Dragon Ball- Vegata Future Rewritten By Inner Voice

Chapter 44 Another Super Saiyan

In the City

Three unusual figures stepped into view, catching the attention of the humans nearby.

A plump, pink creature with childlike eyes and an insatiable hunger. A gnarled little wizard radiating menace. And a towering brute, silent but exuding raw, explosive power.

Majin Buu, ever whining about being hungry, instantly locked eyes on a nearby candy shop. His face lit up like a kid on their birthday, and he zoomed forward in a blur, crashing into the store.

"AHHHH!!"

Terrified screams rang out as every customer inside scrambled for the exits, fleeing from the bizarre pink monster.

Only one shop clerk stayed behind, likely frozen more by duty than courage.

She hesitated, then gingerly tapped the creature's back. "Um, sir… you'll have to pay before-- "

Before she could finish, Majin Buu spun around and leaned in close, his wide, grinning face inches from hers. His grotesque, rubbery features robbed the clerk of her voice.

"Pay? What's that?" Buu growled, genuinely puzzled.

The clerk, her face pale as a ghost, stammered, "N-nothing…"

Her knees buckled, and she stumbled back, crawling toward the exit in panic.

Once she was gone, Majin Buu scratched his head in confusion… then promptly forgot about her. The colorful mountain of candy before him was all that mattered now. He opened his mouth, took a massive breath, and vacuumed the entire store's inventory straight into his belly. Wrappers and all.

Outside, Babidi watched the scene unfold, arms crossed, a frown tugging at his lips.

"This is the Majin Buu my father sealed away?" He muttered, clearly skeptical. "This thing's supposed to terrorize the entire universe?"

Despite Buu's terrifying ability to turn people into candy, he wasn't using it on anyone, he just wanted actual sweets.

"That won't do! If I'm going to rule the Earth, I've got to show these humans fear! Majin Buu! I command you, turn all the humans into candy!"

But Buu was too busy licking a jawbreaker the size of a grapefruit to even notice Babidi's shrieking. Babidi's face twitched with frustration. Humiliation crept in. His lips curled into a sneer as he turned to the mountain of muscle beside him.

"Broly! Wipe them out!"

Broly didn't speak. He simply glanced at Babidi, raising a single eyebrow. His lips tightened, clearly not fond of taking orders.

Babidi instinctively stepped back, muttering an incantation under his breath.

"Too loud," Broly finally said, voice low and ice-cold.

Then, without warning, he shot into the sky. A sphere of green energy flared to life in his palm, and in the next moment, it exploded into countless beams, like a meteor shower of death tearing through the city.

The screams of civilians echoed through the streets below.

Babidi, startled but pleased that Broly had acted, let out a wicked laugh. His confidence returned, and he hovered into the air, his voice amplified by sorcery.

"People of Earth! Listen well! I am the great wizard Babidi, your new master! My servants have just annihilated an entire city! If you wish to live, you'd better kneel like obedient dogs! But those with darkness in their hearts... you might just earn a spot at my side! Do you understand, Earthlings?!"

Backed by magic, Babidi's voice rang in the minds of every human on the planet, forcing itself past reason and disbelief.

Across the globe, people froze mid-step. Then panic erupted.

"What kind of sick prank is this?!"

"A wizard? Seriously?"

"The news... Z City might've actually been destroyed!"

Some dismissed it as a hoax, but others were already running, hiding, or worse… beginning to act. Within minutes, several individuals with dark hearts had already responded to Babidi's call.

They had seen Broly's devastating power firsthand, the city turned to ash in a matter of seconds.

Now, they bowed before Babidi as if he were a god, eager to surrender their will in exchange for power. In return, each of them was branded with a glowing M on their foreheads, the symbol of Babidi's control.

Their minds no longer their own, the corrupted humans unleashed chaos across multiple cities.

West City

A mob of Babidi's newly-enslaved followers descended on Capsule Corporation, their attacks wild and unrelenting. Normally, these people might have hesitated. But Babidi's dark magic had ripped away all restraint, turning even minor criminals into raging monsters.

Fortunately, Bulma had long since learned not to take peace for granted. Ever since the Androids wreaked havoc seven years ago, she had prepared for the worst.

In a rush, she triggered the Capsule Corp emergency defense protocol. A dome of shimmering energy surrounded the entire complex, humming with protective force.

"Oh, for crying out loud! What now?!" Bulma stared at the chaotic scenes on her monitors, shaking her head in disbelief.

Once again, Earth had plunged into crisis… and of course, it happened when all the Saiyans were off training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Her voice softened, eyes scanning the sky beyond the barrier. "Vegeta… where are you?"

The Courtyard

Nearby, the Pilaf Gang stood frozen, watching rioters tear up the streets.

"Did you guys hear that creepy voice say 'Babidi' just now?" Pilaf asked, frowning.

Both Mai and Shu nodded, visibly disturbed.

Pilaf clenched his tiny fists, his youthful face red with indignation. "Tch! Who does this Babidi think he is, talking about ruling the world right in front of me?! Me, Emperor Pilaf!"

"Hmph! We've been scheming to take over the world way before it was cool!"

Mai's eyes sparkled as she looked at him. "Pilaf Sama… It's been so long since I've seen you fired up like this!"

Suddenly, she shrieked.

Something had grabbed her ankle.

Looking down, she gasped in horror, a twisted, snarling face had burst out of a hole in the ground.

"Ahhh!! Pilaf Sama, help!!"

Before Pilaf could move, a figure shot down from the sky like a bolt of lightning. Bulla landed between Mai and the attacker, her stance confident and fierce.

"You creep! Don't you dare touch Mai!"

With a sharp battle cry, Bulla delivered a flying kick, sending the attacker crashing back underground. In an instant, a golden aura exploded around her, Super Saiyan energy flaring like wildfire.

Mai stood speechless, staring at Bulla's radiant form. Her once-dark hair now blazed gold, and her eyes shone with intensity.

This wasn't the cheerful girl who giggled at school events. This was a warrior.

"B-Bulla…?" Mai whispered.

A flush crept into her cheeks, equal parts awe and disbelief. Elsewhere, inside the protective dome, Bulma stared out a window, mouth agape.

"Wait... a Super Saiyan?! Since when can Bulla do that?!"

She'd always seen her daughter as more of a gentle soul. Not the type to follow in the footsteps of Trunks or Vegeta.

Bulma buried her face in her hands and sighed. "Great. Looks like both my kids inherited Vegeta's temper."

Still, a quiet, almost mischievous smile crept across her lips.
