Lin Yongming walked out of the house and saw Blue Silver Emperor standing in the yard, lost in thought.

"Ah Yin, what are you thinking about? It's time for breakfast," Lin Yongming said, walking up to her. When she didn't respond, he raised his voice slightly.

"You're going to kill me with that loud voice!" Blue Silver Emperor jumped, glaring at him and giving him a light smack.

"Ah Yin, are you thinking about last night?"

"I didn't do anything!" Lin Yongming quickly assured her.

Blue Silver Emperor's face turned slightly red again. "Enough, don't bring it up. I wasn't thinking about that. I just stayed up late last night, and my mind is still a bit foggy. Let's go eat."

"Oh," Lin Yongming nodded.

"Why does he have to bring up the most awkward thing?" Blue Silver Emperor thought to herself, pouting inwardly.

By the third day after returning to Spirit City, Bibi Dong noticed that the large square in front of the Spirit Hall was filled with nearly a hundred cages.

Inside these cages were prisoners who had been recently captured, including Torres and Bishop Greenk.

The spectacle naturally drew a crowd of onlookers, who were buzzing with speculation about what had happened.

"I only wanted to make an example of a few, but who knew we'd uncover so many people secretly undermining the Spirit Hall's reputation? No wonder the Spirit Hall's progress has been so slow in recent years. It's because of all these parasites."

As Bibi Dong approached the entrance of the Pope's Hall, she could hear her teacher's furious voice echoing from inside.

"Elder Ju, are you sure these are all of them?"

"Your Holiness, these are the ones with solid evidence against them. There are others who've only committed minor offenses, but without concrete evidence, I didn't pursue further. I've issued warnings and kept records of their actions."

Bibi Dong waited outside for a moment until the voices inside quieted down before entering the hall.

"Your disciple pays respects to the teacher!" Bibi Dong knelt on one knee.

"Your subordinate pays respects to Your Holiness!" The two behind her, Ye Ying and Bi Shi, also knelt.

"Dong'er, you've worked hard on this trip. You've done well," the Pope said, his expression softening as he looked at Bibi Dong.

"Teacher, you flatter me. This trip was enlightening, and as the Holy Maiden of the Spirit Hall, it's my duty. I don't consider it hard work," Bibi Dong replied earnestly.

"Take a couple of days to rest. We'll begin the trials in two days," the Pope said calmly.

"Understood!"

Two days later, outside the gates of Spirit City, the Pope announced the crimes of Torres and the others.

"Execution by beheading, as a warning to all!"

As soon as the Pope finished announcing the crimes, he ordered the executions to be carried out.

"The Spirit Hall is actually willing to execute Spirit Sages!"

"They all deserved to die!"

Since the Spirit Hall carried out the executions publicly, news of the event quickly spread to other factions.

The move sent shockwaves through the continent.

Among the hundred or so executed were five Spirit Sages, over thirty Spirit Emperors, and nearly forty Spirit Kings.

Such a loss of power would have been devastating for any other faction, but the Spirit Hall carried out the executions without hesitation, demonstrating both resolve and determination.

Within three days of the executions, the news had spread across the entire continent.

"Father, mother, sister… although I didn't kill them myself, I was the one who sent them to the execution platform. I've finally avenged you."

"Please rest in peace."

Upon hearing the news from Spirit City, Wang Ming knelt before three graves, weeping.

Wang Ming wasn't the only one. Many others who had suffered at the hands of these criminals also knelt before the graves of their loved ones.

Meanwhile, the Spirit Hall's decisive actions sent shockwaves through the various branch halls in other cities and towns, leaving many feeling uneasy.

Not long after, the villagers of Thunderstorm Village also heard the news from Wuer Town and quickly spread it throughout the village.

Lin Yongming naturally overheard his parents, Lin Chong and Ying Lan, discussing the matter.

"Xiao Ming, the Spirit Hall is really ruthless. They didn't hesitate to execute Spirit Sages," Blue Silver Emperor said, surprised by the news.

"What goes around comes around. The Spirit Hall, as the governing force of the spirit master world, had to act decisively. If they hadn't, it would have shown that the Spirit Hall was beyond saving," Lin Yongming said with a calm smile.

"I have to admit, the Spirit Hall has kept many spirit masters in check. It's hard to imagine what the continent would be like without the Spirit Hall."

"Would spirit masters coexist peacefully, or would there be endless deceit, murder, and plunder?" Blue Silver Emperor, though a spirit beast, had come to understand the role the Spirit Hall played after spending so much time in the human world.

Without the Spirit Hall, spirit masters would run rampant, affecting not only ordinary people but also the survival of spirit beasts.

Lin Yongming also understood that the apparent lack of conflict between the top three sects and the lower four sects was largely due to the presence of the Spirit Hall. Without it, the delicate balance between the sects and the Spirit Hall would not exist.

Two more days passed.

On this day, a group of uninvited guests arrived at the entrance of Thunderstorm Village.

