Dragon Ball: West City High Schooler, Captures 18!

Chapter 99

When it came to the bond between Vados and Aishi, Champa had no objections whatsoever!

In fact, he was secretly delighted—finally, someone else would have to deal with Vados' venomous tongue instead of him!

Then, Vados gently raised her hand, and a formless wave of angelic power appeared in her palm…

She looked at Aishi. "Catch."

Aishi quickly raised his hand, and the next moment, he felt something new settle within him.

"Huh?" A confused look spread across Aishi's face. Before he could ask what it was, the angelic energy had already fully merged into his body.

On the side, Champa was visibly shocked. "Vados, did you just give him your angelic source!?"

Angelic source?!

Aishi turned to him. "What's that?"

Instead of answering directly, Champa looked at Aishi with a complicated expression. "Aishi, do you know why, when a God of Destruction dies, the angel only goes offline instead of dying with them?"

Aishi blinked. "Why?"

Champa spoke solemnly, "Because it's just a verbal contract. But this—what Vados just gave you—is like handing over her heart!"

Aishi's face changed slightly as he instinctively tried to sever the bond, but Vados chuckled lightly.

"I have high hopes for you, Aishi. Don't let me down."

Aishi nodded deeply. "I understand!"

Vados stepped closer and gently patted his head. "Don't look so serious. Try sensing what's new inside you."

Something new?

Aishi focused inward—and in that moment, his eyes lit up.

He immediately turned to Vados.

He could now sense traces of angelic energy inside his body…

Not only could he wield a small portion of Vados' angelic power, but he could also summon or teleport to her at will.

And most importantly… if he died, Vados would die too!

It wasn't just going offline—she would truly die!

Knowing that being a God of Time Destruction was the most dangerous position in existence… she still chose to bind herself to him?

Aishi fell silent.

Though part of Vados' motive might be investing in someone she believed in… this act alone was something Aishi would remember forever.

After a while, Aishi looked up at her with determination. "I'll never let you down."

Vados nodded. "I believe in you."

Aishi smiled. "I'm planning to head out for a bit…"

Vados looked puzzled. "Out? Where to?"

Aishi explained everything about the masked man he encountered on Earth—and also asked Vados what this "strange world line" meant.

When he finished, both Champa and Vados looked utterly stunned.

Champa gasped. "Aishi, you're not joking?"

Aishi shook his head. "Not at all."

Vados' brows furrowed as her tone turned serious. "If that masked man really has such abilities… then he's no ordinary threat. As for his mention of a 'strange world line,' even I don't quite understand it."

"You don't?" Aishi frowned. He had hoped she might shed some light.

Vados calmly elaborated, "I just don't understand what he means by it. There are many world lines, but there's no such thing as 'normal' or 'abnormal.'"

"I think when he says 'strange,' he simply means it doesn't match his expectations—maybe it deviates too much from the world lines he's seen before."

Aishi nodded slightly.

That explanation actually made sense.

That masked man probably called this timeline "strange" because the parallel worlds he knew… didn't have this many monsters!

Judging by his killing intent, that guy was undoubtedly someone who had spent a long time wreaking havoc across the multiverse, throwing timelines into chaos.

Aishi suddenly thought of Zamasu, narrowing his eyes.

Could that guy be… Zamasu?

Vados watched him and then spoke up. "Aishi, if you're worried, we can ask my sister. I think she might know more about beings like that."

"Sister?" Aishi blinked.

Vados smiled. "Kusu."

Ah—Kusu. The eldest daughter of the Angel Race, also known as the Great Angel of the Grand Chronology.

Just as Aishi was contemplating this, Champa's eyes suddenly lit up.

"Hey! Aishi, you just became the God of Time Destruction, right? That means you can visit the others!"

"Visit?" Aishi asked.

Champa nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! You probably don't know this, but the God of Time Destruction technically ranks above all the Gods of Destruction in every universe. Even angels have to yield!"

"They have to call you with respect: 'Time Destruction-sama'!"

Aishi was stunned. Gods of Destruction, sure—but even angels?

Vados saw his surprise and smiled. "That's because the God of Time Destruction typically never appears. But if one does—it's a matter of cosmic importance."

"Gods of Destruction want to survive… and angels don't want to go offline."

"So yes—the emergence of a Time Destruction God is a very big deal."

Aishi finally understood and nodded solemnly.

"Alright then—let's go pay them a visit."

Vados nodded, and Champa smirked gleefully, already imagining the horrified expressions on the other Gods.

