"What?!"

"You're from another world?" Rias stared at Mika, stunned. Then, after a moment of silence, she suddenly exclaimed, "Tell me about it! I want to hear all about these other worlds! I'm so curious!"

"Huh? Aren't you even a little bit…skeptical?" Mika was taken aback by her reaction. He hadn't expected her to be so accepting.

"Why would I be?" She wrapped her arms around his neck, a playful smile on her face. "You wouldn't have told me such a secret unless you trusted me. And I trust you implicitly. After all, you're my dearest."

She leaned in, their foreheads touching. "Besides," she whispered, her voice filled with affection, "I find it…rather exciting."

Mika, feeling her love, gently lifted her into his arms and carried her to his bedroom. He couldn't resist her heartfelt confession.

He wanted to express his own feelings, in a more…intimate way.

——

Neither Mika nor Rias went to school that day.

Within the confines of his apartment, they expressed their love for each other, their passion consuming them until, exhausted but content, they finally emerged from their love-induced haze the following day.

"Rias, let me introduce you."

"This is Gabriel, an avatar of my Goddess—Yahweh. And this is Alfia, who is—well, like an aunt to me, though she doesn't like being called that."

Rias, despite her noble upbringing, felt a surge of nervousness as she addressed them. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Gabriel, Alfia."

After all, Gabriel was an avatar of Yahweh, the God of the Bible in Mika's world, the very being who had created the Three Factions.

While they weren't the same entity—Gabriel was still a version of the Biblical God.

Sensing her unease, Gabriel flew over to reassure her.

"Relax, Rias. Unlike your world, where different pantheons are at odds, the gods in our world are quite—amicable. So there's no need to be afraid of me."

"I understand..." Rias relaxed. She quickly warmed up to Gabriel and Alfia.

Unlike Mika, who constantly teased Alfia about her age, Rias's respectful demeanor earned Alfia's approval.

As they chatted, the topic shifted to Airmid and Mellie.

However—Rias didn't seem concerned, just as she hadn't minded Issei's desire for a Harem in the original story.

A Devil's perspective on love was different from a human's.

——

"Your experiences are fascinating, Mika!"

After listening to his stories, shared by both Mika and Gabriel, Rias was captivated by his adventures in other worlds.

The diverse cultures and unique characteristics of each world intrigued her.

She kept asking for more, leading to them both skipping school that morning.

It wasn't until the afternoon that they finally headed towards Kuoh Academy.

Even then, it was only because Rias knew she couldn't skip school for several days in a row.

It would worry Akeno and the others.

As for why they hadn't revealed their relationship, both had their reasons.

Mika didn't want to attract the attention of this world's powerful figures before he was ready, before his strength rivaled theirs.

Therefore—they had decided to keep their relationship a secret, at least for now.

"Mika, you have to take me to these other worlds someday!" Rias said as they left his apartment.

"I will, when the time is right," he promised. It wouldn't be a problem. Rias, unlike Yahweh, wasn't too powerful for him to transport. He would take her to Orario eventually. After all, that was his true home.

However, after defeating Kokabiel and leveling up, he intended to visit a 'certain' world, searching for a more suitable power system.

And since that world was likely to be another one filled with Gods and Devils, he planned to go alone.

He couldn't risk their safety.

After all, he always seemed to appear near the protagonist, and protagonists often attracted trouble.

"I'll be waiting," Rias said with a smile, then, remembering they were in public, she quickly changed the subject.

She knew better than to discuss such matters openly.

They reached the school and parted ways, heading to their respective classes. Mika arrived just as class was about to begin.

He slipped into his seat behind Asia. It was his old seat; Asia had taken his previous spot behind Issei.

However, after her arrival—he had given it to her, so she and Issei could sit together.

"What a lively bunch," he chuckled, leaning against the wall and observing Issei and his two friends, Matsuda and Motohama, engaged in their usual—animated conversation.

