Dragon Ball Human

Chapter 364: Chapter 364: We Must Fight!

The moment Satan's words faded, a conical torrent of white energy erupted from Yamiru's position on the charred earth, roaring skyward like a silent dragon. It tore through the overcast heavens, blasting a massive circular hole in the clouds.

BOOM!

The delayed shockwave shook the world as the energy surge engulfed Satan high above, lingering before slowly dissipating.

Through the newly opened sky, warm sunlight—unseen for centuries—poured down onto the land.

At Mount Five Elements, Sherie and Mr. Popo flew to the colossal Furnace of Eight Divisions on their magic carpet. The exhausted giantess Annin leaned against the furnace, gazing into the distance where a golden pillar of light pierced the gloom, like divine grace descending from the heavens.

Annin stared transfixed. Sherie watched with a faint smile. Mr. Popo's hollow white eyes betrayed no emotion, his expression as blank as carved wood.

Yamiru stood at the epicenter of the sunlight, boots planted in scorched soil. He raised his face, basking in the golden warmth, then shot upward like a bolt of white lightning—halting mid-air at Satan's eye level.

The Great Demon King lowered his guard, arms smoking faintly. Bathed in sunlight, even his Dabura-like features seemed less menacing.

"Seems you and Sherie really are close," Yamiru remarked, his drifting black hair catching the light like scattered gold.

"You seem familiar with her too," Satan replied, glancing at the long-lost blue sky. "Haven't seen this view in centuries. When I first arrived here, the world looked just like this."

Yamiru's voice was steady. "Then it's time to give it back."

Satan met his gaze. "Your name?"

He could feel it—this Earthling's energy was still climbing, drawing out every ounce of potential from his posthumous body. His ki was razor-focused, like a peerless sword tempered through storms, now gleaming in the sun.

"Call me Yamiru. But today..."

A grin. He pointed at himself.

"You can call me Super Yamiru. First Guardian Deity of Earth."

Golden light swirled in his eyes. Across from him, Satan's body—once devoid of energy—erupted with violet flames, surging wildly as if unshackled for the first time. A true opponent demanded true power.

"A Guardian, huh?" Satan chuckled. "Never met one as strong as you."

Their eyes locked.

In the next instant—both vanished.

Whoosh...

A gust of wind marked their fleeting collision.

The circular blue gap in the sky split westward, tearing open a ten-kilometer-long gash, spilling sunlight over the ravaged earth.

High above, white and purple streaks chased each other at blinding speeds.

Yamiru roared, golden eyes flaring, his fist carrying the weight of mountains as it arced toward Satan's predicted trajectory.

BAM!

Satan blocked, but the impact sent a shockwave blasting out his back, shredding another chunk of the overcast sky. More sunlight flooded the land.

With a snarl, Satan's maw split open—a continent-leveling energy beam erupting point-blank.

BOOM!

Yamiru was blasted beyond the horizon...

Only to reappear a second later, clothes tattered, erupting from the explosion with a "HAA!!" White energy coiled around him as he zigzagged back along the beam's path—

—And drove a flying knee into Satan's face before he could react.

Smoke poured from Satan's mouth as he retaliated with a gut punch so brutal Yamiru's spine visibly deformed.

Pain sharpened Yamiru's focus. Grinning through bloodied teeth, he seized Satan's arm, spun like a top, and hurled him higher.

Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh!

A barrage of ki blasts chased Satan into the stratosphere, through the hole in the clouds, into the endless blue above the sea of gray.

Satan halted mid-ascent, wiping his mangled lips, and slashed downward—

A crescent of violet lightning met the ascending ki blasts, detonating them in a chain reaction...

Yet from the smoke, Yamiru emerged, a supernova of white energy blazing at his waist.

"Oh shi—"

Too late.

Yamiru was already in his face, palms cradling a sphere of apocalyptic energy.

"KA... ME..."

He thrust it toward Satan's skull.

