Douluo’s Fate Blessed Melee Archer

Chapter 151: Chapter 151: No Banquet Lasts Forever, Setting Out Again

Chapter 151: No Banquet Lasts Forever, Setting Out Again

Hearing Qian Renxue's words, Han Li couldn't help but chuckle. He turned his head to look at her.

"If domains were really that easy to learn, that would be great. But do you think, given the current relationship between the Worship Hall and the Pope's Hall, that those two Titled Douluo would actually teach me?"

Qian Renxue thought for a moment before shaking her head.

"I was able to comprehend a domain, of course, because of my unparalleled insight, astonishing intelligence, and extraordinary talent."

Han Li half jokingly replied, though in his mind, he silently added that he also had the support of the world's consciousness.

Then, he saw Qian Renxue nod in agreement.

Well, that saved him from having to explain.

Over the past few years in the Spirit Hall, he hadn't done much, but every action he took was enough to shake the entire continent. Naturally, others would believe him.

"Can you tell me about that small scale domain technique of yours?"

Qian Renxue hesitated for a moment before quickly adding, "Of course, I'm willing to pay a price how about another soul bone?"

"And just like with your Gale's Breathless Slash, I swear on the Angel God's name that I won't share it with anyone else."

Seeing that the "harvest" was willingly offering itself, Han Li had no reason to refuse.

He wasn't a particularly generous person, but some things were meant for his own people anyway. Since Qian Renxue was even adding to the offer, there was no reason for him to reject it.

Before long, he had taught Qian Renxue the key techniques behind it.

At its core, it was just a series of minor applications of spiritual power and soul power. But even so, Qian Renxue listened with great interest.

Han Li couldn't help but sigh internally. Douluo Continent is still too primitive. The restrictive cultivation rules and the advantage granted by martial soul quality have made the strongest individuals lose their initiative to explore deeper techniques.

And for those at the bottom, even if someone actually researches and succeeds, they have little chance to stand out. After all, techniques are only useful among those of the same level.

Here, spending years refining skills is far less practical than just obtaining another soul ring.

Once Qian Renxue absorbed the knowledge and conducted a simple test, she couldn't yet control it to the extent that Han Li could covering only the surface of her body.

However, compared to before, where activating her domain instantly turned her into a walking LED beacon, she had improved significantly.

Seeing her excitement, Han Li reminded her again, "For now, increasing your soul power is still the most important thing. Don't put too much focus on this."

Qian Renxue smiled at his words and withdrew her domain.

"Don't worry, I know. At the very least, I won't let you surpass me in soul power so easily."

Han Li nodded. As long as she understood.

"Alright, let's head out. Weren't you going to let me see the strength of those three?"

Qian Renxue looked at Han Li. After her battle with him, she had become curious about the three girls as well.

"Then let's go. I'll show you what true soul master training looks like."

Han Li smiled. He had full confidence in the three of them.

The battle itself wasn't particularly noteworthy.

With her superior martial soul and soul power, Qian Renxue faced the three girls. Although they posed some difficulties, she ultimately secured an easy victory.

However, her view of them changed. These three were far too strong for ordinary Soul Kings most Soul Emperors would be helpless against them.

She now regarded them with the same importance as the top tier geniuses, not just as Han Li's companions.

Especially Xiu'er. Her unexpected combat style and that one claw strike, which nearly shattered all of Qian Renxue's soul power, left a deep impression.

Qian Renxue was certain if Xiu'er grew stronger, even Grandfather Jin Crocodile would be completely overpowered by her.

Then there was Dugu Yan, whose flame abilities were no weaker than her own. And Shui Bing'er, who could suppress her fire abilities with ice.

Each of them had developed their own unique combat styles, combining their martial souls with self created soul skills. Against them, any Soul Sage below their level would be utterly crushed.

Qian Renxue was inwardly astonished.

The people Han Li had gathered if they matured would all, at minimum, reach the strength of Worship Hall Elders, if not surpass them.

His ability to gather and train talent was actually greater than that of the entire Spirit Hall.

As for the Spirit Hall's side, she didn't even consider Hu Liena and her group anymore. Without the opportunity to become the "Golden Generation," they were insignificant. Spirit Hall never lacked ordinary Titled Douluo level fighters.

Even with their martial soul fusion technique, Hu Liena and her brother Xie Yue were at best on par with Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo and their fusion wasn't even as powerful.

Then, Han Li would be the first person she conquered for the Heaven Dou Empire.

Qian Renxue quietly confirmed her future goal.

Unaware that Qian Renxue had set such ambitious plans, Han Li was quite satisfied with the three girls' performance.

Even against Qian Renxue, they hadn't crumbled instantly. Each had displayed their full strength and handled the battle well. Their training hadn't been in vain.

