"Is it finally time?"

As dusk settled on the day of the operation, Mika, Airmid, and Mellie arrived at their designated rendezvous point—a dimly lit alley, usually deserted, but now filled with adventurers leaning against the walls, awaiting their orders.

Mellie surveyed the assembled forces. "These are all elites from the Ganesha Familia."

Even the weakest among them were Level 2 or above.

The Yahweh Familia only had three such adventurers, and the Astraea Familia had five or six. The majority of this force was from the Ganesha Familia.

In terms of sheer numbers, they were Orario's largest, after all. As the city's Military Police, they required a large force to maintain order.

"Mika, you're finally here!" Shakti said, relieved.

Although the Ganesha Familia had the most members, the Yahweh Familia was the strongest.

While both she and Mika were Level 5, she knew she was no match for him.

This had become clear during their time in the dungeon.

"We're not late, are we?" Mika asked with a smile.

"No, of course not," Shakti replied, her usual serious demeanor softening slightly.

"But seeing you here…it puts me at ease." She immediately blushed, realizing her words could be misconstrued.

"I mean…your strength is reassuring," she stammered, her face flushing crimson.

Ever since learning about Zald and Alfia, she had been on edge.

As captain of the Ganesha Familia, she knew how powerful they were.

They were opponents she couldn't hope to defeat.

Only the Freya and Loki Familias had a chance against them.

She had no chance of victory. This worried her greatly. She often felt helpless against the powerful monsters of the deep floors.

But Mika was different. Despite being the same level as her, his combat abilities were far beyond her expectations.

He had saved and protected her countless times during their dungeon expeditions and battles against the dark faction.

She had grown to rely on him.

Now, facing the impending battle, only his presence could calm her nerves.

Seeing her flustered state, Mika understood.

He was well aware of her reliance on him. He placed his hands on her shoulders and said earnestly, "Don't worry, I'll protect you."

Shakti's blush deepened. His words were easily misinterpreted.

She panicked, her ears and neck turning crimson.

"Eek!!" She covered her face and ran to hide in a corner.

"Sister, what's wrong?" Adi, who had been talking with Ryu, noticed Shakti's unusual behavior and asked, concerned.

But Shakti was in no mood for conversation.

She simply huddled in the corner, her face hidden in her hands.

"What happened to her?" Mika, unaccustomed to seeing Shakti so flustered, asked, "Did I…move her with my words?"

Airmid and Mellie, their faces grim, simultaneously kicked him.

"Ouch! What was that for?!" He turned to them, but they ignored him, walking away.

"What's their problem?" he muttered, scratching his head, just as someone tapped him on the shoulder.

"Good evening, Mika." He turned to see Alise and Gojouno.

"Good evening. Where were you two? I didn't see you earlier." He had scanned the area upon arriving and had seen the other members of the Astraea Familia, but not them.

Their faces turned serious. "We went to scout the target location."

"And?" Seeing their expressions, Mika's playful demeanor vanished.

"It's the same as before, which is precisely what worries me. It's too quiet," Gojouno said grimly.

"It feels like…we're walking into a trap."

Mika nodded in agreement. "Ever since our battles with the dark faction began, My [Danger Sense] has been on high alert. And today, it's particularly active."

Alise and Gojouno's faces paled. They understood; there was danger ahead.

"But we can't call off the operation." Seeing them about to speak, Mika raised his hand. "I know what you're thinking, but this is important. We can't keep playing defense. We have to confront them eventually."

"Finn understands this as well. After all, he has a similar ability."

"Indeed, we've prepared thoroughly. We're ready to face whatever they throw at us," Shakti said, approaching them.

Her earlier flustered demeanor was gone, replaced by a calm resolve.

"We understand," Gojouno said, realizing they had no choice. They would face the danger head-on, even if it was a trap.

"Good. I'll protect you," Mika reassured them.

Shakti frowned at his words, while Alise chuckled. "I don't need your protection! Just watch; I'll be at the front lines!"

