The sound of wolf paws crashing through the dark forest. On Ignoir's back, there was Reizel who was lying semi-conscious and right next to him, the black skull-headed figure that used to be Lana. Other than those two, there were only Jessica and Putri who were looking far ahead.

Putri watched the blonde girl's panicked expression and began to think that bad things might be waiting for them, she also began to realize what Aril might always think about daily. When she did selfish acts, Aril always came to make sure she would be safe.

The long black haired girl started to feel guilty about her actions but this was not the right time for that, she had to focus on Jessica who was shaking with fear.

"Jessica, I don't know what's going to happen later, but we're just going to pick up your uncle and get out of here," Putri said to which Jessica didn't respond at all.

It was as if those blue eyes were only focused on one thing ahead and ignored everything else.

"Ignoir, can you smell Johan's location?" Putri asked Ignoir.

"Of course I can, Miss Putri. It's just that I don't feel comfortable going to that place," Ignoir replied swiftly.

"What's wrong? Is there something dangerous?"

"It seems so, I feel an unnatural bloodlust. There are dangerous people waiting for us."

"It's okay, we'll only pick Johan up quickly and leave as soon as possible. Can you do it?"

"Of course, Miss Putri."

After a while of fast running, Ignoir arrived at a location with a terrifying-looking area.

Ignoir now decreased his speed and decided to walk.

On the left and right, many trees and grasses were burned. The further she walked, the worse the environment became.

She continued walking and now she saw some trees that were on fire, big fire. Putri swallowed her own saliva and Ignoir continued to walk vigilantly while paying attention to the surroundings.

They finally arrived at the location where Johan was, but they did not expect the destruction everywhere because when they arrived, the entire ground was destroyed and right in front of them, there was a large crater with the ground surface that had fused into glass.

Right in the center of the large crater, Johan was lying with a large hole in his left chest.

"Uncle!" Jessica immediately jumped down from Ignoir's back and approached Johan.

Her grief couldn't be contained anymore and tears were flowing freely. The girl ran with all her might and when she saw Johan's lifeless condition, Jessica froze.

Her heart seemed to stop for a moment and her knees went weak. She still couldn't believe what she had seen and rushed towards Johan.

She touched his face and no longer felt the warmth she always feeling for her whole life.

Jessica didn't want to accept the facts, but he was no longer breathing and all her fears were now real...

Johan was dead...

Jessica screamed hysterically and burst into tears. She hugged the corpse's and continued to cry.

"No! No! No! This is a lie! Uncle!" cried Jessica who continued to cry while shaking her head as if she denying reality.

"What a sad reunion," said Rama who suddenly appeared behind Jessica.

The blonde-haired girl reflexively turned around and saw the figure of Rama who had lost two arms, but that fact did not make Jessica feel confident, instead, she was afraid, very afraid.

Her heart was racing as she looked at Rama who was smiling like a psychopath.

The young man stepped closer and Jessica froze in fear.

*BHUK!

A kick to the face pushed Rama away. It was an attack from Putri who was now in a fighting stance.

"Jessica! Take Johan away!" she shouted loudly as if trying to cover up the fact that her whole body was shaking with fear.

Putri's shout startled Jessica, but it managed to take away the blonde girl's fear, even if only for a moment.

Jessica looked at Putri who was ready to fight and then looked at Johan's dead body. Her lips were pale and trembling, even her hands were shaking.

"Uncle Johan... Uncle Johan..." said Jessica, trying to catch her ragged breath.

"Jessica, hurry! We don't -"

A pair of glowing red eyes approached from the darkness, it was a kalomba that flew towards Putri.

*JRASH!

Black blood scattered in all directions. The kalomba was torn apart in the jaws of a humanoid wolf that stood on two legs.

The humanoid wolf monster was none other than Ignoir who was now chewing on the kalomba and swallowing it.

Black blood dripped out of her mouth and Ignoir immediately wiped the blood with her hairy and long-clawed hands.

"Miss Putri, this guy is dangerous," said Ignoir who did not take his eyes off Rama who was walking towards them.

Rama let out his breath. "What are you? A werewolf?"

"Run!" shouted Ignoir who immediately lunged forward and clawed at Rama.

Putri immediately rushed to help Jessica to stand up and lifted Johan's body. "We have to get out of here."

Jessica, who was still breathing heavily, could only follow Putri's decision. The blonde haired girl could no longer think clearly, she just followed Putri's words and ran away.

On the other hand, Ignoir continued to claw at Rama but the young man was so agile in dodging, even without both arms, Ignoir could feel how dangerous the young man was.

The demon wolf girl did not lower her guard, and continued to attack aggressively.

As Rama dodged Ignoir's claws, he glanced at Putri and Jessica who were running away carrying Johan's corpse.

Rama chuckled. "So, this was all planned from the start? That's amazing. Too bad, all those plans were useless."

A pair of glowing red dots appeared behind Rama. The moment Ignoir realized that the young man was glancing at Putri, all of Ignoir's hair stood up and felt a greater threat than she anticipated.

Ignoir launched a powerful attack that almost managed to slash Rama's neck, but the young man managed to dodge and only got a slight scratch on the neck.

But that was not what Ignoir was aiming for, immediately after launching the attack, Ignoir rushed straight to Putri.

Seeing the quick response, Rama grinned and a few kalomba that was behind him flew straight towards the Putri Immediately.

But before the kalomba touched the two girls, Ignoir pushed the Putri's head down with her right hand and a kalomba went straight through the wolf demon girl's hand.

The shocked and clueless Putri reflexively turned around and found Ignoir who had lost her right arm.

"Ignoir, your arm!" said the Putri who was now increasingly worried about their situation.

Rama smiled widely. "What's the rush? Didn't you guys just arrive?"

A dozen pairs of glowing red dots appeared from within the darkness, it was the eyes of the kalomba who were besieging from all directions and now Rama was running towards Ignoir with his eyes that had now turned bright red.
