Dual Cultivator Reborn [System In The Cultivation World]

Chapter 134: Hidden monster part 1

But Yohan's way of thinking was different. He knew that things worked in different ways on the battlefield. That was why Yohan stated his words loud and clear, in a domineering voice. He knew these people weren't going to follow him blindly. After all, who would have wanted to follow an incompetent or trash guy who had achieved nothing in his whole life apart from the title of young master?

Besides, he had received that title by luck as he was born in the Lin clan. Everyone was looking at Yohan with a serious expression as he said those words.

Everyone was looking at each other's faces, but no one dared to raise their voice against him. They wanted to bear the shame of being controlled by trash, but alas, a man was calmly looking at Yohan and hearing his words. He couldn't take anymore as he didn't want to feel ashamed and didn't want to get controlled by a trash young master.

"Pardon my rudeness, respected elder Lin and sir Arjun, but I don't think young master Yohan is suitable for this mission. You already know that the Nichole clan has too many powerful warriors and they are supported by many cultivators. It's a bad idea to let young master Yohan lead a battalion in this war. I oppose this decision," he said as he stood in the middle of the line.

That voice echoed in Yohan's ears. He tilted his head towards the direction of that voice.

Everyone's gaze went towards the man who said those words. After all, everyone was against the idea of letting Yohan lead the battalion, but no one was willing to say anything out of fear. After all, the elder Lin was the one who made this decision and no one wanted to challenge his decision.

A muscular man approached the front line. He had a giant body and a dominating aura around him while he was wearing thick silver armour and carrying a long sword. He approached the front line and bowed to the elder Lin and Arjun. He ignored Yohan and looked towards the old man Lin.

Old Lin and Arjun looked at him with nonchalant expressions as they saw him. The old man Lin nodded his head in response.

"My name is Vinyaraaj and I belong to the Banshi clan which has served the Lin clan for decades. I have no intention of insulting young master Yohan, but it's not a good idea to let young master Yohan lead us. Everyone is against this idea, but no one is going to say anything, because no one wants to disrespect your decision, elder Lin," he said as he looked at old Lin.

Seeing this, everyone started murmuring. After all, everyone wanted to say those words to old Lin, but no one dared to go against his decision. They were even willing to serve Yohan while knowing he didn't have the capabilities to carry this mission. He was a complete fool and trash, fooling around here, and he wanted to play a hero's role.

They knew he was going to get killed in this way and let these people die along with him.

Old Lin remained silent as he didn't have any words to say. He knew Vinyaraaj had a point.

But Arjun became furious after hearing those words, while Yohan remained calm as he looked at Vinyaraaj.

"How dare you go against elder Lin's decision? I know you are a capable warrior and you have the potential to reach a higher rank one day, but this kind of behaviour is not acceptable," Arjun said as he looked at Vinyaraaj.

"I will take any punishment for my rudeness, but I don't think I can serve a person who doesn't have the qualifications to lead more than thousands of elite warriors," Vinyaraaj responded to Arjun while his head was down with respect.

"I agree with Vinyaraaj. I am also against this idea of letting young master Yohan lead the battalion. We are talking about war here and sir Arjun is more than enough to lead us, but we can't fight under young master Yohan. Please, elder Lin, at least reconsider your decision." A woman wearing the same armour as Vinyaraaj came to the front as she spoke.

She had dark green eyes and a beautiful face while she was holding two twin blades around his waist.

"Natasha..." Arjun mumbled as he looked towards the woman who was in her twenties.

She bowed to the elder Lin and gave a look to Yohan who was looking at her with a calm expression.

"I don't think master Yohan can lead us, and I don't understand why sir Arjun is the second in command. Please, elder Lin, think one more time. I know I am being disrespectful here, but he will lose his life on the battlefield and take everyone along with him into hell.

Everyone here has family, and who wants to be part of this battle when we know we are going to die on the battlefield?" Natasha slightly bowed towards the old man as she stated her decision.

"So, both of you are uncomfortable with the decision that my grandpa made." Yohan took a step towards these two and said those words.

Natasha took a deep sigh as she looked at Yohan and next moment she shook her head.

"This is not a child's play, young master Yohan. You don't know anything about the harsh reality of battle. There is no coming back when you join a battle. One mistake and it will cost you your life. Everyone worked very hard to join this battalion and we all sacrificed a lot of things you will never understand.

Please don't take it too hard, but you are just a hindrance on the battlefield if you join as the commanding general," Natasha said with a serious expression.

The whole place turned dead silent as everyone was looking at Natasha and Vinyaraaj. Arjun nervously swallowed and his gaze went towards the old man Lin. He was expecting his master, old Lin, to intervene in this matter, but to his surprise, the old man was silent.

Yohan smiled as he heard Natasha.

"Very well, then. I can understand your point of view. Now, things have become like this and I don't think there is any point in discussing this topic further. You guys already made up your minds about me. I can understand why both of you are going to that length to oppose me," Yohan said as he looked at Natasha and Vinyaraaj.

"I am glad you understand your capability. Trust me, young master Yohan, you make a wise choice. The battlefield is not meant for you, it's better you stay inside the Lin clan. Leave those trivial things to us," Natasha exclaimed as she replied to Yohan.

"Indeed, young master, you made a good decision. Natasha is right, please don't take those things to your heart. We don't mean to insult you. We just wanted to make sure you stay safe here," Vinyaraaj said as he looked at Yohan. Natasha also nodded her head as she heard Vinyaraaj. After all, they both thought their combined efforts had worked on Yohan and he changed his decision to join them.

Yohan smiled and nodded his head.

"Both of you misunderstood my words. I am still going to lead you. Who said I dropped the idea of joining this battle? Let's not waste time here, we must be preparing for departure," Yohan responded to these two with a smile.

Natasha and Vinyaraaj exchanged glances as they heard Yohan. Everyone was dumbfounded by Yohan's words.

"Very well then, prove yourself. Fight with me. If you are able to land a hit on me, I am willing to serve you." Natasha became furious as she said those words. Vinyaraaj and everyone who was present there became surprised as they heard Natasha.

Old Lin and Arjun remain calm as they had expected that sooner or later things would become like this, and it was a good opportunity for Yohan to make them yield. After all, this soldier could become his trusted ally in future when he was going to lead the Lin clan. The elder Lin wanted this to happen. He looked at Yohan.

Seeing his grandpa's gaze, Yohan smiled and looked towards Natasha and Vinyaraaj.

"Very well then. I accept your challenge, but I have one condition." Yohan smiled and approached Natasha and directly looked into her eyes.

He was a few inches away from her. She could smell Yohan's masculine scent. For a moment, she felt intimidated by Yohan as he approached her, but soon she composed herself. Yohan was indeed very handsome and charming, apart from that title of trash.

"I can understand. I will give you a free hand, after all this is your first time. You don't have to hold yourself, and rest assured, I have no intention to harm you, only one hit. That's all you need," Natasha said as she smiled at him. She thought he was going to ask her to go easy on him, after all, she was a trained warrior.
