Chapter 67: Chapter 67: The One Who Can Destroy Planets with a Single Finger
"Trust you?" Gaia sighed inwardly. What other choice did he have?
He collected himself and said: "I hope you'll do as you say and just take that person away. Please don't harm this planet or anyone living here."
Taro nodded. "Of course. I have no interest in causing trouble on someone else's planet."
"Then follow me."

With the help of Gaia, the local god of this planet, combined with Taro's immense personal strength and ability to teleport, they successfully extracted a peculiar individual from the Federation's maximum-security prison within two days.
The individual, a rat-like figure named Fabeli, was now onboard a spaceship that, after over a month of preparation, had quietly slipped past planetary satellites and escaped the atmosphere without drawing attention.
Inside the ship, Taro observed his reluctant companion, Fabeli, who stood by the observation window staring at the shrinking planet they had left behind.
Taro approached him. "Now that we've left, care to explain what happened? What made a brilliant scientist like you turn into a so-called madman? Why have you been causing chaos and, more specifically, sabotaging the Federation's interstellar spaceship project?"
Fabeli remained silent for a moment. Then, after one last glance at the planet growing smaller in the distance, he turned and walked away, his tone dismissive. "Those idiots are asking for death. If we're all going to die anyway, why shouldn't I do whatever I want?" He rolled his eyes.
"Why do you say they're asking for death?"
"Heh heh heh..." He stopped at the door to the next chamber, his back to Taro, and let out an eerie laugh. Lowering his head, his face twisted into a crazed expression, as if recalling something terrifying.
"Beep."
The automatic door slid open, and the Rat-like Scientist stepped inside. Taro, however, was already there, walking alongside him deeper into the ship.
As they moved through the corridor, seven brightly colored birds fluttered toward Taro, chirping as they circled him. Taro had left these creatures hovering over the planet earlier, ensuring they could join him when the ship departed.
Seeing this, Fabeli sneered. "If you want me to talk, I'll have to start with my covert extraterrestrial exploration program... A long time ago, I became deeply interested in the wider universe. Over the years, I built wave after wave of microscopic exploration robots, launching them in all directions into the cosmos, hoping they'd discover something fascinating—alien life, advanced civilizations, that sort of thing."
"And?" Taro prompted, listening intently.
The scientist, navigating the ship as if it were his own, smirked coldly. His expression grew uneasy as he licked his parched lips. "Then... one night a few years ago, one of the robots transmitted back a video. In that video, I saw a civilization whose technology was comparable to ours."
"But the video didn't just show their civilization. It also revealed... a group of destroyers!"
His voice trembled as he continued. "These were beings from space, dressed in strange, uniform-like outfits. They descended from the sky, flying without any tools—just like you! Their appearances were vastly different, most of them terrifyingly grotesque. But every single one of them wielded unimaginable power! With casual gestures, they unleashed energy waves capable of obliterating entire cities! Within mere minutes, the planet's surface, its cities, its landmarks, everything... was reduced to rubble."
"And the scariest part wasn't even those beings. It was their leaders—the two at the front..."
As he spoke, his face contorted with sheer terror. "Those two simply let their subordinates wreak havoc. They floated high above the destruction, watching as if it were a spectacle. But then, it seemed the planet's civilization issued some kind of declaration of hostility against them. Heh... it's not hard to guess. Probably something like a 'final warning.'"
"Well, that really angered those two," the scientist continued. "And then... all those destructive subordinates, the ones in the strange uniforms, stopped their rampage. They returned to their spaceship and left in a hurry, leaving only the two leaders behind.
"But those two… even as the sky was filled with targeted missile bombardments, they were completely unharmed. Not only that, they were casually joking with each other the whole time."
Fabeli paused dramatically, then leaned forward with a crazed glint in his eyes. "And then... one of them raised a finger and pointed at the planet's surface!"
"Just a single finger!" he exclaimed, waving his arms wildly for emphasis. "At his fingertip, an unimaginable energy orb formed. In the blink of an eye, it turned into a terrifying energy beam and then…"
He clapped his hands together with a loud "Boom!"
"The planet exploded!" His eyes gleamed with insanity as he burst into hysterical laughter. "Ha ha ha! Can you believe it? The whole planet! Gone! Reduced to nothing but cosmic debris! Rubble floating in space! All because one person… pointed at it! Isn't that hilarious? One finger, boom, and a whole planet's history is wiped out! Ha ha ha... Oh, it's too much..."
"I see." Taro said calmly, nodding as if such devastation were a mundane detail.
"And now you ask me why I sabotaged their stupid interstellar spaceship project?" Fabeli sneered. "Ha! Interstellar spaceship? Pfft! A pile of outdated junk I mastered years ago, and they're still so smug about it! Exploring outer space? What a joke! They're begging for death!"
"Did you hear what I said? Those people wore uniforms! Uniforms, for crying out loud! That means it's their job, my friend! Do you get it? Their job is destroying planets!"
The Scientist was nearly in tears from laughing, slapping Taro's shoulder and pointing toward the direction of his distant home planet. His face twisted between laughter and despair as he half-cried, half-laughed:
"This means those people will come to our planet eventually! It's only a matter of time before they show up! Everyone is doomed! Just wait—it'll happen! We're all going to die!" He stabbed his finger forcefully at the air, mimicking an explosion. "Just like that—boom! Ha ha ha!"
Taro frowned, his thoughts drifting as he listened to the Rat's words.
Frieza's subordinates… could they really be this powerful?
Ginyu?
In the original timeline, Ginyu had a power level of 120,000. Strong, yes, but capable of destroying a planet with a single finger? Highly unlikely. The timeline didn't align, either.
And there were two of them, according to the Scientist.
Two hundred years… Could it be that, two centuries ago, Frieza had even stronger subordinates than the Ginyu Force?
"Take me to the gravity chamber," Taro commanded, brushing away the colorful birds that had perched on him again. He shooed them off, urging them to entertain themselves elsewhere.
Fabeli manic expression faded, replaced by confusion. "I've been meaning to ask—what exactly do you want with that bizarre gravity chamber? It's already set to handle up to 300 times normal gravity. What are you trying to prove? I know you're strong and you can fly, but… don't tell me you can survive under 300 times gravity!"
The gravity on the Scientist's home planet was similar to Earth's.
Even when Taro had broken him out of the Federation prison with Gaia's help, he hadn't displayed any earth-shattering strength. Thanks to Instant Transmission, everything had been done quickly and quietly. Fabeli had agreed to build the spaceship partly because his life depended on it and partly because he simply didn't care.
Taro replied calmly, "Just do as I've instructed. The reason I brought you along is for contingencies—if this ship breaks down, I can't fix it. Don't worry; when the time comes, I'll send you back."
The scientist opened the gravity chamber door, sneering. "What difference does it make if I go back or not? If we ever cross paths with those people, we're dead anyway!" With that, he stepped into the gravity chamber, muttering to himself.
"Dead anyway…"
Taro stood at the doorway, clenching his fists. He could feel his ki, which had grown significantly stronger since leaving Earth. His gaze turned sharp as he looked at the Scientist, who was busy operating the chamber's control panel.
Finally, he stepped inside.
"That's not necessarily true."
