Chapter 352: Selsa Kingdom's Royal Capital on Blue Star (1)
Ye Nai listened from the side to their calls and knew she hadn't mistaken them.
The six older ones were indeed the Witch Saints.
Not long after, the wizards who were crying around the Witch Saints all turned and knelt at Ye Nai's feet.
"Respected Great Witch, please have mercy, don't torment those six Witch Saints, they are treasures of the whole world."
"My food isn't picked up for free, I don't keep idle people, my prisoners have to work to earn their meals."
"We will share their work every day, just please don't make them labor."
"They are Witch Saints, Great Witch, if you want to build your power system, keeping the Witch Saints will be of great use to you, it won't be a disadvantage."
"Alright, seeing you plead like this, the work of those six people will be divided among you. Fro, have you noted it down?"
"I've noted it down, Great Witch, I will arrange it properly."
"Good, thank you for your efforts, don't be afraid of these new wizards disobeying, they've all been restrained like the old ones, using power causes severe pain throughout their body."
Fro nodded repeatedly.
The "old ones" on the side shuddered at these words, unwilling to remember the pain they had once endured.
After Ye Nai finished instructing, she indeed became a hands-off manager and instantly teleported away.
Fro sighed, knowing today's reclamation task was impossible to complete, and instructed his men to first settle the newcomers.
With about a thousand newcomers arriving, Fro was overwhelmed and knew he couldn't control them, so he used the now-familiar wizard prisoners as well.
Everyone was restrained, so when they spoke, the newcomers should listen.
Ye Nai, after having her fill, made a trip to Wizard City, returned from work, and calculated that only a minute had passed.
She energetically opened the transmission port leading to the Royal Palace of Blue Star's Selsa Kingdom.
On the other side, there was no movement at all.
Ye Nai, holding a gun, grinned broadly and cautiously stepped inside.
In the blink of an eye, she stood in a spacious underground space lit by ever-burning torches.
Much larger than a basement, big enough to play soccer inside.
Just a bit cold.
Ye Nai shivered and put on the windbreaker she just took off.
By the light of the torch, she quickly found the fallen enemy soldiers around her, and feeling their thick winter clothing, she understood.
On Blue Star, June is winter in some places, it must be another hemisphere.
Looking around, in the expansive basement, there were only five transmission platforms, clearly used for transporting people and supplies.
The spore map surfaced in her mind, the entire Royal Palace had been knocked out by spores.
What was there to hesitate about?
Take them! Ransack!
The five transmission platforms in the underground space disappeared immediately.
Ye Nai let the Space Fungus devour the one she just came through, the remaining four were left aside for now until she figured out their respective destinations.
The space crackled as people were brought in, including the enemy soldiers standing guard here.
Ye Nai, by the light of the torch, found the stairs leading up, opened the door, and stood in a bright corridor.
Outside the corridor was a hard road surface suitable for horses and carriages.
Snow covered the ground.
The playground had been cleared, but the snow was only piled around, not removed.
Ye Nai hung a sports camera on herself.
Looking around once more, she found this playground wasn't the main square of the Royal Palace, the spores directed Ye Nai on a route out of the palace, where the true grand square before the Royal Palace was located.
Judging by the map, the palace wasn't small, and she was too lazy to walk, so she took out an electric scooter, her legs hanging on either side, and slowly rode out.
Following the map's route, Ye Nai came out along a small road on the left side of the palace.
The road was in decent condition, all cleaned, but the snow was plentiful, enough to easily build a large snowman.
The wheels occasionally slipped, but she smoothly made it outside.
The end of the road was the grand square before the Royal Palace, and beyond the square, the city streets, while on each side stood a similarly grand building matching the palace's style, enclosing the square together.
Looking back, the front of the palace was much more majestic than their own home.
But the exact location of this place in Blue Star's southern hemisphere was unclear, fifty years made everything different, with no reference in sight to correspond with history books, but everywhere was grand architecture as far as the eye could see.
Quite a few men sprawled across the grand square, and the spores only took care of the people within the palace, not outside.
Apart from soldiers standing guard around, many were well-dressed, visibly upper-class, some were just commoners, like coachmen, Ye Nai even saw a horse standing asleep, while the coachman lay snoring loudly next to its hooves, his forehead scraped.
Ye Nai kindly went over and dragged the coachman away a bit, to prevent him from being seriously injured by the horse's hooves when he woke up.
The upper-class ones were also taken into Space, dressed so well; what if they were high-ranking officials? Or even civil servants or nobles?
With this thought in mind, Ye Nai rode her vehicle around the square, finally reading the signs on the two large buildings, realizing one was the Great Council, and the other was the Supreme Court.
Why think more then, she packed up the electric scooter and first entered the Supreme Court.
The people inside were also lying around, sleeping deeply, Ye Nai roughly understood why the spores didn't act here.
Because her order was to clear the Royal Palace.
How was she to know at the time that outside the palace were the Great Council and Supreme Court, it was her first visit, knowing nothing.
But now it's not too late, clear them all, sweeping up high-profile figures in one go is incredibly satisfying, saving her the effort of searching the whole city.
After a few minutes, everything was done, Ye Nai instantly teleported back to the palace's underground room with the transmission platforms.
The people captured in the palace piled haphazardly, after several selections, the best-dressed men, women, young, and the old were placed together, soldiers and servants were put back into Space, and those dressed reasonably well but not exceptionally were placed in a second group.
Then, from this second group, she picked someone whose clothes felt sturdy and looked old, restrained their body and limbs, pinched half of their vocal cords, and woke them up.
"Hey, wake up."
Ye Nai used her old trick, right hand with a gun, left hand with a gold coin.
The person, still groggy, opened their eyes and screamed.
"Ah! Who are you?!"
That shout echoed in the basement, fortunately, the sound wasn't loud.
Ye Nai pressed the gun barrel against the person's forehead, waving the gold coin in front of their eyes.
"Do you want money or your life?"
"Isn't that the same thing?"
"Of course not, money gets you gold coins, your life gets you a bullet."
"Are you a native?!"
Ye Nai clicked her tongue lightly, why did every person she woke up have to go through this routine, like there's a standard process, couldn't they just answer her questions?
