Dungeons, Idiots, Treasures, How Hard Can It Be?

The large bullet came out of the blunderbuss at fast speeds as it bounced of the skin of the Vornumian Serpent. It slowly awoke from its slumber and let out a reverberating roar that shook the mines, bones and saliva came out of its mouth hitting the group.

Aralia rushed at the serpent dodging its lunge as she jumped into the air slamming down on its forehead. She struck down both the axes down on to her face which almost did nothing to the creature except making it more angry.

It hissed before trying to swallow her but before it could swallow Aralia, Jae flew towards her saving her, as she breathed flames at the serpent blinding it for a moment.

That moment was used by Yuni to shoot five paralysis tinged arrows at the center of its body causing the serpent to roar out loud. It convulsed rapidly as Sticky rushed towards it with two magical daggers he got from Theo.

The daggers combined into one, a shear which Sticky used to slash at its body creating many massive cuts. Aralia jumped off Jae and got on its face, she started strike at its face with both her axes. Making many slashes and cuts, but this only made the serpent more mad once more as it started vibrating.

"Jae get her out of there!" exclaimed Theo as he grabbed Sticky and Yuni.

Jae rushed forward to Aralia grabbing her by her feet as she flew away. The serpent let out a guttural roar breathed toxic flames which left poison pools over the ground.

"Fuck! We barely did damage to it!" Yuni cursed.

It stared at them its eyes cold as ice as well as.mesmerizing as the sun due to its yellow glow from its eyes.

Theo reloaded his blunderbuss as he aimed it at the serpent, Yuni looking at him as if he is insane shrugged it off before grabbing five more arrows and aiming it at it.

"Aralia you stay behind as defender, me and Yuni shall be the attackers this time. Sticky you provide the support as well as Jae." Theo spoke, his voice stern like a commander's orders.

Everyone took to their positions as the serpent hissed and awaited their attacks. The snake coiled around itself shedding its skin and gaining a new hardened body clean with no cuts or wounds found.

"Oh for Gods sake!" Yuni cursed as she shot at the snake.

It coiled around itself deflecting the arrow as Theo threw an acidic vial at it burning its skin slowly. It hissed out loud that the ceiling started to crumble, rocks, and stalactites fall from it, everyone rolled out of the way.

Seeing the ceiling crumble made a lightbulb flash in the mind of Yuni as she shot at the serpent's eyes blinding it for a few seconds.

"Oi merchant! I have an idea!" she called out to Theo was creating another grenade.

"What?" 

"Shoot at the ceiling, and we all book it to the gate." 

Everyone went silent hearing her plan as the serpent rushed towards them breaking their thinking.

"Fine! Everyone run to the gate!" Theo shouted while shooting at the serpent and reloading at the same time.

Yuni grabbed Sticky and threw them towards the glowing exit as Aralia ran towards it. Theo and Jae fought against the serpent who spun around it confused fury.

Jae turned back into human once more as she got towards the exit. Everyone stood near the exit awaiting Theo who kept the serpent at bay with his grenades and blunderbuss.

Glancing over his shoulder to see everyone ready to leave he took a deep breath, and shot at the ceiling. 

Without any second to waste he ran towards the gate all while the serpent chased after while the ceiling slowly feel. He pushed everyone in as soon as the ceiling fully crumbled and fell down on to the serpent.

A few hours later, Theo woke up to see himself in a bed, and next to him was Jae eating on a plate of fried dragon eggs.

He sat up on the bed taking time to catch his thoughts before speaking, "Where's everyone?"

Jae replied her voiced muffled by the food, "Vey var vownzairs, ve var vin a var."

Theo understood what she had said and stood up from the bed grabbing his leather jacks with fur linings and wore it. Walking down the stairs he was met with the noise of many people shouting or talking, arguing, or having games.

"This bar sure is rowdy." he thought.

Across him were the others sitting having fun as they drank to their hearts content. Theo walked over to them and grabbed a chair, as he looked to his right.

It was a dwarf who wore white priest robes, he had a small unkept beard on his face, but the dwarf was clearly drunk.

"Oh you're awake?" the dwarf asked.

He drunkenly pat Theo's shoulder as he slumped down on to the table passed out.

"So who is he?" Theo asked, Yuni who was in front of him placed her jug down and spoke with a hint of drunkenness to her voice.

"Volhcard, a priest who can help us find Volantis."

Theo looked around to see only Sticky and Aralia to be the only sober one, and he looked back at the bartender.

"Barkeep, one whole bottle of red honey!" Theo shouted 

The bartender nodded and swiftly started mixing to make his drink. Yuni took out a picture from her pocket as she tossed on to the table.

"It fell when you passed out." she said as Theo took the picture.

The picture was of me as young boy with his father to his left, and mother to his right as well as his uncle behind him. He gripped the photo tightly before placing it in his pockets.

Yuni noticed his look and decided not to ask questions who were the people in the photo as she drank from the jug.

Everything was normal, and peaceful once more as the bar stayed loud, but somewhere in Vyolmir was hooded man going inside the Church of Glorious Life.

He spoke to the lizard on his shoulder, "Find the crucifix." his voice deep, and somber.

The lizard nodded before going his shoulder and entering the basement area of the Church.

The man took a ring out of his pocket with the symbol of the First Slime.

"Soon, I will you bring you back Leandros."
