Look, I know the beginning wasn't exactly peak storytelling. The first chapter was long as hell, and then the second one was just "Welcome to Kyoji's tragic backstory!" But trust me, I did it for a reason! I needed to set things up properly.

Was it the smoothest start? No.

Will things get way more exciting soon? Absolutely.

So if you're thinking of dropping it—don't. Things are just getting started.