Just as Aishi and Vados were about to depart—

The space around them suddenly cracked with a loud boom!

A petite figure stepped out of the spatial rift—

Chronoa!

The three of them turned their heads simultaneously.

Chronoa glanced around and fixed her eyes on Aishi, puffing her cheeks. "Why didn't you wait for me!?"

"I had to search everywhere!"

Aishi scratched his head, embarrassed. "I forgot…"

Chronoa's face darkened. "Is my presence really that unnoticeable?"

Aishi quickly denied it. "No! I was just really busy."

Chronoa sighed. "Fine."

She wasn't going to let go of this one Time Destruction God that easily!

Meanwhile, both Champa and Vados were stunned.

Champa exclaimed, "The Supreme Kai of Time?!"

Vados narrowed her eyes, studying the two of them carefully.

Chronoa quickly turned around and greeted them. "Nice to meet you, Angel and God of Destruction of Universe 6."

They nodded. "Nice to meet you."

Unlike regular Supreme Kais, the Supreme Kai of Time didn't answer to a God of Destruction or Angel. Her only superior was the Zeno himself.

So Chronoa just offered a quick greeting before turning back to Aishi.

After Aishi explained everything again, Chronoa's expression turned stormy.

"That guy again?!"

Aishi raised an eyebrow. "You know him?"

Chronoa clenched her teeth. "Even if he were turned to dust, I'd recognize him!"

"That guy's been leaping between timelines, hunting down Goku and the gods. He's already destroyed hundreds of parallel worlds!"

Hundreds?!

Champa's eyes bulged. "You're not serious…"

Aishi was also shocked. Hundreds?! That's insanity!

How many universes did he already throw into chaos?

Vados narrowed her eyes. "This threat… is no small matter."

Chronoa nodded angrily. "Exactly! And he's not just strong—he's slippery too. Even the Time Patrol can't catch him!"

"Time Patrol?" Aishi raised an eyebrow. "You already formed one?"

Chronoa nodded. "Yeah. I gathered several warriors under my command to form a response unit."

Her tone dimmed. "I finally managed to recruit one very capable warrior… Son Gohan. But during a mission… that wretched masked man killed him."

"…He killed Gohan?" Aishi's eyes hardened.

Chronoa nodded, voice heavy. "Yes. By the time Goku and the others arrived… it was too late."

The group went silent.

They were all familiar with Gohan—he was Aishi's disciple.

Chronoa looked grief-stricken. "He suffered so much already. In his timeline, all his loved ones were dead. He stood up all alone, trained to immense power, and joined the patrol… only to be killed just like that."

None of them spoke.

Chronoa took a deep breath and looked at Aishi with solemnity. "That's why I kept pleading with Zeno-sama… and finally, I found you."

Aishi nodded, eyes calm. "I understand."

Off to the side, Champa trembled as a chill ran down his spine.

What… what kind of situation had Aishi just walked into?

He turned to Chronoa. "Let me ask—how does he kill gods? Has he killed all 12 Gods of Destruction?"

If that were the case, he was doomed!

He could understand dying himself—but even someone like Beerus being killed?

Chronoa thought for a moment. "I'm not sure of the full details, but Goku and the others once mentioned that… in one particular timeline, every Supreme Kai, Kaioshin, and God of Destruction across all 12 universes was killed."

"And the angels… all went offline."

What the hell?!

Champa's expression completely collapsed. He stammered, "E-every one of them?!"

Chronoa nodded solemnly. "Yes. It's real. That bastard doesn't act alone—he has ten squads!"

Ten teams?!

Champa's vision darkened, almost fainting on the spot.

"This terrifying freak… and there's more than one of him?!"

Chronoa nodded gravely. "Yes."

Champa paled, and then asked the most obvious question: "If things are that bad… why hasn't the Grand Priest done anything?!"

Chronoa shook her head. "He hasn't."

"Why not?!"

She didn't have an answer.

If the Grand Priest had taken action, things wouldn't have gotten this out of hand!

He could've crushed them all with a wave of his hand!

Aishi remained silent. Back at Zeno's palace, the Grand Priest had told him: "Leave it to the specialists."

In other words—stay in your lane.

But Aishi thought that was nonsense.

The Grand Priest wasn't doing anything simply because it hadn't reached his doorstep yet.

So what if a few Supreme Kais and Gods of Destruction were dying?

His angels would just go offline—and new replacements would show up anyway.

Which was precisely why… the God of Time Destruction held such incredible importance.
