Chapter 355: Chapter 355: Super Saiyan God
As a figure descended, all five were startled.
Upon recognizing Yamoshi, their shock deepened.
"You managed to suppress your ki to this extent and still maintain such speed? How is that possible?"
A simple principle: if one suppresses their ki to a very low level, making it difficult for others to sense, then naturally, their overall strength is diminished, and high-speed movement becomes impossible.
Yet, to what extent had "Yamoshi" suppressed "her" ki?
It wasn't until "she" arrived nearby that the five of them barely noticed "her" presence!
Such mastery over ki was beyond the comprehension of the five Sadala Saiyans.
However, from Yamiru's perspective, Saiyans as a race were naturally endowed with strong ki. Through natural growth alone, the majority of their people possessed energy far exceeding that of Earthlings. Techniques like flight and energy blasts came as naturally to them as breathing, requiring no deep understanding. And for a race like that, research on how to efficiently integrate minute amounts of ki with raw physical power was unlikely to be a priority.
But Yamiru was different. Compared to the Saiyans before him, his original Earthling body's energy level was so low it was practically negligible.
By keeping his ki at an extremely low level, Yamiru could integrate it with his body, unleashing tremendous physical abilities—especially with Yamoshi's exceptional body as a foundation.
"No time to explain. You can't possibly be unaware of how powerful that guy's ki is, can you? He'll be here any second." Yamiru steadied his breathing, quickly scanning the five Saiyans who were Yamoshi's companions. "Use your ki control techniques to channel your power into me! That's our only option."
Was he supposed to suddenly manifest the same fury Goku had felt after losing his closest friends?
Yamiru had to admit—he simply couldn't do it.
Since that path was unavailable, there was only one alternative: attempt to become a Super Saiyan God!
Though it felt odd to call it "Super Saiyan God" without first transforming into a Super Saiyan… that was indeed its name. And if one were to transform into a Super Saiyan on top of the Super Saiyan God form, it would be called "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan," also known as "Super Saiyan Blue", as Goku and Vegeta referred to it.
"This…" The five Sadala Saiyans exchanged uncertain glances.
"Yamoshi's" request was too abrupt, too strange.
They could all sense that the S-Class warrior in the distance had already elevated his ki to a terrifying level.
Even if they transferred every last drop of their power to "Yamoshi"—what difference would it make?
It wouldn't surpass their enemy.
Simple arithmetic.
"Trust me," Yamiru said, his gaze firm. Under his heightened perception, through the lens of his True Sight, he could see that all five of them possessed the same righteous ki as Yamoshi. "And trust in your own courage."
---
In the sky, the blood-colored warrior, now half-covered in fine fur, prowled through the air.
"Where are you hiding?"
Everywhere he passed, the ground shattered within a radius of several hundred meters, fissures erupting with scorching white light, consuming everything and turning the landscape into scorched earth.
---
"Yes! Trust in Yamoshi!" Mellen gritted her teeth, stepping forward in support.
From their perception, the S-Class warrior—who was still unleashing a devastating bombardment not far away—was getting closer.
At his speed, their only chance of escape was to fully unleash their ki. But if they did that, they'd be sensed instantly, and he would close in on them immediately.
There was no other way. They had to follow "Yamoshi's" plan!
"Stay calm. Pretend that guy doesn't exist for now…" Yamiru adjusted his state, letting his ki flow through him. "Transfer your ki to me…"
Mellen, Gabi, and the other four Sadala Saiyans followed his lead, forcing themselves to ignore the overwhelming, malevolent energy inching closer. Instead, they focused entirely on the "Yamoshi" at the center of their formation.
Opening their hearts, they poured their ki into "Yamoshi".
Hummm… Hummm…
One-to-one. Five-to-one. A radiant field of energy shimmered between them, and they all felt a pure, righteous presence.
It was an indescribable sensation.
Mellen, Gabi, and the others grew calmer, steadily infusing their ki into the core of "Yamoshi's" being.
---
Suddenly, the blood-colored warrior, still sweeping the sky, halted abruptly.
He turned his head toward a certain spot—not far from the scorched wasteland he had created.
"Found you…" He grinned.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
A surge of crimson flames erupted around him, more intense than ever. The aura, which had originally flickered like burning fire, now bristled into a menacing, spiked corona.
With a low growl, the warrior's position exploded into a flash of light, tearing through the air like a distortion of space itself.
In an instant, he vanished into the horizon.
---
Meanwhile, Yamiru was experiencing something profoundly mysterious.
He felt like he was melting.
He felt his ki dissolving within him.
His bones, his flesh—breaking apart, reshaping.
His energy, his very spirit—floating, shifting.
Every ounce of power within him, every trace of ki, seemed to be boiling, burning, evaporating—transforming into a radiant glow.
