DxD: Infernal Destroyer

DxD 0035: Fighting Over a Lamb

Thanking Akeno with a loving kiss on her lips, Abaddon left the room, wearing the Kuoh Academy uniform.

Soon, as he was walking in the corridor, Abaddon heard the bell ring that signified the start of the first class for the day. He kept walking at the same pace slowly. When he reached the class, he just walked in and took a seat without saying anything to the teacher who ignored him thanks to a little compulsion spell.

“Psst…” He heard someone call out to him amidst the boring class.

“What’s up?” Abaddon turned to look at Issei who was calling him. “You okay, man?” Issei asked him.

“Hm? Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” Abaddon asked Issei, confused.

“I heard that you along with a couple of the other students of the school were hospitalized after getting into an accident, did that not happen?” He asked Abaddon with a whisper.

“Well…” Abaddon decided to beat Kiba up today for this dumb excuse, “As you can see, I’m perfectly fine.” He said to Issei in a normal voice.

“So does that mean that Rias-senpai and Akeno-senpai are fine too?” Issei asked excitedly with a perverted gleam in his eyes. ‘So that’s why this pervert was so interested…’ Abaddon wasn’t surprised.

“Yes, everyone’s fine. They’re all baseless rumors.” He told Issei with an annoyed undertone. ‘Should I just kill him and take the sacred gear?’ He thought, ‘Nah, if it really is a Longinus then I won’t be able to collect it forcefully before the system pulls it back… I need him to sign it off in a devil contract.’ He thought, making plans to trick Issei to sell his soul to him.

“So those heavenly breasts are perfectly fine…” Issei went off on a tangent about Akeno’s and Rias’ breasts and how he imagined them to be. Each of his words was making Abaddon more and more annoyed to the point that he cast a silencing spell on Issei so that he doesn’t have to hear the pervert’s words anymore, ‘Did this fuck fall on his head as a kid or something?’ He thought.

Ignoring Issei, Abaddon escaped after attending the first class and went to torture Kiba for choosing such a dumb excuse.

“What do you know about that Issei dude in my class?” Abaddon asked Rias after barging into the Occult Research clubroom. Koneko and Akeno were also there, discussing something.

“I’ve already called dibs on him, Abaddon. Whatever Sacred Gear he has is pretty powerful, and I want it.” Rias said with a tone that told Abaddon that she wouldn’t budge.

“Hell no, I’m not allowing that pervert anywhere near you, Akeno or Koneko,” Abaddon said in his verdict.

“You are not adding him to your peerage, Abaddon.” Rias was adamant, “I need talent and he would be a very good candidate for my pawn.” She finished.

“As I said, there is no way I’m letting that pervert anywhere near your peerage. Or mine for that matter. I will not be reincarnating him. Instead, I will be taking his sacred gear.” Abaddon explained.

“You would kill an innocent child for his sacred gear?” Rias asked him with an aggressive tone.

“We’re devils, Rias. You don’t get to be human at your convenience when it comes to morals. And he’s far from being a child. And considering his perverted habits, I doubt that he’s innocent either.” He said. “I second that.” Koneko raised her hand. She didn’t like Issei’s perverted ways either.

“Innocent enough to not warrant his death,” Rias said, giving Koneko a look that made her back down.

“I’ll get him to willingly sign off on his soul with a contract, he’ll be giving up on his sacred gear willingly when he dies… naturally,” Abaddon responded to Rias’ flaring glare, ”What’s the problem with that?” He asked.

Rias glared at him with a confrontational expression but he didn’t back down, “You really want to do this?” She asked him angrily.

“Yes.” His reply was concise. “Fine, but you owe me.” Rias pointed her finger at him with a teasing smile on her face, the confrontational atmosphere instantly disappearing.

“…You were fucking with me.” Abaddon had a dark look on his face. “I was, and I have to say, it worked perfectly.” Rias had a proud smile on her face.

“Fine… What do you want?” He asked as his expression morphed into a helpless smile. Rias felt her stomach churn at his easy acceptance, “No…” She was in denial.

