Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 905:- A Moment Between Aditya and Lara

The morning sun had barely begun to rise over the Dragon Palace, casting soft golden light across the quiet halls. Aditya, already dressed in a simple black robe, walked silently through the corridor.

There was a small smile on his face.

He even greeted some of the servants as he walked through the corridor.

"It looks like His Majesty is in a good mood today!" One of the maids whispered to another as they peeked from behind a pillar. They were watching their Emperor walk past with a brighter-than-usual smile.

Normally, the Emperor wasn't gloomy or sad. In fact, he always carried a calm and composed expression paired with his faint but gentle smile. It was a smile that somehow made everyone feel at ease.

But today, that usual smile seemed a little wider and warmer.

Even his steps felt lighter.

His aura radiated with an unusual softness and brightness.

It wasn't something easy to describe, but everyone around him could feel it.

It was like the Dragon Monarch was quietly glowing with happiness, and the whole palace felt a little more peaceful because of it.

"I wonder what made Our King this happy!" - Said the Second maid.

"Who knows?"

"But it's good to change Our Monarch this happy."

Aditya heard what the Maids were whispering. With his enhanced senses, he can very much hear any word that comes out of their mouth.

He wasn't offended by what they said. There was nothing to be offended about.

As no special reason why he was so happy this morning.

When he woke up this morning and glanced around, seeing the peaceful sleeping faces of his women, he realized just how fortunate he was.

Aditya felt grateful that he was living this kind of life.

There was still some time before breakfast, and the palace was mostly silent.

Aside from the maids preparing the dining table, no one else appears to have arrived in the living room.

Seeing this, he did not stop walking.

He walked through the living room and headed towards Lara's room with unhurried steps.

After having an intense night session, she quietly returned to her room to get ready.

Lara hadn't completely moved to his bedroom. She spent the night in his bedroom before returning to hers very early in the morning. Sometimes, Aditya just teleports her to her bedroom.

He stopped before her door and gently knocked twice.

Knock! Knock!

"Who is it?" It was the familiar voice of Rose, Lara's zombie maid.

"It's me!" Aditya replied calmly.

The door opened slowly, and Rose stepped aside with a slight bow.

Her expression didn't change much, but she respectfully excused herself without needing to be told.

She seemed to know to give them privacy instinctively.

What Rose wanted was for Lady Lara to get pregnant with His Majesty's child. Intimacy between couples increases the love between them.

Inside, the bedroom was warm and clean, filled with soft morning light.

Lara stood by her dressing table. She wore a fresh, light-blue robe and was brushing her long silver hair.

When she turned and saw him, her face instantly lit up.

Though a shy blush crept across her cheeks.

"You're awake early!" Aditya said as he stepped behind her.

"Lara couldn't sleep much!"

"When did you wake up?"

He studied her face for a second before asking, "How are you feeling?"

At first, she hesitated. Then she lowered her gaze, her cheeks burning deeper red as she whispered,

"Lara's lower body still feels sore…"

Aditya chuckled softly under his breath before stepping behind her.

He gently wrapped his strong arms around her waist and pulled her close.

His chin rested lightly on her right shoulder, and his warm breath tickled her ear.

She didn't resist. Instead, she leaned back into his chest and closed her eyes, soaking in his warmth and the gentle firmness of his embrace.

"I'm sorry!"

"Was I too rough with my little wife?"

Lara's eyes fluttered open, her entire face turning scarlet.

"My sweet, adorable little wife who moans so cutely when she's being loved."

"Danna-sama…!" She felt like hiding her face. This was embarrassing. Even after all that had happened between them, she felt embarrassed.

Even after everything that happened between them, she still couldn't stop blushing like a lovestruck girl hearing her crush call her cute for the first time.

That was just who Lara was.

No matter how close they became or how much her body welcomed his touch, her heart still fluttered with that same innocent shyness.

She wasn't bold like some of the other women around him.

She wasn't used to teasing or being teased.

That kind of bold affection still made her feel overwhelmed like her emotions were running far ahead of her words.

That's what made her reactions so honest and so purely hers. Just one sweet word from Aditya made her cheeks glow.

Aditya gently nuzzled her neck while chuckling softly at her reaction. "You know… I've fought wars, commanded armies, and brought Empires to their knees, but making you blush might be my favorite accomplishment."

She bit her lower lip and tried to hide her smile.

But her heart was pounding so fast that she was sure he could hear it.