---
Encircling "Yamoshi," the five Sadala Saiyans poured their ki into him, their energies interwoven, their power converging into a single vessel.
"Not good! That guy has spotted us!"
"He's so fast!"
"He's almost here!"
Mellen, Gabi, and the others grew anxious. Unable to resist, they opened their eyes and looked at "Yamoshi"—only to widen them in shock, as if witnessing an unbelievable transformation.
A trace of golden-red spiritual light flickered within the white aura surrounding "Yamoshi."
…
In a daze, Yamiru felt as if he had broken through a thick barrier, reaching another dimension—another, higher realm—an entirely transcendent state.
Then, he gradually began to withdraw from this state, his consciousness starting to drift away.
A vague intuition struck him—it was Yamoshi's body, having ascended to the form of Super Saiyan God, instinctively rejecting his spirit, his foreign soul.
A Super Saiyan God was, after all, a god. The transformed body, the transformed power, rejected his presence—rejected this mortal.
Yamiru sensed that his consciousness was about to return to Earth, back to his own body.
He couldn't help but feel a bit regretful.
"I didn't get to truly experience what it feels like to wield the power of a Super Saiyan God… But it's fine. At least, now that Yamoshi has become a Super Saiyan God, she should be able to defeat that guy from earlier… If she can also master the Super Saiyan transformation, he'll be able to take the next step and become a Super Saiyan Blue… That should be enough to sweep through the entire Planet Sadala…"
Just as his consciousness was about to drift away completely, a hand reached out and grabbed him.
Yamiru was pulled back. He suddenly sobered up and turned around—only to see Yamoshi. In this spiritual space, it could only be Yamoshi.
"You finally woke up." Yamiru let out a breath. "When did you regain consciousness?"
"I'm not too sure… I feel like I just woke up, but I also seem to have some memory of what happened after you arrived," Yamoshi said, releasing her grip after ensuring Yamiru had returned. With a carefree smile, she laughed, "I really thought I was done for this time! Thanks, Yamiru."
Even in an unconscious state, she was still aware of what was happening outside? Yamiru nodded.
This gave him a sense of déjà vu—like when Goku recovered from his heart virus during the Android Saga.
He wondered if Bardock and his descendants in the future inherited Yamoshi's bloodline.
"If that's the case, then you should know… now isn't the time for small talk."
"Yeah…" Yamoshi lowered her gaze to her palm, where a hazy brilliance began to shimmer.
Very quickly, that golden-red aura—like the flames of the sun—began to envelop her entire being.
Her eyebrows and pupils turned crimson.
Her wild, black hair slowly transformed, radiating a red glow as it floated slightly, like tongues of a blazing sun.
"There's still an annoying guy outside!"
---
A streak of blood-red energy shot through the sky before abruptly stopping with a sharp "snap."
The ape-haired warrior, his body erupting with needle-like crimson flames, gazed down at the crevice below. He could clearly sense five weak energy signatures hidden inside.
"You dare flaunt your meager power, yet don't have the guts to face me directly?"
The S-class warrior extended his palm downward. A concentrated, blood-red energy began condensing in his hand, distorting the air around it with a low, rumbling hum, as if the atmosphere itself couldn't withstand his pressure.
"Then don't blame me for being merciless!"
His hand flipped.
Fingers pointed skyward.
Compared to any previous "scorched earth" attack, this one was even more devastating.
A blinding white "wave" shattered the ground, surging madly into the sky, engulfing everything within a kilometer.
For several dozen seconds, amidst the ultimate energy explosion, the entire world seemed to fall silent.
When it finally subsided, arcs of energy crackled within the superheated, thinning air, slowly regaining visibility.
Below, the land was charred black, the horizon sinking at least ten meters.
But amidst this scorched wasteland, at the very spot where the crevice once was, a golden-red sphere of light stood out—impossible to ignore.
"They survived?" The S-class warrior in the sky was visibly surprised. "Those five weaklings… actually weren't reduced to dust by my attack?"
As the golden-red barrier slowly dissipated, five Sadalan Saiyans were revealed—shaken, bewildered.
And in front of them, standing tall and composed, was a figure wreathed in the flames of the sun.
Mellen, Gabi, and the others stared at her back in stunned silence, swallowing hard.
This transformation had surpassed their imagination.
To their senses, the one who had just protected them from that terrifying attack—Yamoshi—was now as "weak" as air.
They couldn't feel even the slightest trace of energy from her!
This contradiction between what they saw and what they sensed was incomprehensible.
It was as if… at this moment, Yamoshi had transcended logic itself.
Having undergone the ritual and transformed into a Super Saiyan God, Yamoshi lifted her head, gazing up at the bloodthirsty figure in the sky.
"There are six of them?!"
