Dugu Bo dismissed the poison cloud shortly after, revealing a chilling sight. No trace of Yu Yuanzhen's followers remained—just green bloodstains on the ground, without a single body left intact.

Everyone on the battlefield, apart from Su Ming, was dumbfounded. One poisonous attack had wiped out all the opponents?

Even though Dugu Yan had anticipated the potency of her grandfather's poison, she was shocked. The strength of his poison was staggering!

At that moment, Yu Yuanzhen looked around, stunned, and then at Dugu Bo, realizing the aura radiating from him was now at level 96.

"This can't be!" Yu Yuanzhen shouted in fury. "Dugu Bo, how did you get so strong so suddenly? Just over a year ago, weren't you only level 91?"

Dugu Bo felt nothing but satisfaction, enjoying the priceless look on Yu Yuanzhen's face. "Oh, I have my ways," he replied, holding back a grin.

Yu Luomian and his allies were thrilled. This battle was as good as won!

Yu Yuanzhen, enraged, roared, "Impossible! Just a year ago, you were nothing but a weakling, barely holding off your own poison! How could you possibly have grown this much?"

Dugu Bo: ...

Su Ming: laughs internally

Yu Yuanzhen suddenly pieced it together, pointing an accusing finger at Su Ming. "It was you, wasn't it? You must have cured Dugu Bo's poison and helped him grow in power!"

Su Ming, momentarily caught off guard, tried to remain composed, but Yu Yuanzhen's insight had hit close to home.

"Hahaha!"

"Well done, Su Ming! Now it all makes sense why Dugu Bo is by your side. But I swear—once I get your technique, I'll make you pay for every one of my lost men!" Yu Yuanzhen's eyes glinted with malice as he swore vengeance, resolute in his decision to kill Su Ming after extracting the technique.

Assessing the situation, Yu Yuanzhen knew he was on equal footing with Dugu Bo, but his lightning powers provided some resistance to the Jade Phosphor poison. He would have to end this quickly.

Boom!

Yu Yuanzhen immediately activated five parts of his dragon form—dragon claws, wings, legs, horns, and scales—releasing a force close to level 97.

"Third Spirit Ability: Wrath of Thunder!"

"First Spirit Ability: Thunder Dragon Claw!"

In a flash, Yu Yuanzhen darted towards Yu Luomian, aiming a lethal attack right at him.

"Father!" Liu Erlong screamed.

Yu Luomian, feeling the overwhelming pressure of the impending death, was paralyzed with fear.

Dugu Bo hadn't expected Yu Yuanzhen to suddenly change targets, and quickly called out, "Su Ming!"

Understanding, Su Ming didn't waste time. Instead of making Dugu Bo defend the attack himself, he conjured a spatial distortion.

"Kamui, Spatial Transmission!"

Instantly, a twisted portal opened between Yu Yuanzhen and Yu Luomian. Yu Yuanzhen's thunderous strike passed through the portal, sending him back to his original spot instead.

Taking advantage of the moment, Su Ming used his wood-based technique to pull Yu Luomian and his remaining allies to safety by his side.

Yu Yuanzhen, now disoriented, was stunned. What technique was this? And where was his brother?

He turned around, only to see Yu Luomian and his people safe near Su Ming.

"Father, you're safe!" Liu Erlong exhaled with relief and cast Su Ming a grateful look, marveling at his unexpected powers.

Yu Luomian, still in shock, couldn't believe he had survived. "Erlong? Am I alive?"

"Yes, father," she reassured him. "Su Ming saved you!"

Yu Luomian, wiping the sweat from his brow, looked at Su Ming with deep gratitude. "Thank you."

Su Ming nodded. "Stay within fifty meters of me, all of you, and let Dugu Bo handle Yu Yuanzhen."

"With me here, I can guarantee your safety." The resolve in Su Ming's voice was enough to convince everyone, even the still-surprised Yu Luomian.
