Dragon Ball: Escape from Planet Vegeta

Chapter 92: Chapter 92

At the same time

The Underworld

Located on North Kai Planet at the end of Snake Way.

At this moment, the North Kai looked incredulous.

"This Saiyan named Talot is growing faster than I expected. How long has it been? His power has improved so much. Perhaps he might become the legendary Super Saiyan in the future," he muttered to himself while observing the lower realm.

Beside him, Bubbles and Gregory also watched the lower realm alongside the North Kai.

Recently, observing Talot's transformations had become a regular occurrence.

Today, Talot's explosive surge in power once again shattered their understanding of Saiyans.

From this storm of energy alone—capable of shaking space—it was clear that Talot had surpassed Frieza's 530,000 combat points.

If Talot could receive proper guidance, he would become even stronger!

"How can I entice this kid to come to me?" North Kai was eager for Talot to train under his guidance.

At the very least, if this boy were truly strong enough to defeat Frieza, it might also undo the destructive influence Frieza wielded.

Back then, Beerus had destroyed much of the North Kai's domain, leaving Frieza as Beerus' chosen agent of destruction. This made it difficult for figures like Kai to interfere. Even the Kaioshins had to turn a blind eye.

The North Kai also knew that the East Kaioshin remaining in their universe had an overly high opinion of himself, considering himself the best in the universe.

Living in the Kaioshin Realm year-round, East Kaioshin was completely oblivious to the existence of beings like Beerus, the God of Destruction.

In simple terms, East Kaioshin had spent five million years living in fear of Majin Buu. His only thought was to prevent Buu's return to the world.

As for the menace Frieza posed to the universe, East Kaioshin believed he could crush Frieza with a finger and thus paid no attention to such a small ant.

It wasn't until the Elder Kaioshin was freed that the East Kaioshin, as seen in the original work, received orthodox education and learned much more.

That said, the North Kai thought that if someone could destroy Frieza, even if Beerus awoke to cause trouble, it would have nothing to do with him.

Talot's talent was exceptional, and as a surviving Saiyan, the North Kai even considered telling Talot that Beerus, the God of Destruction, had ordered Frieza to destroy the Saiyan race.

After careful thought, the North Kai refrained. Revealing such information could backfire.

Scene Change: Back to the Moon

With his massive surge in energy, Talot's consciousness returned from his sea of knowledge.

Brimming with wild power, Talot awoke, feeling that he could obliterate the moon beneath his feet with a single strike.

At that moment, his body underwent an astonishing transformation.

Previously muscular, his physique now grew even more robust. His height increased by nearly twenty centimeters, transforming him from a youth into a fully grown adult.

His hardened muscles, with their clear lines, presented an incredibly imposing sight.

"Success. I didn't expect to master the power of the Great Ape in human form! To reach this level!" Talot exclaimed, his excitement evident.

Now, he considered himself terrifyingly strong.

If his former self faced him now, the outcome would be instant death.

As a time traveler, Talot was well aware of the humanoid Great Ape form.

This form was typically exclusive to the legendary Super Saiyan Broly, shown in its full glory in the original work only through Broly.

Does this prove that mastering the Great Ape's power in human form has nothing to do with the legendary Super Saiyan bloodline?

Perhaps the legendary Super Saiyan could unleash the Great Ape's power, but ordinary Saiyans could also channel this energy through continuous development.

"My combat power now definitely exceeds one million points! Otherwise, this feeling wouldn't be so overwhelming. Frieza is nothing compared to me now!" Talot muttered, continuing to feel the energy surging within him.

With just a single movement, he could reduce a star to dust in the universe.

Before transforming into a Great Ape, Talot's combat power had stabilized at just over 230,000 points.

Considering the Great Ape's transformation multiplier of ten times, even though the humanoid form multiplier might not reach that level, it was at least five times.

A fivefold increase meant his combat power had reached at least 1.15 million points.

Was this the limit?

No!

Talot felt that this was merely the beginning of utilizing the Great Ape's power!

Once he completely mastered the power of this form, the amplification could increase even further.

This type of training might resemble that of the Super Saiyan form, but it existed on a different level.

In the grand scheme of things, as long as Talot continued developing, he had a premonition that the humanoid Great Ape's combat power multiplier would become endless. It could eventually rival or even surpass that of a Super Saiyan.