Seeing her cheerful confidence, the others smiled. Even the tense members of the Ganesha Familia relaxed slightly. The earlier grim atmosphere dissipated.

"That's the spirit!" Mika said, looking at the group. "With me here, you won't die. Even if you don't trust me, you should have faith in our Warfront Saint." He pulled Airmid forward, placing a hand on her shoulder.

Though slightly embarrassed by his public display of affection, she understood his intentions. "My Magic will protect you all."

The adventurers' spirits lifted at her words.

"With Lady Airmid, we're invincible!"

"Indeed. I've fought alongside her before; it's an experience I'll never forget."

"I can't wait to charge in!" Many of those present had witnessed Airmid's healing magic firsthand during their battles against the dark faction. Seeing her now filled them with confidence.

"As expected of our Warfront Saint. A true morale booster," Shakti said with a smile.

Mika turned to her. "How much time until the operation begins?"

Airmid checked the clock. "Three minutes." Before the operation, Finn, Ottar, and Shakti had synchronized their clocks to ensure a simultaneous attack, preventing the dark faction from alerting their other bases.

"Then begin your preparations, Airmid."

"Understood." Airmid closed her eyes and began chanting, carefully suppressing the glow of her Magic to avoid alerting the enemy.

'Healing drops, tears of light, eternal sanctuary, I call upon the light's symphony. Three hundred sixty-five melodies, the calendar of healing shall mend all creation. Then, descend, banish all evil. Seal the wounds, soothe the pain, cast curses to the other side, deliver the light's pivot. In the name of the divine, I heal you.'

Suppressing her magic's visual effects slowed her chanting slightly, but three minutes was still ample time.

"Dia Fratel!" As she finished, a faint, ethereal light enveloped the adventurers.

Although they were already at peak condition, the Continuous Healing would maintain their strength and automatically mend any injuries they sustained.

"Fifteen seconds!" Shakti's voice snapped them back to attention.

"10!"

"9!"

"8!" Their faces grew serious as the countdown continued.

"7!"

"6!"

"5!" Anticipation filled their hearts.

"4!"

"3!"

"2!" It's about to begin, they all thought, waiting for the command.

"1!"

"It's time!"

"Everyone, move out!" Shakti shouted, no longer needing to whisper. She could finally unleash her voice.

"Charge!"

With Shakti's command, they surged forward, Gojouno and Airmid leading the charge.

The two swift and powerful adventurers were tasked with eliminating the dark faction scouts stationed outside the base.

Their earlier reconnaissance had revealed the scouts' positions.

With lightning-fast movements, they swiftly dispatched the enemy.

"Charge! Charge! Charge!" They roared, their voices echoing through the night as they stormed the facility, Mika and Alise leading the way.

At the other two locations, Finn and Ottar, leading the Loki and Freya Familias, simultaneously launched their assaults.

All of Orario's major Familias were now in motion. The battle between justice and evil had begun.

The Great Battle had arrived.

"Charge! Charge! Charge!" They raced through the facility, following the main corridor, their shouts echoing through the halls.

As they encountered resistance, the fighting began, and the assault team split up.

Some remained behind to engage the enemy, while others charged ahead, pursuing those who fled.

Mika and the others pressed towards the facility's center, searching for the dark faction's leaders and executives, or perhaps... their most dreaded adversaries, Zald and Alfia.

"Die!"

"Bastard, I'll kill you!"

"You'll be the one dying!"

"Argh!" The sounds of battle and angry shouts echoed around them.

Their objective wasn't to kill every single member of the dark faction.

They subdued those who surrendered; after all, they weren't executioners.

But as they continued their advance, Mika's pace slowed.

He fell back to the middle of the formation.

The others didn't object; they, too, had noticed something amiss.

"This isn't right. There are a lot of Level 1 adventurers here, but there are also quite a few Level 2 elites. Why are we encountering so little resistance? They shouldn't be this weak."

Mika frowned, his Danger Sense blaring since they entered the facility.

He felt like he was walking into a trap, a monster's lair, death lurking around every corner.
