Chapter 123 Situ Yan Kidnapped!
In the rare afternoon half-day off, Situ Yan originally planned to go home and have a good sleep, but she tossed and turned, unable to do so.
People who are used to being busy often feel uneasy when they suddenly have free time.
Especially when she forced herself not to think about Jiang Feng, yet the more she tried, the more she couldn't help but think of him, resulting in her becoming irritated, her hair a complete mess.
Seeing that it was almost evening outside, and realizing she was out of groceries at home, Situ Yan got up in anger and set out to buy some.
Driving to a nearby market, she absentmindedly bought a few easy-to-cook vegetables and was about to head back when suddenly two sharp-eyed figures appeared in the crowd!
Despite the noisy, bustling market, the presence of these two people immediately caught Situ Yan's attention!
Because their aura was different, they exuded a dangerous vibe!
They walked silently with flat fists, clearly not ordinary people!
More importantly, their overly tanned skin didn't match that of Chinese people!
The two men walked straight toward Situ Yan, with one speaking in broken Chinese and expressionlessly asking, "Are you Situ Yan?"
"Who are you?" The fact that they were clearly after her caused a surge of unease in Situ Yan.
"Come with us," the other man spoke, his tone carrying a hint of threat.
Situ Yan sneered, "And if I refuse?"
"You have no choice; don't force us to spill blood here!" With that, both men pulled out handguns from their coats.
Situ Yan immediately recognized them as Myanmar-made MA-5 handguns, with a magazine capacity of 17 rounds, an effective shooting range of 50 meters, and highly lethal!
If the two men recklessly opened fire in the crowded market, the consequences would be dire, with casualties easily reaching double digits.
"You're from Myanmar?" Situ Yan quickly deduced their identity!
"Not planning to cooperate? You'll regret it," one of them hooked the trigger of the MA-5.
"Don't shoot! I'll go with you!" Situ Yan said decisively. As a female action officer, she couldn't stand by and watch ordinary civilians be endangered.
"Good," the man sneered, temporarily putting the MA-5 away, a sinister smile on his face.
In front of countless onlookers, Situ Yan had no choice but to submit, being held by the two men from Myanmar on either side as they strode away.
The fresh vegetables she just bought fell all over the ground.
...
All the way, Situ Yan was contemplating how to escape and turn the situation around, but the two men restraining her left her no opportunity.
Situ Yan knew well that with her hate-for-evil spirit, falling into their hands meant trouble, yet she couldn't find a way to break free!
Taking advantage of a moment of inattention, Situ Yan quietly took out her phone, trying to send a blind text to Jiang Feng with her hands behind her back, but before it appeared, the man on her left noticed it sharply and disdainfully snatched it away, sneering, "I warn you, behave yourself, or you'll know the consequences!"
With no other options, Situ Yan was escorted out of the market by the two men from Myanmar and brought to a very ordinary, dilapidated Santana car.
Behind the Santana was another black Nissan with peeling paint, which would have gone unnoticed by Situ Yan if she hadn't been brought here.
"Get in!" One of the men from Myanmar forcefully pushed Situ Yan towards the Santana.
Situ Yan was furious, wanting instinctively to resist now that there were no bystanders nearby, but behind her, two MA-5 guns were already aimed at her!
Just then, two more people got out of the Santana, carrying nylon ropes and tape, and they tied Situ Yan's arms and legs together despite her violent struggles.
"I'm an action officer from the Chinese action department, do you know what this means?" The usually fearless Situ Yan now felt a nameless fear and shouted in a bravado-laden voice.
Before she finished speaking, tape was slapped over her mouth, sealing her screams, and then the two men dragged her into the car, driving the Santana away.
The two men from Myanmar with MA-5s got into the Nissan behind and slowly followed.
...
Twenty minutes later, the Santana and Nissan drove into the South City Suburb and stopped in front of an abandoned warehouse, where Situ Yan was taken inside.
As the door closed behind her, Situ Yan became even more fearful, seeing clearly that there were many more people inside the warehouse, all looking fierce and malicious!
Stumbling forward after being pushed, the tape over Situ Yan's mouth was torn off.
"Who are you, and why have you brought me here?" Situ Yan asked, trying to bolster her courage.
"Hello, beautiful officer,"
came a sinister voice from a small room inside the warehouse.
A young man with blue-dyed hair, covered in tattoos, and dark-skinned stepped out of that room, walking briskly.
Situ Yan's pupils narrowed; she knew this man was the leader of this group, and his facial features looked somewhat familiar...
"Do I look familiar? It's simple; it's because you caught my brother before." The young man, Tasha, said with a cold smile as he walked up to Situ Yan.
"You're Talai's brother?" Situ Yan was surprised to hear that.
"Yes," Tasha nodded with a smile, speaking in his rough Chinese, "Beautiful officer, although my brother is useless, it wasn't your place to catch him; I can discipline my brother myself!"
"You foreigners dare to retaliate after coming to China and trafficking illegal goods?" Situ Yan retorted angrily, "Your brother was privately trafficking banned substances; shouldn't he be arrested?"
"Oh, beautiful officer, you seem quite angry," Tasha smiled. "I brought you here not to listen to you yell at me! Let's make a deal; I'll take off your clothes and take some photos, then you entertain me; that way, I won't make things hard for you."
"After that, I'll let you go back; as long as you find a way to release my brother, those photos will return to you as if nothing happened between us."
"Otherwise, I'll post the photos and our happy videos online. You're so charming; I'm sure the consequences will be what you foresee," Tasha said evilly, pinching Situ Yan's fair and delicate chin threateningly.
"Dream on! Even if you kill me today, your brother will never get out; not only will he serve time in China, but he might also get shot!" Situ Yan shook her head fiercely, resolutely refusing.
"Beautiful officer, you're forcing my hand," Tasha sneered, pointing a gun at Situ Yan's forehead.
