Chapter 33: The Crimson Clash

The night sky trembled as **Kael and Orin clashed once more.**

Their blades met in a storm of **sparks and energy,** each strike shattering the air like a thunderclap. **Power surged through the battlefield, twisting the earth beneath them.**

Orin's **golden-crimson aura burned**, his presence warping the space around him. His movements were faster than before, his strength nearly overwhelming.

But Kael wasn't backing down.

His own **Fragment pulsed—deep red, raw, untamed.** His strikes were sharper, faster, **stronger.** The abyssal energy within him surged, pushing him beyond his limits.

This wasn't just a battle.

It was a war of **ideals.**

A fight between **brothers turned enemies.**

### **The Dance of Death**

Kael **vanished.**

**Abyssal Step.**

He reappeared **behind Orin**, blade flashing toward his back—

But Orin was **faster.**

He spun, his sword **colliding with Kael's in a deafening impact.** The shockwave blasted outward, **tearing the ground apart.**

Kael gritted his teeth.

**Too strong.**

Orin's strength had become almost **inhuman.** He wasn't just wielding his power—**he was devouring it.**

And it was only growing stronger.

Orin smirked. "What's wrong, Kael? Feeling overwhelmed?"

Kael said nothing.

Then he **dove in again.**

He struck low—Orin parried.

He twisted, slashing from above—Orin blocked.

Every move Kael made, Orin countered with **unnatural precision.**

Then—

**BOOM!**

Orin **slammed his fist into Kael's chest.**

The force sent Kael **soaring backward, crashing through stone and debris.** His ribs screamed in pain, blood dripping from his mouth.

But he pushed himself up.

He couldn't afford to **stop now.**

### **Saren's Gamble**

From the ruins, **Saren watched, her hands trembling.**

She had fought alongside Kael and Orin for years. She had seen them struggle, grow, rise above impossible odds.

But now—

This fight was **tearing them apart.**

And she knew.

Kael **couldn't win this alone.**

Her grip tightened around her daggers.

She made her decision.

**Saren leaped forward.**

Kael and Orin's battle raged on, their blades clashing in rapid succession. Sparks **illuminated the battlefield** as abyssal and divine energy **collided violently.**

Then—**Saren struck.**

She aimed for Orin's **blind spot**, her dagger flashing toward his side—

**But Orin was ready.**

His hand **shot out, grabbing her wrist in midair.**

Her eyes widened.

Then—**CRACK.**

Orin **twisted her arm** and **slammed her into the ground.**

Saren let out a sharp **gasp of pain.**

Kael's heart **froze.**

He turned—just in time to see Orin **press his blade against Saren's throat.**

"You should have stayed out of this," Orin said coldly.

Kael **moved instantly.**

Abyssal energy **exploded** from his body.

He reappeared in front of Orin, his sword slamming downward—

**CLANG!**

Orin barely blocked in time. The impact forced him backward, his grip on Saren loosening.

She **rolled away, coughing.**

Kael **stood between them now.**

His **eyes burned.** His aura surged, darker, deeper, **deadlier.**

"You can fight me, Orin," Kael said, his voice **low, dangerous.** "But if you try to hurt her again—"

His sword **ignited with crimson fire.**

"I will kill you."

Orin's smirk flickered.

Then—**he laughed.**

"Finally," he whispered, stepping forward. His **golden-crimson aura blazed higher.** "This is the fight I've been waiting for."

Their battle was about to reach its **true climax.**
