Dragon Ball: Collaborating with Frieza to Destroy Planet Vegeta

Chapter 163: Chapter 163: An Unexpected Surprise!

Chapter 163: An Unexpected Surprise!

Facing the arrogant Earth warriors, Kami merely smiled and didn't seem to mind at all.

After all, they'd be the ones crying soon enough!

Mr. Popo stepped forward and said, "Since there are too many of you and it's impossible to determine who gets the Dragon Ball wish, it will depend on who performs the best. The one who does will earn the wish."

"First, let's start with the simplest test: the ability to withstand their aura pressure."

After Mr. Popo finished speaking, he stepped aside, and several tall figures emerged behind him, exuding an overwhelming aura.

These were Saiyans. They also wanted to see the level of Earth warriors that had been cultivated under their guidance.

Upon seeing the Earth warriors, the Saiyans were somewhat satisfied. Though the highest battle power among them was only 20,000, they knew how weak Earth had once been.

In the past, Earth's fighters had been nothing but cannon fodder...

To reach this level of strength now was already quite impressive.

Just then, Adam suddenly pointed at Son Goku, his face showing both shock and amazement.

"He... he... he's a Saiyan!!"

Adam's words immediately grabbed everyone's attention, especially the other Saiyans, who all turned to look at Son Goku—more specifically, at the tail swaying behind him.

Unlike the others, Goku hadn't wrapped his tail around his waist.

This detail also caught the attention of the Earth warriors. They had initially found these strangers quite peculiar, sensing an indescribable aura about them.

However, they hadn't paid enough attention to notice anything unusual…

Until Adam's statement made everyone realize it.

These people all had tails...

And so did Son Goku...

What was going on here?

"Tails? They have tails too!!" Bulma cried out.

Though Earth had all sorts of strange and diverse people, no one with a tail had been seen before—not until Son Goku.

And now, these people looked just like Goku...

Could there be some connection?

Everyone looked on in disbelief.

At this moment, even Kami and Mr. Popo were surprised.

"It really is identical. There's no mistaking it; that tail is a Saiyan's tail... this..."

Everyone was stunned.

Even the Saiyans present were in disbelief. They had thought they were the only surviving Saiyans.

While they knew it was possible that other Saiyans were scattered across the galaxy, finding one was extremely rare. They had a Saiyan prince among them, but even then, they had never expected this.

And yet...

Here on Earth, they had discovered another Saiyan.

And his battle power wasn't bad either.

"Interesting. To think we'd encounter a wandering Saiyan here!"

"Usually, the ones sent to other planets are low-class warriors. This guy is probably the same as us. But how could he be so young? Was he sent away just before Planet Vegeta was destroyed?"

"Seems likely..."

"But since he's a Saiyan, shouldn't he have followed the orders given when he was sent to another planet? When he grew up, he should have conquered and destroyed this planet."

"Yet, it seems like he's forgotten his mission!"

"How strange..."

They conversed as if no one else was there, paying no mind to the eyes on them as they continuously sized up Son Goku, particularly his innocent-looking eyes, which felt completely foreign to them.

That didn't seem like the gaze of a Saiyan at all!

What Saiyan would have such a pure and innocent expression?

Even though they had changed a little over time, they didn't consider themselves inherently kind-hearted. It was just that, when dealing with their own people or when Earth became their base, they acted a bit more civil.

When it came to enemies or outsiders, they were still the most ruthless demons.

As they continued their discussion, Son Goku scratched his head in confusion and stepped forward.

"Why do you all have tails?"

"And they're exactly like mine."

Hearing this, the Saiyans exchanged glances. At this moment, they could confirm it—this Saiyan had likely forgotten.

It was probably due to some kind of accident, which caused him to forget his mission as a Saiyan.

However, that might not necessarily be a bad thing.

"Us?"

"We are the Saiyan race, the strongest warrior race in the universe. And yes, you're one of us, but you seem to have forgotten your mission long ago."

"What happened to you?"

"My grandpa told me that when I was little, I was very naughty and fell off a cliff. I ended up hitting my head," Son Goku answered earnestly.

The group of Saiyans suddenly understood.

No wonder he had lost his memory—it was because he hit his head, which made him forget the Saiyan mission.

But this might not be a bad thing. After all, Planet Vegeta had long been destroyed, and the old Saiyan ways no longer applied. Whether he remembered or not didn't matter anymore.

And finding another member of their race was a source of joy for them. At least their numbers had increased again.

"Ah, that explains it. But it doesn't really matter anymore. Our home planet was destroyed a long time ago, so whether you remember or not makes no difference."

"Even though you're a low-class warrior, reaching this level is already quite impressive. But your combat power is still too weak."

"We're going to give you more rigorous training next. If you don't start improving soon, you'll easily fall behind."

"You need to get stronger; otherwise, we won't be able to face our leader with any pride."

Karl and the others chatted amongst themselves, completely ignoring the Earth warriors, leaving them out of the conversation.

At first, the Earth warriors' curiosity had been piqued, but now, they were starting to feel a bit of resentment.

"Sure, you guys may be of the same race, but isn't it a bit rude to ignore us like this?"

Suddenly, Yamcha spoke up, and his words immediately broke the atmosphere. Everyone felt the tension rise.

The Saiyans turned to look at him.

"Indeed. We got so caught up in discovering another Saiyan that we completely forgot about you all. Leaving you out was quite rude of us."

"But it works out. A battle power of 20,000 may have been impressive for a low-class warrior in the past, but that doesn't mean much now."

"Let's show you what real power looks like..."
