The monster lashed at me its claws going right past my hair cutting off the ends as i ducked to the left and try to stab it with the fllaming stick stabbing it in the neck, the monster let out a blood curdling cry and lashed at me again almost slashing my right arm off.

Jumping back I dodged its next slash by ducking down and tried to counter getting hit by the kick it threw.

I got launched at the wall behind me. I can feel my lungs bleeding a rib might have cracked as i let out a cough.

"Keugh… you fucking monster" I wiped my mouth and barely got back on my feet fortunately the flame on the wooden stick didn't go out on me.

As i looked at my character profile hoping for a miracle of sort, in my last life it was hidden F skill i was hoping it would display something other than hidden F skil.

Before i could see it all the monster launched at me again in the narrow street I could do nothing but stick the flaming stick to the front.

Not exactly useful right now but, that F grade skill is now SSS grade? Thats surprising.

"In anycase if something goes wrong I can kill myself and revive again…. But I really don't wanna die it feels horrible." I thought as i picked up a near by garbage can and lit it up, throwing the blazing trash can at the monster i quickly rushed out of the street as it hit the monster.

There was no way for me to kill grade 4 alone right now.

I ran down the street trying my best to get away from the monster, a voice was heard and a figure of a woman grabbed my arm and pulled me into a corner.

I let out a surprised yelp as I was pinned to the wall, the monster went right past us as she had her hand on my mouth.

The figure standing front of me was a woman who seemed to be in her early 20s around 5'6 in a casual outfit… casual as it can get it during an apocalypse that is.

She had dark black eyes along with long hair with black hair.

"Um…sorry about that and thanks for…earlier."

Seriously. Was it that hard to say a proper thank you for her?

"No that's okay, anyways I assume your alone since…" I pointed at the butchered corpse laying on the groun on the right of us.

"I am alone bur, I don't know who he is… he tried to…. "Force" me when a monster came and attacked him."

things like that weren't exactly rare in a world without law and order. But still i hated it even as i heard it I can feel the veins in my body a flick away from bursting with anger.

I let out a deep breath to calm myself and said.

"You should stick with me, afterall neither of us have a party."

Her eyes lit up as if she was hoping I would say that.

"Sure, It's not exactly safe to go alone in this… whatever the hell is happening right now…I guess apocalypse?"

Apocalypse actually described it pretty well… im not sure how reality turned into this but apocalypse is a pretty good description.

"Yeah, apocalypse it is..* we stayed silent for a moment in the alley before I broke the silence with.

"Also im going to go kill my ex, you in?"

She looked at me surprised and her mouth agape for a moment.

"I get that she hurt you but…isn't killing her a bit execessive?"

"Oh, I mean if i don't she along with the guy she will cheat on me with, they will kill me."

"Whatchu mean by 'will'? You mean you think they will? Without a solid proof or anything?"

It was obviously sketchy, i mean just because of a guess killing someone sounds crazy.

"No you see… in this new reality there are these artifacts you could use to glimpse into the future and i happened to find one thats one time use while running here."

That was obviously a lie. I didn't want to tell her im a regressor, or atleast not right now.

She looked at me skeptically and let out a sigh.

She scartched her head as if conflicted then with a yelp she exclaimed

"Oh.. well" she fixed her throat then spoke.

"My name is Choi Sooyoung" she extended her hand towards me for a handshake.

I gave her a hand shake as i spoke.
