The year is 2050. The world stands united on the foundations of peace and harmony, with

only nine nations remaining across the globe. Technology has advanced beyond imagination,

and each nation boasts its own unique specialisation. Among them, Neo-Kyoto reigns

supreme—an unparalleled powerhouse in innovation, culture, and development.

The world is home to countless professions: tech researchers, environmental specialists,

quantum software developers, and more. Yet, none are as revered—or as dangerous—as that

of the assassin. Since their rise to prominence in 2030, assassins have been instrumental in

eliminating evil, wielding specialised technology developed by a select few professors

dedicated to their craft.

Each of the nine nations is led by an Urban Nexus Director (UNC), leaders chosen to fulfill

the will of the people. To protect them, the nations formed a covert organisation known as

the Surge Resonance Collective (SRC). Their mission: to safeguard the world from threats

and shadows lurking in the dark.

In the bustling streets of Neo-Kyoto, a 14-year-old boy named Senjuro Kaine dreams of

joining the ranks of the SRC. But life's harsh realities hold him back, his circumstances

chaining him to the ground while his heart soars for something greater.

One stormy night, as thunder cracked through the sky and rain drenched the neon-lit streets,

Senjuro found himself sitting alone in a dark alleyway, lost in thoughts of his unreachable

goal. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows—Valan Krynn, one of the world's most

legendary assassins. But before Senjuro could react, Valan was ambushed by three assassins

from the notorious Segrito organization.

Though Valan defeated his attackers, he suffered grave injuries and collapsed, teetering on the

edge of death. Without hesitation, Senjuro rushed to his side, dragging the wounded assassin

back to his small home. As Valan lay there, breathing heavily, he turned his gaze to the boy

and whispered, "Young one… I see a great assassin within you."

Senjuro, eyes wide, replied, "But how? I don't even know how to begin, even though it's my

dream."

With a faint chuckle, Valan reached for his energy core, known as Envic, and pressed it

against Senjuro's solar plexus. A surge of energy coursed through Senjuro's body as he fell

unconscious.

Hours later, Senjuro awoke to a voice echoing in his mind: "Become an assassin… and

continue my legacy."

At that moment, Senjuro made his decision. No matter the cost, no matter the obstacles—he

would become an assassin and carry forth Valan Krynn's legacy.
