So that's what's happening! Though she couldn't tell who the attackers were, any force that could launch such a huge military attack must be pretty powerful.

It's easy to imagine that New Parristol, this new power floating high in the sky, was too eye-catching. To some countries it was like a sword hanging over their heads. It's not surprising they would try to take it down or take it over when they got the chance.
