Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 839 College

Lois bit her lip. She knew Laura well enough to realize that a vague warning wouldn't cut it.

"Because Ross is not who you think he is. He's dangerous. Last night—"

She hesitated for only a second before forcing the words out.

She told Laura everything: the unexpected knock at midnight, the smug smile, the way his eyes roamed her body without shame.

She repeated his crude words, his twisted threat about finding a 'replacement' in Laura, and the venom in his voice when he said she would be calling him brother-in-law.

When Lois finally stopped, the silence on the other end was heavier than she expected.

"I see," Laura said at last, her tone unreadable.

"Laura, I'm serious—don't meet him." Lois's voice cracked, fear bleeding through.

Her sister gave a small, almost dismissive laugh.

"Thanks for the warning, but no thanks, sister. I can take care of myself. If Ross really is the kind of man you say he is, I'll handle it. And if he's dumb enough to try to get into my pants, as you so delicately put it, I'll make sure he regrets it. I'm a grown woman, Lois—I can decide for myself."

"Laura—please, you don't understand—"

But before she could finish, the line went dead.

Lois sat there, frozen, the phone still pressed to her ear.

Her apartment felt colder, emptier. She stared at the floor, her thoughts spiraling.

Laura thought she could handle herself. Laura thought she was safe.

But Lois knew better.

She knew exactly what Ross Oakley was capable of—and she had the sinking, nauseating feeling that her sister was already in far more danger than she realized.

This pushed Lois to take drastic action.

She didn't have the luxury of time to plan—every passing hour felt like Ross was one step closer to her sister.

She didn't have Ross' number so she could only improvise.

Her heels clicked against the polished floor as she walked into her former workplace, the familiar air of expensive cologne and coffee instantly reminding her of her old routine.

But today was different. Today, she wasn't an employee—she was a woman desperate to protect her family.

And there he was.

Ross Oakley sat in the lobby's VIP lounge, legs casually crossed, sipping tea as though the world revolved around him.

His gaze lifted the moment she entered, and his lips curled into that slow, infuriating smile.

It was the smile of a man who not only expected her… but had been counting the seconds until she appeared.

"What a surprise," Ross said, placing his cup down with elegant precision.

He looked as if he really knew she would come to him today.

"I was expecting you to come, Miss Johnson. Please—join me in my office. We have much to discuss."

His voice was warm, inviting even, but there was a dangerous glint in his eyes—like a predator inviting prey into the shadows.

Without waiting for her answer, he rose and walked toward his office.

Every step was confident, unhurried, as though her arrival had been part of his plan from the start.

Lois's stomach twisted, but she followed.

The heavy mahogany door closed behind them with a muted thud, sealing the two of them inside.

The faint scent of leather and his cologne filled the air, making it feel suffocating.

"What do you want?" Lois asked sharply, staying on her feet.

Her arms were crossed, her shoulders squared, but her pulse was racing.

Ross leaned back in his chair, studying her with leisurely interest, his fingers steepled together.

"I want you," he said simply, his tone dripping with certainty. "I want to fuck you, Lois… and make you come over and over again until you forget your boyfriend and everything that you did together."

Her nails dug into her own arms. "You're disgusting."

He chuckled, as if her insult amused him rather than wounded him.

"One night," she said finally, her voice trembling despite her best efforts.

"That's all I can give you. But after that—you promise me you'll leave me and my sister alone. Forever."

Ross tilted his head, pretending to consider her words, but his smile was slow and knowing.

"One night…" He rose from his chair and stepped closer, until the space between them was charged with heat.

"Do you really think one night will be enough for me, Lois?"

"I mean it, Ross," she said, tears threatening to spill. "You stay away from her. She doesn't deserve—"

"—to meet me?" he interrupted, smirking. "Or to feel what I can give her?"

Her breath caught in her throat.

He was enjoying this—twisting her desperation into a game he controlled completely.

Ross's voice dropped lower, almost a whisper. "You're offering yourself to save her. Noble. Foolish… but noble. I'll accept your terms. For now."

Lois hated how much that last part scared her.

"Or not," Ross added after a pause, his eyes dropping deliberately to Lois's hands.

He tilted his head slightly, his gaze lingering. "Is that… a purity ring you're wearing?" His voice dripped with amusement, like he'd just stumbled upon an inside joke.

"Ahhh… I wouldn't want to ruin you for your precious boyfriend."

Lois stiffened, curling her fingers slightly as if to hide the ring, but Ross noticed every movement.

"I guess fate's already decided for us," he went on, leaning back in his chair.

"You and I can't be together. Which means…" His eyes sharpened. "…I'll just have to focus all my attention on your sister. Laura."

Her heart skipped. "No—you can have me. Just leave my sister alone."

Ross's smile deepened, but there was no warmth in it.

"You're going to have to be more convincing than that, Lois."

She froze. "What do you mean?"

Instead of answering, he sat back down on his chair and pushed it back slowly.

The quiet roll of the wheels on the carpet seemed to stretch out for far too long.

Then he spread his legs, an unspoken invitation hanging in the charged silence.