Xiu'er's explosive movement techniques and Bajiquan, Dugu Yan's flame control and solid close combat skills, Shui Bing'er's ice manipulation and battlefield control all were enough to ensure they could handle their upcoming journey.

In the following days, they received Qian Renxue's warm hospitality, experiencing firsthand the luxury of the royal family. As their time there came to an end, Han Li formally bid farewell to Qian Renxue.

"Leaving so soon?" Qian Renxue's expression was slightly dazed.

Over the past few days, though she had spent most of the time interacting with Han Li as Xue Qinghe, she had found her mood improving significantly. She had even started to enjoy the feeling of having friends.

"No banquet lasts forever. A temporary farewell is just for a better reunion in the future."

Han Li had guessed what she was thinking and offered some philosophical words.

"That makes sense. I was just overthinking."

Qian Renxue repeated his words, then regained her composure, elegantly raising the cup on the table and extending it forward.

"For a better future, cheers."

Her emotions affected the others, and they all lifted their cups, downing their drinks with laughter.

Of course, the cups only contained Han Li's signature fruit juice he didn't drink alcohol.

Their return journey went without incident. Any hidden threats had long been dealt with, their remains scattered like dust in the wind.

"See you next time, then. Don't forget what I told you."

Before parting, Han Li sent Qian Renxue a private voice transmission.

Dressed once again as Xue Qinghe, Qian Renxue nodded before formally going her separate way.

The Ye family… I never expected such an interesting situation. For now, it's best not to get involved.

In the future, perhaps I can use my status as Crown Prince to bring the Ye family directly under my wing. Making Ye LingLing a candidate for imperial consort wouldn't be a bad choice… though I wonder if Han Li would accept it.

Forget it, better not act rashly. It wasn't easy to gain a real friend I don't want to lose one so soon.

Meanwhile, Han Li and his group returned directly to Spirit Hall.

"Are we leaving tomorrow?" Dugu Yan looked at Han Li and asked.

"The day after tomorrow. Go say goodbye to Ye LingLing later. For now, we shouldn't make direct contact with her. But you can give her a hint as long as she swears on her martial soul, we will solve her martial soul's problem within three years at most."

Han Li thought for a moment and decided to relax the restrictions slightly, considering Ye LingLing's situation.

"Alright, no problem! I knew you were the best, Han Li."

Dugu Yan smiled happily and took the opportunity to give him a kiss.

"The day after tomorrow, we'll do a little disguise and switch to another carriage."

At this point, Han Li turned to Dugu Bo.

"Grandfather, please continue driving this carriage towards Spirit City. As for any spies… eliminate them directly."

"We'll wait for you at the estate twenty kilometers outside Heaven Dou City. We need to 'disappear' for a while."

"Alright, leave it to me."

Dugu Bo didn't even ask what Han Li was planning next he simply agreed.

On the morning of the third day, just as they had arrived, they departed in a similar fashion.

Under the watchful eyes of many, Dugu Bo drove the carriage out of the city gates, heading toward Spirit City.

"The Holy Son of Spirit Hall has left, carrying the friendship of Heaven Dou back to Spirit City."

"Yes, and Lord Dugu is probably someone we won't see again."

"That's true. But he accepted the Crown Prince's invitations multiple times. I heard they had great conversations."

"Yeah, I heard that too. Oh, by the way, how much is this dish?"

As the common folk chatted, the topic of the Holy Son of Spirit Hall gradually faded from their minds, replaced by the trivial concerns of daily life.

These great figures were simply too distant from their world.

What they didn't know was that, as they spoke, another luxurious carriage passed through the central streets, carrying the supposedly departed Holy Son of Spirit Hall.

"Han Li, where are we heading next?"

As usual, Dugu Yan was the first to speak. After exploring Heaven Dou City, she was even more eager for the journey ahead.

"Let's return to Nuoding City first. It's been a long time since we last went back."

Han Li stretched lazily and glanced at Xiu'er. After all, that was where their journey had begun.

A hint of joy flashed across Xiu'er's face she had been wanting to go back as well.

What Han Li didn't say was that he also planned to take her back to their old village, even if it had long since turned to ruins.

Ever since she was rescued, Xiu'er had never dared to return to the village where she once lived. Even when paying respects to her parents, she only went to their graves.

But now, she was no longer the weak little girl she used to be. It was time to overcome the shadow of the past.

If possible, Han Li would have preferred to protect Xiu'er and let her live a peaceful and happy life.

But now, that was clearly impossible.

Whether by choice or circumstance, he had already been pushed onto a path he could not turn back from. Even though he had backup plans, he still wanted to hold the reins of fate in his own hands.