Purple beams lanced from Satan's eyes, piercing Yamiru's forehead—

—Only to hit afterimages.

The Kamehameha's energy kept swelling.

Something was wrong.

No feint could mask this much power.

where strategy trumps raw power.

Satan instantly tracked Yamiru's movement, whirling around with a palm strike that sent shockwaves rippling through the clouds below.

The blast engulfed Yamiru's figure—yet it was another afterimage.

The Kamehameha's energy had already surpassed Yamiru's maximum combat power.

And it was still growing.

"So this is your killing blow?" Satan licked his purple lips with a manic grin before roaring. Violet spikes of energy erupted from his body like never before. "Then come at me!"

Mimicking the stance, he cupped his hands at his waist—forming his own Kamehameha.

Hummm...

A purple energy sphere materialized between his palms, rapidly expanding before compressing again and again, refining its destructive potential...

Through the thick overcast, two suns—one white, one violet—slowly brightened, as if threatening to shatter the sky and crush the world beneath their weight.

Above the clouds, two terrifying auras clashed. The edges of the clearing in the gloomy sea of clouds melted away like snow under a blowtorch.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

White and purple afterimages crisscrossed the heavens—kicks, shoulder charges, even headbutts—multiplying by the second. Both combatants grew increasingly battered, bloodied, and desperate...

Crack! Lightning split the air.

Every afterimage glowed with an orb of energy at its waist—white or violet. Neither halted their Kamehameha's buildup. The more afterimages, the brighter the techniques grew, their oppressive pressure turning suffocating.

"Heh..." Satan smirked mid-clash.

"Tch." Yamiru, his battle-worn body streaked with blood, golden eyes flashing, vanished—

—Reappearing directly above the original circular gap in the clouds.

Satan teleported in sync, their faces now inches apart.

Simultaneously, they thrust their solar-flare-bright Kamehamehas forward—

BOOOOOOM!

At point-blank range, the colliding beams—each surpassing Super Saiyan-tier power—detonated into an apocalyptic ring of energy.

The recoil blasted them apart along white and violet streaks, hurling them dozens of kilometers in opposite directions. At the epicenter, the energy sphere swelled like a mountain, expanding the cloud gap to over 100 kilometers in diameter.

On the ground, scattered survivors—humans, beastmen, monsters—squinted at the long-lost sunlight, gazing up at the two titans clashing in the blue sky.

Even the demons muttered Satan's name in awe.

"RAAAAH!" Yamiru's veins bulged as his white aura spiked into jagged rays, transforming him into a radiant porcupine of light. He pushed forward against the opposing force, inching his beam back.

Across the stalemated energy sphere, Satan—equally strained—forced his violet half forward.

The distance between them shrank. The central sphere grew more terrifying.

Some Earthling martial artists fell to their knees, whispering prayers.

BOOM!

BOOM!

Closer...

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Satan howled, demonic flames surging as he advanced kilometers in a single push.

Yamiru gritted his teeth, forced back.

In the living world, his golden halo's energy supply was virtually nonexistent. His body was reaching its limit.

He didn't care. More power.

He was already dead—what did he have left to lose?

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

The gap kept narrowing.

Across Earth, even those without ki sense trembled, instinctively aware of the pivotal struggle unfolding.

10 kilometers...

8 kilometers...

On hillsides, cliffs, and treetops, humans and mutants alike stared at the distant sky—at the "blue heavens" and "sunlight" they'd only heard of in stories...

4 kilometers...

1 kilometer...

Yamiru and Satan, driven solely by willpower, pushed forward on autopilot, their bodies numb.

"You have to win..." Annin whispered. "It's all on you now, Yamiru..."

The energy sphere loomed before them.

With a final roar, Yamiru channeled every last drop of strength—

Self-destruction.

He'd fuel his Kamehameha with his own annihilation.

The white beam swelled, overwhelming the violet half.

"Sigh..."

From within Satan, energy flickered—and failed.

"You lose."