"Danna-sama,"

"Even though I'm healthy now, you still came here to give me your blood." She knew this was mainly the reason why he came to her bedroom. Every now and then, he would come to her bedroom to give her blood. Even if he goes somewhere for a lengthy duration, he still leaves a few containers of his blood for her to consume.

Since she started drinking his blood, Lara has been unable to drink the blood of any other person (female).

Aditya's blood was very flavorful and very rich. Compared to his, other blood felt very blended and trashy. These days, her body has even started reacting very strongly when she drinks normal blood.

"I do this out of love," Aditya replied without hesitation. His tone softened as his fingers brushed her cheek.

"It's not about whether you need it or not. It's about wanting to give you something from me."

Her throat tightened with emotion.

To a Vampire like her, blood was more than sustenance. It was the most intimate gesture of trust, affection, and connection. And he offered it willingly, without being asked.

"Lara love you, Danna-sama…"

"I know." He smiled and tilted her chin up gently. "And I love spoiling my little wife."

This time, she didn't protest.

She simply smiled, leaned forward, and pressed her lips gently to his.

Aditya sat down on the edge of her bed and gently pulled her along with him. Without saying anything, he made her sit on his lap, her back leaning against his chest.

His arms wrapped around her waist once again, holding her close.

Lara didn't resist.

Her cheeks were flushed, her heart racing, but she quietly rested her hands on his arms.

"You can drink as much as you want!" He then tilted his head slightly and exposed the side of his neck for her.

"I'm all yours, little wife."

Lara nodded shyly. Slowly, she leaned forward.

She sank her fangs into his neck.

As his blood flowed into her mouth, her body trembled slightly from the overwhelming taste. His blood was rich, warm, and intoxicating. It was more addictive than anything in this world.

It was similar to drinking wine, except no one in this world could taste this good.

Once she was done, she rested her back against his chest. Aditya gently played with a strand of her hair.

"I heard that you want to open a café." He first heard this from Watson.

Lara turned her head slightly. She was surprised that Aditya knew. She planned to keep this from Aditya and eventually invite him to her cafe once everything was ready. "Eh? Danna-sama heard that?"

Aditya nodded with a small smile. "Watson mentioned it briefly the other day. I didn't get the chance to ask you about it until now."

"Yes… Lara has always loved cooking, but back then, Lara's body wasn't strong enough to do anything. But now… Now that Lara no longer has to worry about falling sick all the time or being bedridden, Lara can finally think about doing other things, too."

"Did you want to surprise me?" This might explain why she didn't tell him about this.

"Lara had a similar intention, but Lara also knew you would eventually find you."

She explained why she decided to open a cafe. "Running a café will give Lara experience. Something meaningful to do with her time. It'll also give Lara the perfect excuse to practice more and try different recipes. Maybe Lara could even ask Sister Sasha or Clara to help sometimes… It sounds like fun, right?"

Aditya smiled and gently tightened his arms around her waist.

He rested his chin on her shoulder. "Then do it. I've already told Watson to provide you with as much money as you need. If you want, you could even open an entire chain of cafés across the Continent or even across all Six Continents."

Lara quickly shook her head. "No… Lara doesn't need that much. One café is enough." It wasn't like she was doing this for money. Money was just a small motivation

"Lara wants to open just one, in a quiet, beautiful place where she can serve tea and food to people."

"Running a café is perfect for Lara!"

"Lara doesn't really have much to do aside from training and reading these days. And sometimes, Lara wants something more peaceful to fill her time." This made sense. Almost every one of his women did something.

Julia worked in her laboratory.

Alicia had her businesses to manage and look after.

Riya healed people in her Empire.

Sasha worked as an Assassin.

Even the lazy Lilith worked as a part-time Teacher because she was bored.

Everyone did something. Seeing all this, Lara also wanted to do something of her own.

"Well, as long you're happy, you have my full support."

Lara smiled sweetly. "Lara wants to become the best cook in the world… And then, Lara will cook for her Danna-sama every day."

Aditya couldn't help but chuckle softly before leaning in to place a kiss on her cheek. "Then I'll be waiting eagerly for your meals, Chef Lara."

----------------

Really Thank you very much to all those who send support with valuable golden tickets and gifts. I hope we can keep it up!!!

Yeah, I am back! Last time, I apologized and then disappeared.

To be honest, life has been really tough for me. I don't want to go too deep, but I am busy with all sorts of stuff. But no worries, I am back (Hopefully).
