Renxue asked, "Previously, you mentioned selling Ancient Mythril in the Void Market and Auction. What exactly are they?"

Ditian explained, "After one conquers the ultimate treasure of a realm, they essentially gain ownership of that level. Any unclaimed treasures within it belong to them. What they do with the realm is their choice—some live in it, some establish footholds like civilizations, and others create cities and markets.

The Void Treasure Realm is a meeting point for countless civilizations, each bringing unique treasures—artifacts from their worlds or those discovered in the Void. You can find all sorts of strange things in these markets, some rare, some unique… but the variety is unmatched."

Renxue nodded. "If we can meet people from different civilizations, that means others have met as well, right?"

Ditian nodded in confirmation.

She continued, "Then what is the Federation's stance on this? Contact with other civilizations can be a blessing or a curse. Powerful ones would naturally try to exploit rising ones."

Ditian shook his head. "That's not an issue. Most civilizations are light-years apart, sometimes even in different galaxies. Unless one possesses extremely advanced spatial technology or artifacts, traveling across universes—let alone bringing an army—is nearly impossible.

Besides, most civilizations have divine realms protecting them. A cosmic civilization without a divine realm is rare. However, our case is unique."

Almighty, who had been silent until now, asked, "How so?"

Ditian's golden eyes darkened slightly. "We once had a divine realm, ruled by five God-King level deities. However, it vanished due to a cosmic storm. No one dares to provoke its wrath should it return and find our world occupied by outsiders."

Everyone nodded in understanding.

After some time, Bibi Dong asked, "You said that clearing a trial grants ownership of the ultimate treasure and control over that level. What happens to the guardian beast? Does it leave, or...?"

Ditian shook his head. "That depends on the guardian beast. It has the freedom to stay or leave."

Bibi Dong hummed in thought.

Renxue then asked, "Your Cosmic Survey Compass is an Ultimate-rank artifact. That means you own an area in the Void Treasure Realm. What trial did you complete to obtain it? Also, does the Federation have its own footholds there?"

Ditian nodded. "The Federation controls five Rank-Nine areas and has established stable footholds there. Two are under direct Federation control. The other three belong to different factions—Tang Sect, Shrek Academy, and the Spirit Pagoda. The last one belongs to me. These are the highest-ranked areas affiliated with the Federation.

Below them, many other areas of various ranks are owned by individuals from the Federation."

Xuanyu nodded. "And how do you use the area under your control?"

Ditian replied, "I use it as a foothold and a marketplace for spirit beasts to sell treasures they've found or cultivated—things like heavenly and earthly treasures. However, the Void Treasure Realm has countless markets, so mine isn't particularly well-known. We lack something uniquely valuable to stand out."

Trade & Currency in the Void

Bibi Dong asked, "What about currency? Is there a universal exchange system?"

Ditian nodded. "Predator Beast Cores serve as the common currency since they are widely obtainable. However, many still rely on barter to trade goods directly."

Renxue's eyes gleamed with interest. "And the Void Auction? How is it different?"

Ditian's expression grew more serious. "The Void Auction is on a completely different level. It's a grand event where the most powerful factions and individuals gather to bid on treasures far beyond what you'd typically find in the market.

Ancient Mythril would fetch a high price there, but whether to sell it in the auction or the market depends on what you hope to gain in return."

The group continued discussing the Void Treasure Realm, but Renxue's mind was already focused on the auction.

She leaned forward. "Tell me more about the Void Auction. How exactly does it work?"

Ditian smirked, recalling something intriguing. "Unlike markets, where trade is direct, the Void Auction is highly organized. Only the rarest and most valuable treasures are put up for bidding. The auction is neutral ground, ensuring both buyers and sellers are safe—even sworn enemies set aside their grudges for a chance at obtaining wealth and power."

Xuanyu narrowed his eyes. "Who organizes the auction?"

Ditian leaned back. "Every auction is overseen by a single entity—an Overseer. Their authority is absolute within the auction house. They ensure fairness, enforce the rules, and prevent any conflicts from escalating. Even the most powerful beings wouldn't dare to violate the auction's laws unless they wished to face the Overseer's wrath."

Everyone was taken aback.

Xuanyu asked, "Why does an Overseer preside over the auctions?"

Ditian paused, his golden eyes narrowing as if recalling something buried deep. "This particular Overseer is unlike any other. Most Overseers remain aloof, indifferent to worldly affairs. But this one willingly governs the auctions.

It does not speak. It does not show emotion. It merely watches, ensuring every deal is honored and every transaction remains unquestionable. Every transaction is conducted under its name, guaranteeing fairness."

Lan Xuanyu's curiosity deepened. "Has anyone ever tried to challenge its authority? Maybe disrupt an auction or steal something?"

Ditian let out a low chuckle, devoid of humor—only warning. "Once. A God-King level being attempted to manipulate the bidding process, believing himself untouchable."

Xuanyu leaned in. "What happened?"

Ditian's expression darkened. "He ceased to exist."

A cold chill ran down everyone's spine.

"No struggle. No resistance. No trace of his power or soul remained. One moment he was there, the next… it was as if he had never been born."

Lan Xuanyu exhaled slowly. The more he learned about these Overseers, the more terrifying they became. This wasn't just power—it was something beyond comprehension. Absolute. Final.

After a long silence, Almighty spoke hesitantly. "Then… does this Overseer have a name?"

Ditian's gaze turned distant. "It is known by a single title—The Silent Arbiter."
