Chapter 25: Chapter 25
Bardock and Gine were both astonished upon hearing the decision. They wanted to ask why Earth was deemed the most suitable place for Kakarot's growth.
However, Bardock, aware of Saigo's connection to the legend, restrained himself. It was said that the appearance of Saigo as their king stemmed from a vision bestowed by the Super Saiyan God. Thanks to this, the Saiyans had come to their current state of power and freedom.
Bardock had confided these things to Gine before, which explained why she hesitated to speak further.
From the secret planning to overthrow Frieza to the eventual success in toppling his brutal rule, it was all thanks to Saigo's efforts. To this day, he hadn't made a single mistake.
The ability to control battle power freely.
Training to significantly enhance strength.
The Super Saiyan was no longer a myth.
Recalling exiled Saiyan warriors.
Overthrowing Frieza's oppressive reign.
Each of these milestones stood as proof of Saigo's wisdom and leadership.
Faced with this, Bardock and Gine found themselves at a crossroads.
For most Saiyans, such a matter would have been met with unquestioning acceptance, perhaps even gratitude, given that it was a direct order from their king.
However, Bardock and Gine were outliers among the Saiyans. They cared deeply for their family—especially after being guided by Saigo's teachings. Family unity meant everything to them.
Of the two, Gine's reluctance was more evident, written all over her face.
Witnessing this, Saigo took a deep breath, silently cursing his lack of resolve.
"Damn it, I've already been reincarnated. Why should Kakarot have to suffer on Earth again?"
"Screw destiny!"
"To hell with fate—I'm not sending him!"
"Alright, since the two of you are unwilling, I won't insist either! I trust that Kakarot can grow up healthy right here on Planet Saiya!" Saigo declared sincerely. "You may return to your training now. Oh, and Gine, you should rest properly before resuming, to avoid any lasting health issues."
Saigo wasn't playing games or attempting reverse psychology; he genuinely decided not to send Kakarot to Earth.
With that said, he prepared to leave and continue his own training.
However, just a few steps away, he was stopped.
"Saigo King, please… please wait!"
Turning back, Saigo saw that the speaker was Gine, the one who had been most reluctant moments ago.
Now, however, her expression had transformed into one of steadfast determination. Though her eyes still betrayed her reluctance, she firmly stated, "I… I agree with your arrangement for Kakarot."
Having spoken, her shoulders sagged, and she seemed on the verge of collapsing. Bardock, knowing her well, quickly stepped in to support her.
Bardock cast a deep look at Gine before turning to Saigo. His firm face reflected his decision as he said, "I also agree to your arrangement!"
Bardock had initially intended to state that he had no objections, but out of consideration for Gine's feelings, this rare Saiyan with a touch of humanity chose silence earlier.
Now that Gine had agreed, he had no reason to oppose.
Saigo understood how much courage it took for a mother who had just given birth to make such a decision.
After a moment of silence, he spoke softly, "Then… spend as much time with Kakarot as you can. The sooner he is sent to Earth… the better."
His voice trailed off toward the end.
Saigo wasn't sure if this decision was right or wrong.
No amount of comforting words could ease a mother's pain and reluctance to part with her child.
With a heavy heart, Saigo left. For once, Bardock and Gine did not formally bid him farewell.
Bardock merely nodded firmly, as if silently saying, "Rest assured, I'll handle it."
Back in the royal palace, Saigo threw himself into the gravity chamber, cranking it up to triple gravity, immersing himself in intense training to escape his troubled thoughts.
By dusk, the inevitable moment arrived.
Kakarot boarded a spherical personal spaceship and departed Planet Saiya.
The ones seeing him off included not just Bardock and Gine, but also 19 elite warriors.
Although they couldn't understand why Saigo had chosen to send a newborn lower-class warrior with a battle power of only 2 to an isolated planet like Earth, they trusted that Saigo must have his reasons.
All they could do was bid him farewell.
At the same time, they marked Earth's location in their minds, vowing to one day uncover Saigo's purpose behind this decision.
Time passed quickly.
Night fell.
After completing his day's training and preparing for bed, Saigo lay down quietly, pulling up his personal information panel.

"Finally, I've mastered the full-power Super Saiyan form!" Saigo thought, a hint of pride flashing across his face.
"Training speeds up both in simulations and real life. Just as I suspected, Saiyans' training pace accelerates once they achieve Super Saiyan form."
He thought back to the Dragon Ball Z storyline, particularly the Cell Saga, where Goku and the other three Saiyans saw their power skyrocket like they were riding a rocket.
"My theory seems correct."
"Thinking about it, Goku trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for less than a day in real-world time—just a few months inside—and reached a base power level of 700 million! Terrifying!"
"But if Saiyans' training speed indeed increases after becoming Super Saiyan, combined with constant sparring and healing with Senzu Beans, their power boosts make perfect sense!"
"Hmm, makes complete sense!"
"If Goku, a lower-class warrior, can achieve 700 million in base power as a Super Saiyan, I wonder what my base power as a Super Saiyan will be!"
Saigo realized he might have uncovered another Saiyan secret. "Enhanced training speeds are great! This way, when King Cold or Cooler shows up in one or two months, I won't have to worry about losing!"
"Heh, the Saiyan race is truly extraordinary!"
"Tomorrow, I'll continue!"
Fueled by excitement, Saigo almost rushed back to the gravity chamber for an all-night training session.
However, reasoning that proper rest leads to better results, he suppressed his enthusiasm and attempted to fall asleep.
Perhaps due to the day's exhausting training, sleep came quickly. Within moments, his mind drifted into rest mode.
Rest time began.
