Fairy Tail: The Strongest Fairy (Rewritten Version)

From the moment when Gray avoided the acid blood of the Assassin Spider, the sounds of someone clapping their hands were heard behind Gray, causing the young 15 year old teenager to look towards the strange dressed Dark Wizard, Lovely, who seems unaffected by Gray killing his tamed Monsters.

"I expect no less, from the strongest guild in Fiore. It is no wonder why Fairy Tail is famous, when someone so young, could defeat my babies like this."

When Lovely said that, with a carefree smile, this cause Gray to feel something is not right about this situation.

Didn't he just slayed his tamed Monsters?

And yet, it is odd why this Lovely guy seems to relaxed, a little too much relaxed, to the point it made Gray uncomfortable watching the Dark Wizard like this.

From Gray's understanding, Monster Tamers, mostly relies on their tamed or contracted Monsters or summons in battle, meaning themselves are not very strong.

Of course, there cases that the tamer also strong, but those cases are also rare.

Since most tamers will use other Magic systems that will aid and supports their tamed Monsters. But when Gray recalled this common knowledge of how Monster Tamers fight, his eyes widen, realising something very important.

Not once in this fight, did Lovely use any support Magic on the Monsters.

"You… not a Monster Tamer, aren't you? No, in a way you are, but it is the Magic that you use, that tames them… and since you knew who we are, meaning this was a trap for us in the beginning, I am right?" Gray askes with his sharp eyes, looking at Lovely who only smiled hearing him.

"You are right, I am not a Monster Tamer, but I am at the same time… or more like, one of my main Magic System is." When Lovely said that he blows a kiss, that sent a cold shiver down Gray's spine.

However, Gray's dark blue eyes widen in shock, when a love heart formed from that kiss made by Lovely, that shoot towards Gray!

Gray looked at the incoming love heart with a disbelief look, but easily avoided it, since it wasn't very fast to begin with.

"Don't go rejecting my heart, what a bad boy~" Lovely went, as Gray looked at the Dark Wizard, realising what Magic that was. Especially with the 'heart' hint by the Dark Wizard.

"You a Charm user… aren't you?" Gray went with serious look.

Charm Magic, it is the forbidden Magic system that has been issued as illegal as of last year by the Magic Council.

It is the kind of Magic that can hypnotizes others into a form of affection towards the caster.

Originally this type of Magic was meant to be used on Monsters, hypnotizing them into tameable Monsters.

However, Charm Magic that was originally meant to either tame, or aid in taming Monsters, can also be used on humans, and even other Wizards.

Because of this, many Wizards used Charm Magic in many questionable ways.

From making others loved them against their will, causing those that enslaved by Charm Magic to do crime without any will of their own.

And even those that uses Charm Magic to enslave their targets and sell them as actual slaves on the black market.

Due to this, Charm Magic has been labelled as a Forbidden Magic, a Magic system that is not allowed to be used by the Magic Council, who create the laws and rules that all Legal Wizards has to follow.

However, even if Gray is faced with such Magic, he also knew the weaknesses that Charm Magic carries.

And that weakness, if the target realised, they had been charmed, or knew it is Charm Magic they been hit with, the spell will undo itself.

Because of this, Gray knew, even if he were to be hit by that love heart spell, he wouldn't be affected by it. Since he knew what it is. Making that Magic completely useless.

"Bingo~~ Right you are. And don't look at me like that, handsome boy~ Before Charm users got banned, I only used Charm Magic on my little babies. Well, that was before I was banned from my former guild, due to being a Charm user.

As for the trap thing… it is true this is a trap, but it wasn't a trap meant for the two of you, or more like, it was a trap meant for anyone who come here." Lovely went.

"For anyone who come here…?"

Gray askes, as he realised, this whole thing wasn't because they are from Fairy Tail, no, in the first place, this Bandit Subjugate Mission was always one thing, a trap, a trap for any Wizard who will take this simple easy looking Bandit Subjugate Mission.

"Your targets… is anyone who picked that commission… meaning us. And if I am not wrong, even the damned requester of this Mission, is also either works for you, or with you, right?"

Gray bitten his lips, while he askes this, realising both him and Zack has fallen for this fake Mission's true intentions, a trap for anyone will come and complete this Mission.

"Bingo~~ You quite sharp, aren't you? That is right, that Mission of yours is a trap, a trap, to capture Wizards alive." Lovely told.

"Alive…?" Gray askes, as he got a bad feeling, especially when he saw that smirk on Lovely's face.

"Of course, you might not know of this, since Fiore bans slavery, and being a Legal Wizard and all… but just knew this, the price of a Wizard slave is many times more, then a beautiful young virgin."

When Lovely said that he removed his love heart glasses, showing his brown expressionless brown eyes, that looked at Gray, that sent a shiver down his spine. Because this is the first time, Gray is being looked like if he a mere tool, or product in this case, in those brown eyes looking at him.

"Why you telling me this?" Gray askes.