Additionally, Talot believed the power of the Great Ape was closely tied to the Super Saiyan 4 transformation.

Now that he had mastered the humanoid Great Ape form, when he eventually attained the Super Saiyan transformation and fused its power with the humanoid Great Ape form, he might not need to follow the original path.

Instead, he could skip ahead and directly achieve the Super Saiyan 4 transformation.

Of course, this wasn't guaranteed, and it was possible he could transform into other forms of Super Saiyan.

As his thoughts grew bolder, Talot did his best to control his emotions and finally calmed down, expelling all the forms and possibilities of becoming stronger that had passed through his mind.

For him, improving his strength was good, but it would mean little if he continued to fantasize recklessly.

Becoming stronger and achieving breakthroughs in power is something done step by step.

The reason he could reach this state now was because he had explored and consolidated his strength bit by bit.

It would be absurd to think that one could simply imagine how strong they would be and immediately surpass one, two, three, or even four levels.

Floating in space, Talot raised his foot and lightly stepped forward.

In an instant, he moved far away from the moon.

He couldn't wait to test his strength, but he kept his distance from the moon, worried that it might be destroyed by the effects of his power.

"It's a pity I don't have a suitable opponent; otherwise..." Talot murmured before raising his hand and clenching the air.

A powerful energy began gathering in his palm, and the pressure radiating from it darkened the surrounding space.

After a moment, a golden sphere of compressed energy formed in Talot's hand.

His gaze swept across the universe until it landed on a distant meteorite over 50,000 meters in diameter, floating in space.

Fixing his target, Talot raised his hand and launched the sphere.

The compressed energy bomb flew from his palm, heading straight for the massive meteorite.

When the energy bomb struck the surface of the meteorite...

Boom!!!

Space trembled. The energy bomb exploded, and its terrifying destructive power instantly shattered and melted the colossal meteorite.

The dazzling light from the explosion was blinding, resembling the scene of a planet's destruction. However, the display didn't last long. Since the meteorite didn't have a core, the explosion's light faded quickly.

The cosmic space around the impact site was disrupted by the explosion's power. The shockwaves didn't disappear immediately; they continued to expand, growing weaker with distance but still traveling a great length.

When the explosion's power finally dissipated, not even a speck of dust remained in the universe.

"The destructive power of that casual attack reached this level? If it hit Earth, it would devastate everything for thousands of miles. If it struck Earth's core, the planet itself would be obliterated," Talot thought, astonished.

In his normal state, he already had the power to easily crush Earth. Now, he could achieve the same result with just a few moves.

The power he could unleash in his humanoid Great Ape form was far more terrifying than he had anticipated.

Although he had fired a casual energy bomb, he could still control its power. If he didn't make an effort to restrain it, the attack's power could be several times greater.

No wonder Broly, in the original series, didn't change forms—his raw power in controlling the Great Ape's energy was already overwhelming.

"I'll need to be more cautious when using this form in the future. Unless I can control it perfectly, I shouldn't use it casually."

"Still, I now have another trump card. If I could master the North Kai's Kaio-ken now, I wonder if I could multiply my strength even further," Talot thought, considering the Kaio-ken.

In the original anime, Goku had used the Kaio-ken at an exceptional level.

Super Saiyan Blue with Kaio-ken times twenty! And with almost no side effects.

Imagine how powerful one could become by combining the humanoid Great Ape form with Kaio-ken!

Stronger than the Super Saiyan form? Without a doubt!

At that moment, a voice suddenly echoed in Talot's mind.

"Amazing. Your strength has improved faster than I expected. It's only been four months, and you've grown this powerful."

"North Kai, you really are everywhere, or have you been secretly watching me since our last communication?" Talot was slightly surprised, then thought of the Kaio-ken.

"Yes, I've been secretly observing you since we last parted," the North Kai replied candidly. "How about it? After all this time, have you decided to come train on my planet, North Kai? I can guarantee that with my guidance, your strength will improve even faster. Sooner or later, you'll reach the legendary Super Saiyan level."

"Super Saiyan? You're so straightforward. I'm curious—why do you have so much faith in me? Aren't you afraid that after I grow stronger through your training, I might become an existence more evil and terrifying than Frieza?" Talot joked.

On North Kai's planet, the North Kai took Talot's rhetorical question as a joke and didn't mind.

