Hearing their party leader's words, all of the Hundred Poison valley sector's soldiers came to their senses and started attacking these people. It was heartbreaking to kill innocent people, but no one wanted to end up like these people in the end. After all, there was no future for war prisoners in this world; they were destined to die in solitude.

One after another, those war prisoners of the Nichole clan's side started falling on the ground after getting hit by arrows and darts. These people were very skilled assassins. They might not have had much strength in numbers, but they were very frightening with their bows and swords.

But alas, today was not their day. Something was about to happen. These soldiers had killed more than five hundred war prisoners in an instant, but suddenly these soldiers noticed something unexpected.

"What the hell is this?" One of the soldiers approached a woman's body. She was a middle-aged woman with tattered clothes and had just died after getting hit by a poison arrow.

When he approached her, he saw something burning around her waist. Seeing that thing on her waist, his facial expression became dark.

He approached them in a hurry and bowed towards the woman who was looking at him with a serious expression.

"Lady Jasmine, those soldiers of the Nichole clan finally entered the deserted valley, but there is some bad news." That man could be seen standing in front of Jasmine with a solemn expression as he had come here to give the insight from the deserted valley.

Jasmine's face turned dark as she heard him, but seeing that soldier's expression, her heart sank. He was hesitating to say something.

Hearing Jasmine's words, he bit his lips and looked towards her.

"My lady, they are using more than thousands of war prisoners as meat shields. Most of them are children and women," he responded after taking a long breath, hesitating to tell her that their captain had already given the orders to kill those war prisoners, no matter who they were.

Old Lee and Neena also noticed the dark expression on his face. He looked towards Jasmine.

"The captain already gave orders to kill everyone, no matter if they are civilians or not, my lady. Most of them are women and children, they all are dying like dogs. It's very heartbreaking to watch." He started crying and fell onto the ground on his knees.

Jasmine was taken aback as she heard his words and her gaze went towards Neena and Lee. Both of them were silent as they looked towards Jasmine.

"We need to stop them..." she mumbled as she looked at Neena and Lee, but one after another, blasts started occurring inside the deserted valley and the whole Hundred Poison valley sector started shaking with the sound of the blasts. Those sounds of the blasts could be heard miles away.

Everyone gazed towards the direction of the deserted valley. The sky turned dark with black smoke. Jasmine clenched her fist as she looked in the direction of the deserted valley, and her expression became dark.

One after another, the people of the Hundred Poison valley sector could be seen exiting from that forest. Most of them were in an unrecognizable condition with third-degree burn marks. One after another they started to fall onto the ground after exiting the deserted valley. They were all crying in dreadful voices and looking towards Jasmine with those lifeless eyes.

"What is this?! How could someone do this kind of an inhuman thing?" Jasmine fell to her knees as she looked towards the soldiers of the Hundred Poison valley sector.

Neena approached Jasmine as she also bent to her knees and hugged Jasmine.

"This is not the right time, you have to be strong, my lady, we will fight till the end, no matter what..." Neena said as she tried to calm her.

Jasmine tilted her head and looked towards Neena.

"This is madness. This is not the way to fight a battle while using innocent women and children as their meat shields, this is the wrong way, Neena," Jasmine said as tears started flowing from her eyes. She couldn't control herself as she saw her people dying in front of her eyes, their bodies in an unrecognizable condition.

This was the first time Lee and Neena saw Jasmine break down like this. She had not even shed tears when she had received the news of her father and brother meeting their demise. Both Neena and Lee exchanged glances.

" Neena, there is no way we can win this war. Take lady Jasmine and leave this place along with our civilians. I am going to stop those guys and try to buy some time," Lee said with a bitter smile on his face as he looked towards Neena.

Hearing his words, Neena turned silent for a moment but a moment later she took a breath and looked towards Lee.

"I am proud of you that you are my father. Don't worry about me. I will take care of lady Jasmine and keep her safe," Neena said as she looked towards old Lee.

Lee smiled and nodded his head and looked towards Jasmine.

"I am proud of you, my lady, and it's my honour that I serve your father and you," he said as he looked at Jasmine.

"Don't you dare to do any foolishness! I am not going to let you go. I don't want to lose you. Don't sacrifice your life for me, stay here beside me," Jasmine said as she tried to get up but suddenly she felt something hit her from behind on her neck, and the next moment she lost consciousness.

Neena took a deep sigh as she looked at Jasmine.

"I am sorry, my lady, please forgive me for this," Neena said and the next moment she looked towards Lee.

"Take care of my child and serve her until your last breath," Lee said as he looked at Neena and one last time he looked at Jasmine before entering the deserted valley along with a few soldiers.

"What the hell, what was that sound?" Yohan mumbled as he heard the multiple sounds of blasts.

"War prisoners," Arjun mumbled as he looked at Yohan and his gaze went towards the direction of the deserted valley. They had finally reached the Hundred Poison valley sector and they halted their movement as they heard the sound of the blast and saw black smoke all around the deserted valley.

Yohan looked towards Arjun as he heard the words about war prisoners. Vinyaraaj and Natasha clenched their fists as they heard that.

Arjun took a deep breath and shook his head.

"They are the people who lost in wars. It is probable that the Nichole clan is using them as a meat shield. It's an old tactic to win battles. They make those people run towards the enemy camp with the dynamite and later they blast those people with fire arrows. It's a very heinous crime, but remember, young master, this is a very cruel world.

Everything is frightening in a war," Arjun said as he looked at Yohan.

Yohan took a deep breath as he looked around.

"Let's go, we need to stop them before they cross the deserted valley and enter the Hundred Poison sector." Yohan looked at Arjun and his gaze fell on Natasha and Vinyaraaj.

Both Natasha and Vinyaraaj nodded their heads towards Yohan and the next moment both of them looked towards the soldiers.

"Prepare for battle!" Natasha and Vinyaraaj shouted as they gave orders to mobilize the forces into war.

Meanwhile…

"Haha, look at those pigs! They are running here and there with those flames, this is fun to watch," Hansa laughed as he looked towards the soldiers of the Hundred Poison valley sector who were running for their lives while their bodies were burning with flames.

"Tch, there is no fun in staying here and watching them burn, you are a psychopath, brother Hansa." Mansa touched his long white beard as he said those words. Both of them were standing along with lord Nicholas as they watched this scene.
