Dragon Ball:Vados is my Wife

Chapter 110: Chapter 110: Roh

Either sleeping all day or on the way to sleep.

If we seriously examine the time each planet has spent in the struggle for survival, it would likely amount to less than one ten-thousandth of their total sleeping time.

"What Lord Kahn said is absolutely right! Thank you for your great wisdom, Lord Kahn!"

Beerus shivered.

"Lord Beerus, I have reminded you more than once not to focus solely on sleeping all day. Now, even Lord Zeno himself cannot tolerate it anymore," Whis shook his head, looking helpless.

Beerus: "..."

Right now, Beerus didn't dare to refute a single word.

It wasn't hard to imagine—if Kahn hadn't fought for their one and only chance in front of Zeno, Beerus might have been erased along with Universe 7 by now.

Would he still be living so comfortably then?

"When the Tournament of Power is over and I officially take office as the Grand God of Destruction, all of you lazy and inactive Gods of Destruction will be dealt with accordingly.

"Your days of ease are over."

Kahn's cold tone sent another shiver down Beerus' spine.

If you're tired of living, then go ahead and perish, but don't drag an entire universe with billions of innocent lives down with you.

"Enough about this for now. Let's select our participants for the upcoming tournament."

Kahn wasn't in the mood to list all of Beerus' failings—he would settle those accounts once and for all when he took the position of Grand God of Destruction.

The most pressing issue now was the Universal Tournament.

Kahn had no intention of participating himself. For those three mutts from Universe 9, it was enough to send a few competent fighters and be done with it.

"A tournament?"

Only now did Beerus dare to raise his head and suggest, "How about not letting Son Goku and the others participate?"

Beerus was too afraid to suggest Kahn participate, nor did he even know if Kahn was willing to.

"That works. The three Saiyans are perfect for this. They've been training here for a long time—it's about time they test their results."

Whis agreed with Beerus' proposal.

"Heh, so it's finally our turn?"

The three Saiyans stepped forward.

Compared to before their training, the aura they now emitted was completely different.

Even Goku—who, in the original timeline, trained on Beerus' planet for two years—was no longer the same Goku.

Gone was the scholarly air around Gohan; now, he carried the presence of a true Saiyan warrior.

After observing Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, Kahn nodded. "Alright, they'll do."

Winning or losing the tournament wasn't the priority—the real goal was ensuring Zeno was entertained.

That said, Son Goku, Vegeta, and Son Gohan were all Saiyans, meaning they naturally had a wild and unpredictable fighting style. With their current strength, winning wouldn't be an issue, even if they fought recklessly.

After all, their opponents were merely the "Trio of Danger" from Universe 9.

Let Goku and the others deal with them casually.

"Lord Kahn, who will be our opponents this time?"

After confirming Universe 7's fighters for the tournament, Whis inquired.

"According to the Grand Priest, the tournament will be a martial arts battle between Universe 7 and Universe 9's representatives."

Vados smiled gently, her eyes narrowing slightly.

"Universe 9, huh?" Gohan mused. "I wonder how strong their fighters are."

"Hmph!"

Vegeta crossed his arms confidently. "It doesn't matter who they are—I'll crush them."

"Brother Kahn, what do you think? How should we approach this fight?"

For once, Goku took a cautious approach, aware that the fate of the entire Universe 7 was on the line.

Fighting was important, but he wasn't about to risk his entire universe for the sake of it.

"Just like I told Vegeta—don't take it too seriously at first. Play along until Zeno is entertained, then finish it."

"Understood!"

Gohan quickly caught on. "Uncle Kahn means this tournament is more of a performance, right?"

Kahn smiled and nodded. "Nephew Gohan, as expected, your comprehension is excellent."

"Ah! So that's how it is," Goku finally realized.

"Performance or not, we cannot afford to lose. At the very least, we can't embarrass ourselves in front of Lord Zeno—do you hear me?!"

Beerus, frothing with worry, gave a stern warning.

"Of course, Lord Beerus," Goku scratched his head, then grinned excitedly. "Man, it's been a while since I've had a real fight—I'm looking forward to this tournament!"

"Then, let's go meet the Supreme Kai now."

Without further delay, Kahn and his group traveled from Beerus' planet to the Sacred World of the Kais.

After gathering Elder Kai and Shin, Kahn's party of nine descended to Zeno's Palace.

"Wow, so this is where the most powerful god in the universe lives? It's spectacular!"

Goku and the others looked around in awe.

"Hey, Goku, when we meet Lord Zeno, you'd better keep your mouth shut. If you say something wrong, Lord Zeno might erase you on the spot—understand?"

"Got it, Lord Beerus."

Goku nodded reluctantly but straightened up, shedding his usual carefree attitude.

"Alright, let's go in."

Led by Kahn and Vados, the group of nine entered Zeno's Palace.

The grand hallway was lined with tall stone pillars, leading down an expansive passageway.

The atmosphere was eerily silent, and the only sound was the rhythmic tapping of their footsteps.

Suddenly—

Several figures appeared ahead, blocking their path.

It was the Ninth Universe's Gods of Destruction, Sidra; his Angel, Mojito; Supreme Kai, Roh; and their three fighters—the "Trio of Danger."

Or rather, the "Husky Trio."

The eldest, Bergamo, stood in the center, flanked by his younger brothers, Lavender and Basil.

All three wore arrogant expressions, looking down on Kahn's group as if they were insignificant.

Shin took a step forward and greeted them. "It's been a while, everyone from Universe 9."

"Ohhh…"

Supreme Kai Roh sneered, then mocked, "So these are the warriors of Universe 7? They don't look very impressive."

Smack!

Before he could say another word, Sidra slapped him across the back of the head.

Roh was stunned. "Lord Sidra, why did you—?"

But when he saw Sidra's expression, he immediately broke into a cold sweat.

Sidra's eyes were sharp, and his tone was frigid. "Roh, correct your attitude when addressing the future Grand God of Destruction, Lord Kahn. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to replace the Supreme Kai of Universe 9—starting with you!"

"W-What?!"

Roh was instantly petrified.

His gaze shifted toward Kahn—who wasn't just some random fighter, but the one standing at the forefront of Universe 7.

When he met Kahn's emotionless, ice-cold stare, he instinctively recoiled.

"Apologize to Lord Kahn."

Sidra's command was absolute.

"Y-Yes… I deeply apologize, Lord Kahn! Please forgive my earlier offense!"

Roh bowed his head in submission, his arrogance shattered in an instant.