"Why you think so? Lovely is sorry to say, but there is no way you boys will be able to do anything here. Don't worry, with such handsome young boys, as well high potential Wizards at that, it wouldn't be long, for someone to become your Master." Lovely went, like he is just stating a fact, causing Gray to feel his rage boiling inside him.

"You think we will sit by, and let you do that!?" Gray went aloud, and almost about to rush and punched this madman in the face. But he soon halted in his steps, when a bad feeling washed over Gray, seeing Lovely begin to crazily laugh like a madman.

Soon this crazed laugher faded, and those brown eyes of this Dark Wizards, turned completely cold, and even the smile on his lip, faded as Lovely looked at Gray.

"The world is darker you think it is, handsome boy. This is not your fault, nor it is my fault either, it is just… a bad ending, a bad fateful encounter, if anything to blame, it will be one, the Magic Council ruining my life, and two… because you are weak, simply as that."

When Lovely said that he snapped his fingers for the second time, when he did, a horde of Spider Monsters rushed to Lovely side, causing Gray to froze in place, as he looked at dozens of Hopper Spiders and Rocky Spiders, along with 2 more Stone Spiders, and four more Assassin Spiders, all came out of the entrance of the abandoned mining cave.

The two Stone Spiders, that towered over both Gray and Lovely, came besides the Dark Wizard, standing guard.

While the four Assassin Spiders lurk between the other lesser ranked Spider Monsters, hiding themselves for the moment to strike.

Seeing all of this, Gray knew right away, never mind himself, but even if Zack were here, and the two of them were at maxed health and Magic Power, they still have no chance against a horde of monsters of this many and at this level.

In truth, this kind of horde before the young keen eyed teenager, is something not even a normal A-Class Wizard will dare to upfront, knowing they too wouldn't have any chance at winning against 6 B-Class Monsters, along with dozens of C and D-Class Monsters.

"No matter how you look at it boy, either you are the other boy are any match against my other babies? Enough chatting…. Didn't I tell you? It is time to punish a bad boy, for slaying my cuties."

From the moment when Lovely said that, within the countless eyes of the Spider Monsters, a pink hue shined, stating the control of Charm Magic, before they all, besides the Stone Spiders, rushed towards Gray!

Gray bitten his lips, facing a horde of Spider Monsters, that he knew he has no chance of winning. And little did he knew, this very mind set, will lose the effect of being empowered by Ethernano itself.

The phenomenon of being magical strengthen by powers like Magic Power, is actually a double edged sword.

That is because, as Ethernano can empowered someone, but being empowered meant going pass your limits, being given power and strength greater than yourself.

Which in result, when this powerup is lost, either by reaching your limits, or losing the effects of being empowered by Ethernano, by losing hope itself, will cause a backlash to happened to the Wizard that has been empowered by Ethernano itself.

(AN: I know many doesn't like the sudden powerups of friendships, but this is a thing in Fairy Tail, or how Ethernano responses with positive emotions via Magic Power. And this also applies by Curse Power that uses negative emotions to empowered itself.

Of course, having strength above your level, should returned with some kind of rebound effect, that is why Gray is weakened, when his willpower is shaken, or when his body also reached the limits, of being strengthened above his own level)

That is why, all of the sudden, Gray felt all the surge of power within him, faded like a lie, causing Gray to bite his lips very hard, causing them to bleed, to numb himself to keep awake, when tiredness overcame him.

Of course, this didn't went unnoticed by Lovely, who for the third time, snapped his fingers, causing all of the Monsters to halted themselves, when they about to reach Gray, who about to use the very little Magic Power to do anything, but halted himself, seeing the Spider Monsters halted for some reason.

"It seems you reaching the limits, handsome boy. Why not gave up, if you do, I may lessen the punishment, not to mention. No matter how powerful you are, handsome boy, you still outmatched." Lovely went, stating the obvious.

Nevertheless, even if that is true, the determination within those dark blue eyes, that can be mistaken as black eyes, didn't weaver once, showing why a Fairy Tail Wizard, is a Fairy Tail Wizard.

"Shut it… giving up… is the last thing I will do…" Gray went, causing the Dark Wizard to laugh, before he snapped his finger for the fourth time.

However, as Gray expected the Spider Monsters to attack him once again. The earth under Gray, arises up like a pillar, only to smashes into Gray's chin!

Being sent flying in the air, Gray who has been hit under his chin, felt like his mind threatening to go blank, but his willpower holds onto his conscious.

However, that didn't help him at all, when he clashes into the ground, and found himself unable to get up from the ground.

"Weren't you… a Charm user…?" Gray askes in a weak voice, as his dark blue eyes, that can be mistaken as black, turned towards the pillar of the earth, that sneaky attacked him just now.

"Oh mine, handsome boy, you don't always show your hand, when you play poker, do you? And didn't I say, Charm Magic is just one of my main Magics? Earth Magic is my main Magic, don't you know?" Lovely went, as he walked towards Gray who tried to get up from the ground, but failed to do so, as he falls back to the ground.

"Don't make it hard for yourself, you had long ago reached your limits, handsome boy." Lovely went, as he created a stone bullet, only to fire it right at Gray, finally knocking him out.