“What?” He showed an innocently confused expression, “What favor do you want from me?” He reiterated. “You let me win!” Rias threw her hands in the air in frustration. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He said with an innocent tone, but his devious expression gave it away.

“I hate you.” Rias pouted and looked away while sitting on the couch. The two other girls in the room conveniently ignored the exchange between them and seemed to be extremely interested in something that they were talking about.

“Aww… Are you pouting, you big baby boo?” Abaddon said with a teasing tone as he sat beside her. He held her chin and turned her face to look at him, “Tell me what you want in exchange for the pawn you called dibs on.” He looked into her eyes with a compelling yet gentle look.

“Aether…” Rias said with a whisper, answering almost instantly, “The training I do on my own is very inefficient. I want you to help me…” She told him her requirements.

Abaddon’s face got a wide smile that made Rias shudder as she realized what his answer was before he even said anything, “It all comes back to this, my lovely cousin.” He got closer to her face and whispered into her ear, “Sleep with me and I will help you train. It’s a passive process and you won’t even need to work so hard for it.” He was like the devil whispering into her ears, ‘Is that even logical? She’s also a devil…’ He mused.

Rias shivered when she felt his hot breath caressing her ear. She looked down as if deep in thought for a while before Abaddon heard a soft whimper come through her ruby lips, “I didn’t catch it.” He said with the same smile on his face. He already knew her answer.

“Tonight…” She said in a tiny voice, raising her head but still not making eye contact, “Alone.” She wasn’t willing to sleep with others present. At least not yet.

“Done.” He brought his face closer to hers making her feel every tiny breath that he took as she felt like she was bathing in his presence. He brought his lips to her forehead and gave her a comforting kiss before saying, “Now can you tell me about that pervert classmate of mine who might have an overpowered Sacred Gear?”

“You’re no fair…” Rias mumbled before lightly hitting his chest with her fist, still looking down while feeling as if her face was burning, “A Fallen Angel is targetting him because of that gear’s dormant energy signature. I’ve planted a bug on him that will alert me when he’s in a near-death state.” She told him while creating a magic circle and showing it to him, “This is the tracking key.”

“You’re the best Rias. Thank you.” He memorized the key while wrapping his arms around Rias and pulling her into a bear hug. She screamed as her face was abruptly pressed against his chest while he tightly held her body, “All right, all right… Let me go…” She struggled in his hug, but his hold was too tight and she only seemed like a child throwing a tantrum as she struggled. He only freed her after he was satisfied.

Rias had an aggrieved expression on her face when he finally let her go, “If it’s a good sacred gear, I’ll find something else to make it up to you.” He promised her.

“You don’t have to, you’re helping me enough. I’m already pretty grateful to you for helping me with my engagement.” Rias said, as she slowly regained her composure.

She saw Abaddon smile non-committally and realized that she wasn’t going to dissuade him from his decision. “Fine, do as you wish. Would you like to eat dinner with all of us? Akeno’s cooking.” Rias offered.

“I would love to, though only if you feed me.” He said. “In your dreams,” Rias scoffed.

“It’s okay, A-kun, I’ll feed you,” Akeno interjected from the side. “You’re the best, Akeno. Thank you.” He said, appreciating the gentle smile that appeared on Akeno’s face after he agreed. Rias looked at Akeno with a passive expression that scared the poor girl who took Abaddon’s attention away from Rias.

“Don’t bully my Akeno.” Abaddon stepped in and pulled Rias’ face to his chest, forcefully preventing her from glaring at Akeno.

“Fufu…” Akeno smiled flirtingly, “Buchou, you said those exact words when A-kun was teasing me when we met the first time…” She pointed out.

After a while, Akeno started preparing the food for them and Kiba also joined in after a while, giving Abaddon a horrified look when he saw him. Akeno was the first to tease Kiba for being scared of Abaddon, but she wasn’t the only one. The other two also joined in and Kiba could only cry inside as he ate Akeno’s heavenly food.