"Mika-senpai, you're here!" Asia greeted him.

"Good afternoon, Asia."

"Good afternoon, Mika-senpai."

——

Mika smiled wryly at her formal address.

Having saved Issei's life and trained him, he had become 'a big brother figure' to him. Asia, influenced by Issei, called him "senpai," despite his protests. He had eventually given up and accepted it.

"Mika—you're finally here!" Issei called out, turning around.

"Good afternoon, Issei."

Just then, the bell rang, signaling the start of class. Issei, who had been eager to ask Mika numerous questions, sighed and turned his attention to the lesson, planning to talk to him later.

Mika leaned against the wall, his presence subdued, as he observed the classroom. Then, he suddenly stood up and headed towards the door.

The weather was nice; he felt like skipping class.

He walked past the teacher, who had just arrived, and left the classroom, leaving a stunned Issei and Asia behind.

....

Occult Research Club.

"Mika! You're so mean! Skipping class without me?! You could have at least taken me with you!"

"Issei, my ability to suppress my presence only works on me. I can't exactly drag you out of the classroom undetected," Mika replied with a chuckle, setting down his teacup.

"Issei, you should focus on your studies," Akeno added with a playful grin.

"Yes, Akeno-senpai," he replied dejectedly, prompting the others to laugh.

Soon, all seven members of the Occult Research Club were present.

Rias calmly explained her absence for the past day and a half, a carefully crafted excuse she and Mika had concocted: He had needed her assistance with some…special research.

The others nodded, accepting her explanation without question. After all, she was their President, and questioning her decisions wasn't wise.

Besides, Mika's reputation as a researcher was well-established.

He had wielded the power of light during their battle against the Fallen Angels, a clear demonstration of his research results.

Therefore, they had no reason to doubt their story.

After her explanation, she turned to the others, who were waiting for their next assignment.

"The school's ball games tournament is in a little over a week. We need to start preparing."

"The ball games tournament?"

Some were excited, others confused. Mika was among the latter.

"It's a school tradition. We compete in various sports over several days, including class competitions, inter-gender matches, and club competitions," she explained.

"And the Occult Research Club will be participating." Judging by her serious tone, they were expected to win.

"I seem to recall you enjoying human activities quite a bit, Buchou," Mika chuckled, seeing the competitive glint in her eyes.

'I suppose I'll have to…indulge her,' he thought.

"If I remember correctly, the specific events for the club competition aren't announced until the day of the tournament, are they?" Akeno asked.

"That's right. Therefore, we'll be training in all the sports over the next few days," Rias replied, her voice filled with determination.

"Yes, Buchou! We'll do our best!" they all responded, slightly intimidated by her intensity.

Thus began their training.

Basketball, soccer, baseball, badminton, rugby—they had to quickly learn the rules and master the basics.

"Clang!"

"Home run!"

"As expected of Mika! He excels at everything!!" Issei and the others cheered as Mika sent a baseball soaring into the sky.

"It's nothing," he replied with a shrug, his bat resting casually on his shoulder.

Baseball wasn't particularly challenging.

While he was using only his normal human strength, his Martial arts mastery—though not directly applicable, still enhanced his reflexes and coordination, allowing him to hit every pitch perfectly.

And after watching a few videos, he could even replicate various special pitches. He would be a formidable opponent, practically a cheat code.

"Excellent! You'll be our pitcher and cleanup hitter, Mika!" Rias declared.

"Leave it to me," he replied confidently.

"Then let's continue our training."

As Devils—they were unlikely to lose.

After all, their enhanced physical abilities gave them a significant advantage.

However, Rias, always thorough—insisted they properly learn the rules and nuances of each sport. This was her nature, her meticulous attention to detail—a trait Mika admired.

And so, in the days leading up to the ball games tournament, they immersed themselves in training, an experience Mika, despite his adventures in other worlds, had never truly enjoyed before.

It was a memory he would cherish.