"If you were that kind of person, I wouldn't have been observing you for so long. You're different from other Saiyans. As a Kai, I can sense your pure heart; there's not a trace of malice in your Ki. If someone like you were to turn evil, it would be a problem with the universe itself."

The North Kai's response was flattering and even a bit pleading, as though he feared Talot might refuse.

If Talot weren't a time traveler and unaware of the original storyline, he might not have dared to take such risks.

But he knew better.

The North Kai was eager, but Talot felt he could gain greater benefits from him.

"It seems I'm a good person in your eyes," Talot teased.

"I don't know if you're a good person, but you're definitely not a bad one, much less someone like Frieza. So, what do you think?" the North Kai asked directly, returning to the point.

Hearing this, Talot fell silent again.

For now, there didn't seem to be any better options.

Training with the North Kai and under his guidance could indeed improve his strength further.

He debated whether to go alone or bring Salary and Raditz with him.

The North Kai didn't interrupt Talot's thoughts.

After a moment, Talot finally made a decision.

"Alright, so how do I reach you, North Kai? As you said last time, you're in another world," Talot asked.

"It's very simple. There's a god on the Earth where you currently live. I'll inform him about this later. He'll use his ability to send you to the underworld. From there, you'll use King Yemma's guidance to cross Snake Way, and then you'll reach my planet and meet me," the North Kai explained energetically.

The method was no different from how Goku reached North Kai in the original series.

"Fortunately, I'm not the kind of person who would have random thoughts. Otherwise, if you asked me to go to the underworld to find you, I would have scolded you by now," Talot continued joking.

Think about it—a stranger suddenly sends you a message saying they want to help you become stronger and then tells you to go to the underworld to find them. That's a truly nerve-wracking idea.

"Don't you believe me? You'll be the first living person to enter the underworld with the permission of me, the Kai of the North. I'm looking forward to your arrival here at North Kai's planet, Talot," the North Kai said. Without giving Talot a chance to respond further, the North Kai decided his goal was achieved and cut off contact.

He still needed to contact Earth's God, Piccolo, and arrange for him to carry out this task.

Without the North Kai's watchful gaze, Talot suddenly felt the sensation of being observed vanish.

Talot became lost in thought.

A long time passed before he regained focus. First, he released his humanoid Great Ape form, then made several attempts to adapt to the power before finally using spatial transfer to vanish from the universe.

---

On Earth

Talot appeared at Mount Paozu in an instant.

When Gine and Raditz saw him arrive, they immediately approached him, asking what had happened.

At the same time, Salari, who was far away in West City, sensed Talot's aura. Locking onto it, she instantly teleported to Mount Paozu.

"Brother Talot, are you okay? What was that energy movement just now?" Salari asked.

"A major breakthrough in one aspect. After tireless efforts, I've finally managed to harness the power of the Great Ape transformation..." Talot didn't hide anything and explained the power of the Great Ape.

When Raditz and Salari heard this, they were both stunned. Gine asked curiously, "Great Ape transformation? Talot, were you transforming into a Great Ape in space just now?"

"That's right! But what I mean by using the power of the Great Ape transformation is that I can use it without fully transforming. In other words, I can harness the power of the Great Ape without becoming one, achieving the humanoid Great Ape form!" Talot replied.

"I see! No wonder your aura suddenly expanded so much, and it carried such a wild and barbaric essence," Raditz exclaimed, his eyes lighting up.

Salari was shocked. "Does that mean Brother Talot can now transform into a humanoid Great Ape and increase his power tenfold? If you can boost your strength without fully transforming, doesn't that mean your combat power could reach 2.3 million?"

At this revelation, everyone gasped.

Originally, a combat power of 230,000 was already impressive. But with a tenfold increase, wouldn't that far surpass Frieza's base combat power of 530,000?

They had previously speculated that if the chance arose to become a Great Ape, while they couldn't defeat Frieza, Talot might be able to.

Of course, Talot hadn't told them that Frieza could transform and eventually reach a combat power of 120 million.

Even with a combat power exceeding one million, Talot knew he was still an ant compared to Frieza.

The only way to win would be to kill Frieza before he transformed.

After all, Frieza was a cosmic emperor-level being. Even without transforming, his physical strength was far beyond ordinary life forms.

Otherwise, the original Frieza wouldn't have been so absurdly durable.

What was especially ridiculous was in the later Broly movie from the original storyline, where Frieza endured Broly's beating for an entire hour.
