The plane consciousness favored Gu La greatly, bestowing a large amount of fortune upon him to ensure his smooth ascent and prevent any untimely demise. The trials he would face along the way were meant to serve as exercises for the child.

Sensing that Gu La lacked a martial soul in his body, the plane consciousness gathered natural energy to form a green essence.

Initially, it intended to directly shape the martial soul but failed due to system interference. It then decided to take the easy route and let the child forge his own path.

After completing this, the nascent plane consciousness expended a significant amount of power and fell back into slumber to recover and continue growing.

[Detected plane gift. Converting to points… Conversion failed… Matching rewards…]

Gu La frowned, instinctively reluctant to part with the gift from the natural consciousness, and rejected the system's conversion request.

His consciousness sank into a deep meditative state. The ambient spiritual energy flooded into his body like an endless torrent, rapidly transforming into pure soul power under the influence of the Xuantian Technique. This energy filled his meridians and dantian.

Meanwhile, in the God Realm…

In the main hall of the Divine Council, Asura God was busy attending to the affairs of the God Realm when he sensed the shift in the fortunes of Douluo Star, which surprised him slightly.

This wasn't unusual for Asura God, who had lived billions of years in the God Realm. Everything that occurred could be traced and explained, so nothing typically surprised him.

However, the sudden emergence of plane consciousness on Douluo Star was indeed an unexpected event.

"So, the plane consciousness has been reborn so quickly—it's no wonder it comes from the planet where the Dragon God once walked."

Though surprised, Asura God had no intention of intervening.

Once the chosen one grew strong enough, they would likely choose to ascend to godhood, strengthening the God Realm.

Thus, the Divine Council adopted a non-interference stance toward the plane consciousness. As long as the plane consciousness didn't attempt to break free from the control of the God Realm, the children of fortune it created would ultimately serve the God Realm's interests.

"Still, my chosen one seems to have suffered an unwarranted calamity, losing some of his fortune."

Asura God pondered briefly, opening the central hub of the God Realm to quietly examine Tang San. His expression softened slightly.

"Even a god king creating a child of fortune through divine intervention cannot match the expertise of the plane consciousness."

"After the plane consciousness acted, Tang San lost much of his original plane fortune, but this may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. He gained the legitimacy of Douluo Star, stabilizing his own fortune."

"Losing some superficial fortune is no big deal—there will be more hardships ahead. But this newly born child of fortune on Douluo Star is friends with Tang San, so there won't be any accidents. The outcome remains unchanged."

Having discerned the changes in fortune, Asura God dismissed the matter.

Minor trends can be altered, but major trends cannot be reversed.

Children of nature were rare, but most would eventually align with the God Realm. Should they harbor other ambitions, the five god kings of the God Realm were not to be trifled with.

Tang San was an ideal match for the Asura God position. With the support of the child of fortune, there was no need for intervention—he would undoubtedly walk the path to inheriting the Asura God title.

Confident in his judgment, Asura God returned to handling the affairs of the God Realm.

"What happened? Such a strong wind."

Tang San stepped out of Yu Xiaogang's dormitory and looked up at the sky, watching the strong wind carry leaves away. He was astonished.

He hadn't noticed the loss of fortune, only feeling a brief moment of chest tightness, so he decided to step outside for fresh air.

Yu Xiaogang followed him out.

An afternoon wasn't enough time to dispel Tang San's preconceptions about him, but relying on his extensive knowledge of spirit beasts, Tang San's attitude toward him became more respectful.

"This celestial phenomenon seems to be man-made."

Yu Xiaogang observed for a moment, his expression incredulous.

Tang San also noticed something amiss. The wind was all blowing in one direction, heading straight toward them.

"We'll know if we go and take a look."

Tang San and Yu Xiaogang followed the wind to the garden, where they saw Gu La sitting cross-legged in the center, deep in meditation.

He was the epicenter of the whirlwind, countless breezes converging around him like a gathering of nature spirits paying homage.

Gu La's soul power fluctuations had already reached Level 15, and faint green light continued to flow toward him from all directions.

"This is…" Yu Xiaogang seemed to recall something but hesitated to confirm it.

A shadow appeared behind them—it was Tang Hao, speaking with a complex tone:

"Don't disturb him. This is a legendary deep meditation, a rare opportunity. He has already reached the level of drawing in the forces of heaven and earth."

"Dad!" Tang San happily approached.

Yu Xiaogang looked at Tang Hao's scruffy appearance, furrowing his brows before suddenly realizing something. Excitedly, he exclaimed, "You're Tang Hao…"

"Hush." Tang Hao cut him off rudely.

Yu Xiaogang wasn't offended at all—Tang Hao, the Hao Tian Douluo, was his idol!

Amid his excitement, Yu Xiaogang recalled Tang San's title, and his theory about twin martial souls resurfaced.

If it were the Hao Tian Douluo paired with the Blue Silver King, wouldn't that make a perfect twin martial soul?

But after being struck by Gu La's words earlier, Yu Xiaogang decided to proceed cautiously this time, slowly distancing Tang San from Gu La's influence and guiding him to become his disciple.

Fifteen minutes later, Gu La slowly awakened. The first thing he sensed was that his soul power had broken through to Level 16. Additionally, a mysterious new martial soul essence had appeared in his body, seemingly resonating with items in the system.

Gu La opened the system to review the notifications during his meditation.

[Host received a plane gift. Conversion to points request denied. Title "Chosen One/Legendary Man" automatically activated. Received a full set of random Legendary rewards.]

[Interference by the plane gift, random reward changed to adaptive reward. Congratulations to the Host for obtaining Pokémon: Celebi, equipped with Time Flower (Level 1), and one exclusive move-learning machine (self-selected).]

?

Gu La was bewildered. What was going on? How did he receive a plane gift? And what was with the reward? Why give him Celebi instead of one of those overpowered modified Pokémon?

Wait!

Gu La found the exclusive move-learning machine, opened it, closed it, and opened it again.

He confirmed he hadn't misread. Celebi, also known as the Time Travel Pokémon, was the guardian of the forest and possessed the ability to traverse time and space.

Among Celebi's most famous moves was one called "Future Sight".

"I remember in the game, Future Sight costs thousands of dollars to unlock, and now it's just handed to me!"

Gu La puzzled over it: "Is this due to the plane consciousness's gift or the title?"

Unable to figure it out, he decided not to dwell on it and accepted the rewards.

In an instant, Celebi appeared—a cute, petite figure with a green onion-like head. It chirped softly as it merged with the natural essence within Gu La, becoming his second martial soul.

From afar, Tang San whispered, "The wind has stopped, so why hasn't Brother Gu woken up yet?"

Tang Hao calmly replied, "He's already awake. Perhaps he's stabilizing his newly broken-through soul power."

Yu Xiaogang hesitated before saying, "But I remember reading in a book that soul power gained through deep meditation doesn't require stabilization—it's as if cultivated naturally, with no side effects."

Tang Hao was momentarily speechless. How could he possibly know such details?

Even the concept of deep meditation was something Tang Hao had only heard about once from his grandfather as a child—the specifics had long since faded from memory.