The group made their way to Lin Yongming's house, where Lin Chong and Ying Lan greeted them.

"Holy Maiden, what brings you here so suddenly?" Lin Chong stepped out of the yard to welcome them.

"Uncle Lin, I've come on the orders of His Holiness the Pope to reward Lin Yongming. Is he here?" Bibi Dong asked, noticing that Lin Yongming wasn't home.

"I see. Xiao Ming is currently cultivating on the mountain behind the village," Lin Chong said, pointing toward the hill.

"Thank you, Uncle Lin," Bibi Dong nodded and led her four companions toward the mountain.

It was around ten in the morning, and Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Emperor were still meditating on the hill, facing the sun.

Suddenly, Lin Yongming sensed someone approaching through his mind's eye and quickly recognized Bibi Dong.

"She just left ten days ago. Why is she back already?"

"Wait!"

Remembering that Blue Silver Emperor was beside him, Lin Yongming quickly scanned the area to see if a Titled Douluo was secretly following Bibi Dong.

After a thorough check, Lin Yongming found no signs of anyone hiding in the shadows.

Only the four people with Bibi Dong were visible: Bi Shi and Ye Ying, both Spirit Sages, along with Bishop Xia and Deacon Xu Qing from Wuer Town.

"Good, good. She didn't bring Ghost Douluo this time!" Lin Yongming sighed in relief. "But why is Bibi Dong here again?"

"Huh? Xiao Ming, it seems someone's coming. Their steps are steady, and their breathing is controlled. They must be high-level spirit masters," Blue Silver Emperor said, sensing the approaching figures.

"It's probably someone from the Spirit Hall," Lin Yongming nodded.

"Oh… I see now. It's that Holy Maiden from the Spirit Hall again," Blue Silver Emperor said, standing up and looking toward the path leading up the hill.

"Is that so?" Lin Yongming replied, feigning surprise.

Bibi Dong and her group soon arrived in front of Lin Yongming.

"Holy Maiden, your sudden visit is an honor," Lin Yongming said, stepping forward.

"Cut the formalities. We're familiar with each other. Call me Bibi Dong," Bibi Dong said, slightly annoyed.

"But you're the Holy Maiden of the Spirit Hall. Our Xiao Ming is just being polite. What if you accuse him of disrespecting his superiors?" Blue Silver Emperor said, stepping to Lin Yongming's side.

"And what about you?" Bibi Dong asked, turning to Blue Silver Emperor.

"I'm not a member of the Spirit Hall," Blue Silver Emperor replied with a smirk.

Bibi Dong's expression hardened, and she gave Blue Silver Emperor a stern look.

Blue Silver Emperor met her gaze without flinching.

"Uh… Holy Maiden, what brings you here?" Lin Yongming interjected, trying to ease the tension.

Hearing Lin Yongming's voice, Bibi Dong shifted her attention.

"It's nothing major. His Holiness the Pope has decided to reward you for your role in the recent trials. You've been awarded ten thousand gold spirit coins as encouragement to continue contributing to the Spirit Hall," Bibi Dong said with a smile.

"That's right! Lin Yongming, thanks to you, our branch hall has also benefited," Bishop Xia added.

"Really? Thank His Holiness for his encouragement," Lin Yongming said gratefully, then turned to Bibi Dong. "But such a small matter could have been handled by someone else. Why did you come all the way from Spirit City?"

"My teacher said that only my presence could convey the Spirit Hall's sincerity," Bibi Dong replied.

"Uh…" Lin Yongming was at a loss for words. The Pope would never have said such a thing.

"Heh! I think someone just wanted an excuse to see a certain someone," Blue Silver Emperor said, seeing right through Bibi Dong.

"Heh! And someone else is shamelessly staying at someone else's house without a care," Bibi Dong shot back.

"Someone else could do the same, but I doubt their family would approve," Blue Silver Emperor retorted.

"It seems we need to settle this with a spar. I wonder if someone has the guts," Bibi Dong said, her voice tinged with anger.

"I wouldn't dare. I don't want to bully someone and then have them call for backup when they lose."

The two girls suddenly began to clash, leaving everyone else bewildered.

"Are they… about to kiss?" Xu Qing whispered to Bishop Xia.

"Ah! It seems this fight is inevitable," Lin Yongming thought, watching the tension between the two.

Lin Yongming sighed helplessly. It seemed that Bibi Dong and Blue Silver Emperor were destined to clash whenever they met.

"If you're too scared to spar, then you're just a useless vase by someone's side," Bibi Dong said with a mocking smile.

"I'm just worried you'll lose face in front of your subordinates and tarnish the Holy Maiden's reputation," Blue Silver Emperor fired back.

"Let's see about that!"

"Fine by me."

The two girls stepped back, summoning their spirits and spirit rings.

Lin Yongming could only watch helplessly. The tension had escalated to this point, and there was no stopping them now.
