c44: Kaio-Ken + Super Saiyan Blue
Seeing Goku lying on the ground, Hit didn't follow up with another blow. Instead, he looked calmly toward the referee.
"Hey, referee. What's the ruling here? No killing is allowed, right? But the opponent can't even surrender. So what's the verdict?" Hit asked, his tone cool and matter-of-fact.
"Ah, uh…" The referee was clearly unsure. He glanced at Son Goku's collapsed form, then back at Hit, hesitating on whether to call the match.
Hit took one last look at Goku and said, flatly, "It's over."
With that, he turned and began walking away.
"Wait… not so fast!!"
A deep voice echoed across the arena, halting everyone in their tracks.
"What?!" Hit spun around in shock, his sharp eyes wide.
He wasn't the only one stunned every face in the stands froze with disbelief.
Slowly, shakily, Goku stood up. Though his body trembled and his breathing was labored, it was undeniably him still conscious, still fighting.
With a small grin, Goku said, "Don't count me out just yet."
"You…?" Hit stared, stunned. It was unbelievable. Even Vegeta had been knocked out with just one full-powered strike, and that was while in his perfected Super Saiyan Blue state. But Goku had taken two of those attacks and still stood.
Goku inhaled deeply, grimacing. "I'll admit it… your power's no joke. I haven't felt danger like that in a long time." His voice was strained but filled with fighting spirit. "Your Time-Skip… predicting my own predictions? That's insane."
"But I'm not finished," Goku said, raising his fists. "I can still fight!"
Hit watched, unfazed, and asked evenly, "Why? Why push yourself like this? Is winning really that important?"
Goku shook his head. "No, that's not it. I just don't want to let you down."
"…Me?" Hit blinked, confused.
Goku grinned. "You've been looking for a worthy opponent for years, right? That's why I'm not backing down. I won't lose, not when this is just getting fun."
Hearing this, Hit closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them with a faint edge of respect. "You can barely stand. How do you expect to continue fighting?"
"I wasn't planning to use this so soon," Goku replied. "It's a move I've just recently mastered. Honestly, I wasn't sure I could control it in time."
Everyone's eyes widened at that statement.
"Wait, what did he say?" Krillin muttered in disbelief.
"He still has a hidden move?" Tien narrowed his eyes.
Vegeta scowled, jaw tightening. "No way… even I haven't seen this."
Luya, watching from the sidelines, smiled faintly but said nothing.
Goku clenched his fists, his breathing steadying.
"Alright. Now… I'll get serious."
Suddenly, a massive burst of energy erupted from Goku's body. His hair flared upward in a blazing azure flame Super Saiyan Blue at full power!
"Haah!!!"
His roar echoed throughout the arena.
But that wasn't all.
A second energy aura began layering over the first a faint crimson light weaving through the blue, pulsating rhythmically with his heart. The air around him distorted.
"This… is Super Saiyan Blue… combined with the Kaio-Ken technique!" Goku shouted.
Shockwaves rippled through the battlefield as the combined energy surged outward. Goku's body radiated with violent, godlike power, one forged by merging divine ki with the ancient King Kai's Kaio-Ken.
"This is insane…!" Krillin gasped.
"Combining Kaio-Ken with Super Saiyan Blue? That's crazy!" Piccolo exclaimed.
"That technique multiplies his strength and speed, but it also puts enormous strain on his body. Stacking it on top of Blue… it's like trying to contain a storm inside a glass jar," Whis explained calmly.
"Kaio-Ken… on top of Blue?" Hit muttered, surprised for the first time. "That's reckless."
"It's not about safety," Goku said, eyes blazing. "It's about pushing beyond limits. You made me stronger, Hit… now let me return the favor."
His muscles surged. His aura flashed bright. Goku had reached a new threshold Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-Ken.
Kaio-Ken Blue is extremely risky due to the stress on Goku's body, but he uses it against Hit's evolving Time-Skip (which increases from 0.1 to 0.5 seconds).
"How can this be...that form! Could it be?!" Vegeta's face contorted in disbelief from the stands. At last, he recalled the secret technique.
Kaio-Ken!
Kakarot's trump card: the legendary Kaio-Ken layered on Super Saiyan Blue!
"Ahhhhhh!!!" Goku roared, his ki flaring wildly as the crimson aura merged seamlessly with Super Saiyan Blue, intensifying without limit!
"Kakakaka!!"
The energy shattered the invisible barrier enveloping the arena!
"Impossible!" gasped Universe 6's delegates. "Power beyond Blue? What kind of form is that?" Even Lord Champa and Angel Vados recoiled in shock.
Champa wiped cold sweat from his brow, shouting urgently: "Hit!! Stop him before he completes that form!"
Hit's eyes flashed, he stared unwaveringly at Goku, contemplating his move.
"Quick! Defeat him!!" Champa barked again.
Hit didn't flinch; he observed Goku with a steely calm, then lowered his fist to strike.
"Hey! What are you doing?! Do you dare defy me?!" Champa erupted.
Hit ignored him entirely, nodding once to Goku: "Son Goku, you are formidable but I will surpass you."
"Ahhhhhh…" Goku's ki soared to chaos, and the arena trembled as structures began to crack.
Then, abruptly, Goku's crimson aura vanished Super Saiyan Blue shimmer disappeared leaving everyone stunned and energy readings flat.
But before confusion set in, Goku exploded again this time with a crushing burst of kaio-energized blue aura.
"Kaio-Ken!!!"
Whsh whsh whsh…
The display of raw power stunned every onlooker, including gods and angels, into breathless awe.
"This level of power... is terrifying," Hit conceded solemnly.
"It's my hidden trump card—Kaio-Ken!" Goku explained, voice wavering from exertion. "King Kai taught it to me long ago. But I avoided using it since it burdens the body severely. Seeing Luya wield his Kaio-Ken reminded me. Now, after two years of practice, I finally mastered it but it demands perfect harmony between ki and spirit! I'd planned to debut it against Lord Beerus… but now, I must use it here!"
Champa's expression darkened with fury: "What?! He plans to use it against me?"
Vados chuckled: "Lord Champa, afraid?"
He attempted composure: "Nonsense! He's bold, but naïve if he thinks he can challenge me."
Luya watched closely. He knew firsthand how Kaio-Ken doubles power but at tremendous cost.
Goku's base Blue form hovered around 1.64 trillion combat power. With Kaio-Ken x2, he surged to approximately 3.28 trillion!
Hit reeled at just 1.65 trillion Goku now surpassed him, though Hit's latent potential remained immense.
Champa frowned in curiosity: "If Goku commands such power, why reserve it until now?"
