuki narrowed his eyes, set the pillow back on the bed, and pulled up a chair to sit down.

"Now that we're here, shouldn't we properly introduce ourselves, guest who's been lurking in my shadow ever since Nameless sealed you away?"

"I am Sakatsuki, currently manifesting as a Pseudo-Servant under the Avenger class in this Second Singularity. The Heroic Spirit dwelling within me is Bai Qi, the renowned general of Great Qin."

The white-haired man candidly revealed his identity, then gestured toward the golden-haired girl with a sincere smile.

"And you are?"

"...Hmph." The girl who was once "Nero," now something else entirely, turned her head away as if unwilling to speak—yet her voice still drifted out, soft and eerie.

"We are Draco. The Beast of Sodom, Draco. Mmm… ah, yes. Our true identity is—Beast."

As she made this declaration, her head slowly turned back, her face splitting into a triumphant grin as she burst into laughter.

"Keh… kehahahaha! What a masterpiece! Bet you didn't expect this, did you? This is the bomb Nameless entrusted to you! How's that for an outrageous trump card?!"

Before Sakatsuki could respond, the bedroom door burst open with a BANG! The Servants who had been eavesdropping tumbled in like a spilled can of sardines, collapsing onto the floor one after another. Among them, a certain doctor's voice shrieked loud enough to shake the heavens.

"W-Wait, wait… what did you just say?! Beast?!"

Back in Chaldea, not only was the doctor shouting in shock, but even the self-proclaimed "Omniscient Genius" woman had appeared behind him at some point, her expression grave as she stared at the smirking Draco on the monitor.

"A colossal calamity that threatens our world of primates. Not one that seeks to destroy the planet, but to annihilate humanity itself—the incarnation of the end, destined to devour the civilization built by mankind—"

Behind the doctor, the staff erupted into panicked chatter, but he ignored them and continued:

"Born from civilization, it feasts upon civilization. It is the very cause of self-destruction, the factor of death!"

No one had the presence of mind to question how a mere Chaldean doctor knew such secrets. Fujimaru's pupils contracted violently as he stared in horror at the golden-haired girl on the bed, unable to reconcile her tiny frame with the world-devouring threat lurking within.

But the moment she made her declaration, Fujimaru felt it—an instinctive, primal dread rising from the depths of his being, like a surge of blood bubbling up from the earth, threatening to drown his rationality.

"This is… Beast (Evil of Humanity)…"

"Exactly, Fujimaru." Now that everyone had revealed themselves, Sakatsuki no longer bothered hiding the truth. He sighed.

"This is the reason I've deliberately kept my distance from you all along, Master of Chaldea."

"Human Evil, as the name suggests, represents the stains of humanity—the calamities that bring about mankind's ruin. The more humanity develops, the stronger they become. Like a cancer eating away at society from within, they are the sludge sedimented in human history."

Thwack!

Another pillow flew through the air, smacking Sakatsuki square in the face.

"Change thy descriptors. We dislike such unsavoury analogies." Draco pouted, displeased.

But this time, no one found her cute.

"Seven calamities born from humanity's bestial nature—that is what a Beast is." The doctor's voice was heavy with gravity. "Fujimaru, no matter what, we must eliminate this Beast within this Singularity. Once they mature, they will inevitably bring catastrophic destruction to humanity."

"By then, even if we restore Human Order, the world we save will already be doomed!"

Hearing this, Fujimaru immediately raised his right arm, ready to summon his Servants—only to find himself frozen in place.

"...Sakatsuki!"

"I did warn you, Fujimaru Ritsuka." The white-haired man raised a finger, binding the Servants—and Fujimaru—with his blood-red energy, his smile never faltering.

"If I am the leading man of this play, then she is the leading lady. This is a duel between her and me—a one-on-one battleground where outsiders have no right to interfere."

The one who had drawn him into this world was none other than the Beast of Revelation dwelling in his shadow—Draco.

This was her little challenge to Sakatsuki before his ascension to the seat of the moon. And Sakatsuki had accepted without hesitation.

Thus, there was no room for other would-be actors on this stage. They would simply take their pre-packaged "lunchboxes" and exit gracefully, leaving the audience to watch as this drama soared to new heights—or plummeted into ruin.

"How does it feel, having gorged yourself on the fall of the Roman Empire?" Ignoring the immobilized onlookers, Sakatsuki sat beside the savage Beast and smiled as he posed his question.

In response, she scoffed, as disdainful as ever.

"If thou speakest of a nation that could not even conquer the United Roman Empire, allowed Great Qin to rise, and was ultimately doomed to ruin… keh. It was hardly enough to whet Our appetite."

Uttering words Nero would never have spoken, Draco sneered. "Forcing Us to hastily consume half-baked prosperity and decay—was this not thy intention all along, thou cunning human?"

To the Beast's displeasure, the man merely smiled faintly and nodded politely.

"It seems I've taken the first move," he said.
