Chapter 36: Chapter 36
The next morning.
Aishi got up early to make breakfast.
Yesterday's intense battle with No.18 had ultimately ended with him using some mysterious technique...
He beat No.18 so badly that she couldn't fight back.
All she could do was take the hits!
Critical strikes, attack speed, Charm Hand, and Strong Kidney Technique!
These four combo techniques—
Even someone with infinite energy like No.18 ended up begging for mercy.
"Tap tap tap…!"
At that moment, the sound of footsteps echoed from the staircase.
Aishi looked in the direction of the sound.
To his surprise, it was No.18.
Aishi raised a brow. "Not sleeping in a bit longer?"
No.18 rolled her eyes. "Look at the time—who's still sleeping?"
"I'm not some lazy pig!"
Aishi grinned. "You begged so long yesterday—don't you need some recovery?"
As soon as those words left his mouth—
No.18's pretty face visibly flushed, becoming even more seductive.
She snorted coldly.
"That's your fault… who told you to use underhanded tricks?"
"How else would I have lost to you?"
Just thinking about it made her irritated.
Things had been going fine between them.
But ever since she started teasing Aishi, she hadn't won even once!
Not a single time!
She couldn't even hold back her voice anymore!
No.18 sighed. "Sigh, with how loud we were, I bet No.21 heard everything."
"She's usually up by now."
Aishi chuckled. "Then let her hear. What's the problem? Come eat breakfast."
No.18 glared at Aishi's 'shameless' expression.
Her temper flared again.
She stomped over to him. "Eat what? Go wake No.21!"
"So not cute!"
Aishi laughed and stood up, pinching No.18's cheek.
"Get off!"
No.18 swatted his hand away in a mix of embarrassment and anger.
"Oh?"
Aishi raised a brow. "Looks like I was too gentle yesterday…"
No.18: "..."
Just then—
Another set of footsteps came from the staircase.
The two looked over.
No.21 was slowly descending the stairs.
Upon seeing the two of them—
Her face turned slightly red on its own.
But she quickly composed herself.
"G-Good morning."
She tried to act calm and indifferent.
No.18 gave an awkward smile. "Morning. I was just about to go call you."
Aishi looked at No.21 and couldn't help but wonder.
She looks... drained?
…
At the dining table, the three remained silent in an eerie stillness.
The air was heavy.
Finally, Aishi broke the silence. "I might be heading out for a while."
As soon as he said it—
Both No.18 and No.21 looked up at him.
No.18 asked with concern, "What's going on?"
Aishi smiled lightly. "Nothing big. Just heading out for some training."
No.18's face showed worry. "Why? You're already super strong."
Aishi shook his head. "My strength has been stagnant for too long…"
"That can't continue. There are even stronger beings in the future. I need to prepare ahead of time."
Hearing this, No.21 frowned. "Master, aren't you overthinking it a bit?"
It made sense for her to get stronger—she was weak and needed the improvement.
But Aishi?
Even Super Saiyan 3 Gogeta barely managed to fight him to a draw…
Who in the universe could possibly beat him?
Aishi smiled. "Not really. The power levels are constantly updating like a new patch—I can't afford to stand still."
"Look at you and Gohan, you're both improving every day."
"Uh…"
No.21 was speechless.
That was true.
No.18 thought for a moment and then nodded seriously. "Then you must be careful."
Aishi smiled. "Don't worry. You know me, don't you?"
After breakfast—
Aishi wasted no time and immediately departed for Planet Vampa.
Over the past month—
He hadn't been idle.
Through insane training, his Gogeta template progress had risen another 5%.
It had now reached 70%.
His power level shot up another 10 quintillion—from 30 to 40 quintillion.
He realized—
At this point in the template progression, most of the skill unlocks and transformations were nearly complete.
What was left was pure power boost.
…
South Galaxy.
Planet Vampa.
—Swoosh!
A man appeared on a towering mountain, standing tall, exuding a mysterious, overwhelming presence full of power.
It was Aishi.
He looked around, taking in the surroundings.
All he could see was wasteland. Everywhere he looked—
Craters, ruined structures, shattered meteorites embedded deep into the soil.
"Whooo!!"
A violent wind swept by, blowing Aishi's hair backward.
But his expression remained unchanged—calm and steady.
In the distance—
A ferocious sandstorm whipped up, tearing through the ground and changing the landscape.
Thunder roared above. The sky was dark and ominous, covered in black clouds that occasionally flashed with thick bolts of lightning!
—Boom!
The apocalyptic sight was overwhelming.
Even Aishi couldn't help but sigh.
Good thing it was Broly who lived here—only he had the willpower to survive in such a place.
If it were him, he'd be looking for an escape route every minute.
At that moment—
A figure came speeding through the sky.
Fast. Rushing.
As if afraid to miss the chance.
Aishi looked up.
It was a disheveled old man.
Paragus.
Broly's father.
He hadn't suppressed his energy at all.
So Paragus was able to find him quickly.
—Shwoosh!
Paragus came to a sudden halt in front of Aishi.
Eyes wide with excitement.
Someone had come!
Someone finally came!
Paragus's face was ecstatic. "You… who are you?"
"Aishi."
Aishi said calmly.
"Aishi…"
Paragus repeated the name a few times but didn't recall anyone like that.
He asked, "Where are you from?"
"Earth."
"Earth?"
Paragus frowned. What kind of planet was that?
He'd never heard of it.
But he didn't dwell on it.
Instead, he eagerly asked, "Doesn't matter. Did you come here on a spaceship?"
"Nope. I don't have a spaceship."
Aishi answered.
Paragus froze, forcing a smile. "You're joking, right?"
"Nope."
Aishi said calmly.
Paragus's expression immediately darkened, as if he'd just swallowed a bug.
"No spaceship…"
He muttered, scanning around nervously.
Sure enough—nothing in sight.
The hope that had briefly flared in his heart was snuffed out instantly.
Paragus narrowed his eyes. "Then how did you get here?"
"I just came because I wanted to."
Paragus: "..."
His face turned completely black, like scorched charcoal.
He felt like he was being messed with.
No spaceship—how could anyone arrive here?
But he didn't dare lash out.
This was the first outsider he'd seen in decades…
