Chapter 112: Mission Accomplished Reactions from All Sides

"Your Eminence, is Bing'er's situation really that serious?"

Su Rou remained silent for a while, seemingly making a decision before finally raising her head to look at Guang Ling.

Guang Ling glanced at her and chuckled before speaking, "Hard to say. Maybe she'll naturally learn to control it over time. I mean, it's been so many years, and nothing's happened yet, right?"

Instead of feeling reassured by his words, the women in the room became even more anxious.

"Your Eminence, does your previous statement about taking Bing'er as a disciple still stand?"

Su Rou, realizing the situation had changed, clenched her teeth and took the initiative to ask.

"Hmm…"

Guang Ling hesitated, as if weighing the pros and cons, not giving a direct answer.

"Tianshui Academy is willing to fully submit to Spirit Hall's authority from now on."

Seizing the moment before Guang Ling could refuse, Su Rou spoke again, pulling the other three to bow deeply.

"What's this? Are you trying to threaten me?"

Seeing them bow, Guang Ling's expression turned displeased.

"We wouldn't dare. Su Rou sincerely wishes to join Spirit Hall. Please forgive me, Your Eminence."

She lowered her stance as much as possible, afraid of provoking Guang Ling's ire.

"Sigh, I already said I didn't come here for that. You're making things difficult for me."

Behind him, Han Li nearly lost his composure at his master's perfectly villainous lines.

'Master, drop the act. If you keep going, once Uncle Qingluan takes her as a disciple, you won't be able to face Shui Bing'er in the future.'

A subtle mental message entered Guang Ling's mind, making him pause briefly. He shot an irritated glance at Han Li, displeased at having his performance interrupted.

However, with Han Li's reminder, he decided to rein it in. Looking at the bowing women, he finally said, "Fine, get up. I, Guang Ling, always keep my word. Since I said I'd accept a disciple on my brother's behalf, I won't go back on it."

Seeing them rise and breathe a sigh of relief, he continued, "But since you've declared loyalty to Spirit Hall, I'll accept it. I honestly hadn't planned on it before. From today onward, Tianshui Academy will be a subordinate academy of Spirit Hall."

Su Rou and the other woman's expressions darkened slightly.

Guang Ling eyed them before deliberately pausing for effect. Then he added, "However, even though you've joined Spirit Hall, to be honest, we don't particularly need another subordinate academy. So, rest assured, you will still have significant autonomy and independence."

"Spirit Hall will not interfere in any of your internal matters. Everything will remain as it was before. The only thing required of you is to publicly stand with Spirit Hall when the time comes."

"That said, I do not want to see another situation where, in this city, the academy holds more power than Spirit Hall. Understood?"

His tone grew slightly heavier at the end.

Su Rou and the other woman exchanged a glance, detecting an unexpected hint of good fortune. They had not expected the terms to be so lenient. Immediately, they bowed deeply. "Understood, Your Eminence."

"Good."

Guang Ling nodded in satisfaction.

"One more thing. Now that Shui Bing'er has become my brother's disciple, I'll give you a guarantee once we return to Spirit City and the formal apprenticeship is complete, we will immediately begin solving her martial soul issues."

"And once that's resolved, she will, at minimum, achieve the rank of Super Douluo in the future. I can personally assure you of that. So, do you have any other questions?"

Guang Ling straightened up, smiling, no longer as overbearing as before.

Su Rou and the other woman exchanged glances and shook their heads.

Just as Guang Ling was about to stand, a soft voice suddenly spoke.

"Your Eminence, does Bing'er have to leave today? Can she stay a few more days?"

Following the voice, Guang Ling and Han Li saw that it was Shui Yue'er, who had been almost invisible throughout the conversation.

Guang Ling was momentarily surprised before smiling.

"That's fine. Since you've already agreed, there's no rush to leave today."

After some thought, he added, "I'll give you one week. How about that? After one week, she will leave with us."

Shui Yue'er's unexpected request turned out to be a pleasant surprise for the group. They immediately expressed their gratitude.

Seeing the four of them visibly relax, Guang Ling and Han Li exchanged glances before decisively choosing to leave.

Once they were respectfully escorted out of the estate, Han Li turned to his master.

"Master, if her martial soul hadn't lost control and they still refused, what would you have done?"

Guang Ling rolled his eyes at him. "Then I'd have left. What else? They're a neutral force, not an enemy. This isn't open warfare. Do you think I'd massacre the estate? That would be something only an idiot would do."

"As long as they know that two Super Douluo are watching them, we wouldn't even need to do anything. They'd eventually agree on their own. Don't be fooled although the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan wants to slowly absorb them, as long as they're not completely foolish, they wouldn't dare make a move right now."

"That idiot Bibi Dong failed to grasp this. That's why she got dragged into a political quagmire, playing petty power games with those weaklings and lowering her own standing. Hah, the so called 'Top Three Sects' what a joke. We fabricated that concept just to make those sects fight among themselves, and she actually believed it. Tell me, isn't she an idiot?"

"Mark my words. If she had just sent that Chrysanthemum freak to the elemental academies and had him show up occasionally, without doing anything else, they would've all submitted to Spirit Hall within six months. If not, I'd reverse my name."

Han Li chuckled. Though his master's words were harsh, they made perfect sense.

Like Bibi Dong, he too had been limited by superficial political concerns, but thanks to Guang Ling's guidance, he had quickly seen the bigger picture.

As for when Bibi Dong would realize it herself… well, that was up to her.

With everything settled, the master and disciple took up residence at the local Spirit Hall.

Han Li returned to training, while Guang Ling began overseeing the restructuring following Tianshui Academy's integration into Spirit Hall.

This time, the Elder's Hall was directly intervening in the Pope's administrative affairs.

Seven days flew by.

With Tianshui Academy's full cooperation, Spirit Hall swiftly regained control of the city. In fact, they went a step further and formally annexed it, making it directly governed by Spirit Hall, rather than a vassal of the Heaven Dou Empire.

Rumors spread wildly, but the moment people realized that a Spirit Hall Titled Douluo had personally handled the matter, all the other factions fell silent. Even the Heaven Dou Empire, the city's former "owner," didn't dare say a word and simply acted as if nothing had happened.

The only ones who reacted strongly were those in Spirit City, who bombarded them with emergency messages demanding an explanation.

Guang Ling? He didn't even bother reading them. He just dumped them straight into the trash. He wasn't about to waste time arguing with fools.

On the morning of the eighth day, a luxurious carriage departed from Spirit Hall.

After stopping at the Shui family's estate, it left the city in full view of various hidden spies, boldly heading toward Spirit City.
