Chapter 462: Chapter 461: If Blue Silver Grass Can, Why Not Juzi?
Qianran had Nana maintain her forward-bending position; her posture was simply too captivating.
At 1.8 meters tall, with long, curvaceous legs that were both full and toned, Nana's figure was nothing short of stunning.
Qianran didn't spend too much time with her—only about half an hour—but Nana was thoroughly exhausted. Holding such a demanding position, even with her regular training as an agility-based soul master, proved to be a challenge.
"Stupid Qianran, big jerk," Keke muttered under her breath when she saw Qianran emerge.
"What's that you're saying, Keke?" Qianran asked with a teasing smile, walking over to her. Before she could respond, he casually wrapped an arm around her exposed waist.
Keke's figure wasn't overly voluptuous, but it was perfectly balanced for her frame. She wasn't flat either; her petite yet shapely proportions were just right.
"W-what are you doing?" Keke stammered, her voice tinged with nervousness. Her stomach muscles visibly tensed at the unfamiliar closeness.
This was the first time Qianran had been this physically close to her.
"Well, you looked tired from training, so I thought you could lean on me for a bit," Qianran said, tossing out a flimsy excuse.
"Then why are you hugging me?" Keke whispered, her voice barely audible.
"Do you want to lean or not? If not, I'm leaving," Qianran replied with a mock pout.
"I do!" Keke answered hastily, her pride forgotten in an instant.
"Juzi, want to join us?" Qianran glanced at Juzi with a mischievous grin.
Juzi, in Qianran's eyes, was the Sun Moon Empire's unparalleled beauty. She was special, and he wasn't in a rush to win her over.
For Qianran, the journey was as enjoyable as the destination. Taking things too quickly would ruin the fun.
Unlike others, Qianran wasn't desperate to seal the deal; his life wasn't short on female companionship. Ironically, this made him cherish the process far more than the result. Once a woman was fully "his," his interest would often fade.
That's why the old adage about not being too easy to get held some truth—at least for him.
"No thanks. I'm not tired," Juzi said with a slight tilt of her head, though her heart wavered. Qianran's playful charm was maddeningly effective.
Despite already having Nana, he was now teasing Keke too.
Worse still, Keke was falling for it completely, not even hiding her jealousy.
"Then how about conjuring a few oranges for me? I'm thirsty," Qianran said, as he gently guided Keke toward a nearby couch. His hand brushed lightly against her petite, round backside, sending shivers through her body.
Her cheeks flushed a deep crimson as a tingle traveled from where his hand had touched to her heart.
Qianran wasn't fixated solely on long legs—his tastes were far broader.
While he had an undeniable weakness for certain attributes, he appreciated variety and uniqueness.
Keke, for example, belonged to the petite and lively category, much like Xiao Xiao, although Xiao Xiao was more obedient and mild-mannered by comparison.
If Keke was like a feisty kitten, Xiao Xiao was a sweet puppy.
Keke's personality also bore a resemblance to Bing Di—playful yet proud. However, Keke lacked Bing Di's overwhelming power. Physically, Keke was slightly taller, standing just over 1.6 meters, whereas Bing Di was pure loli material.
Qianran often felt a twinge of guilt when dealing with Bing Di, given her diminutive stature, despite her title as one of the Three Kings of the Extreme North. One petite powerhouse was enough for him.
As for Keke, her figure had grown to be like a cute, petite girl blossoming into young womanhood.
The appeal of petite women was undeniable. For someone like Qianran, whose hands were large and strong, there was a certain thrill in being able to easily cover their waists or hips with a single hand.
In contrast, someone like Zhu Ying or Cai Meier required both hands, offering an entirely different but equally enchanting allure.
"You're treating me like an orange tree, aren't you?" Juzi sighed, rolling her eyes before conjuring a few oranges and tossing them to Qianran.
"Thanks, but these oranges are too plain. I've been thinking about improving the species," Qianran said with a laugh.
The system had recently rewarded him with a potion capable of enhancing plant-type martial souls. If he used it on Juzi, her martial soul could evolve dramatically. Who knows? It might even become a top-tier martial soul.
"Stop spouting nonsense!" Juzi snapped, her foot stamping the ground in embarrassment. She thought he was teasing her.
And from a normal perspective, "improving the orange species" did sound like blatant innuendo.
"Juzi, don't overthink it. I'm serious. Your martial soul has potential for growth. You should investigate the Shrek Academy team from the last Advanced Soul Master Tournament. One of their strongest members had a Blue Silver Grass martial soul. Look into it, and you'll see what I mean," Qianran said with a sly smile.
He recalled how weak Tang Ya had been before becoming his woman. Compared to Juzi, she was even more mediocre.
Despite her initial limitations, Tang Ya had transformed into someone formidable, proving that even the most humble martial soul could shine under the right circumstances.
"I'll think about it," Juzi said, her eyes narrowing thoughtfully.
She had heard of Tang Ya, whose Blue Silver Grass martial soul had achieved remarkable feats. Yet Juzi had never connected her strength to Qianran's influence.
From Qianran's tone, though...
If Blue Silver Grass, one of the most derided martial souls, could unleash such power, then why not her Orange martial soul?
Determined, Juzi made a mental note to investigate further. If Qianran truly possessed such capabilities, what would she need to offer in exchange?
The fact that Qianran was training her now felt like an act of generosity—but deep down, Juzi suspected his kindness had ulterior motives.
On the couch, Qianran pulled Keke onto his lap, seating her with her legs on either side of his. His arm wrapped around her waist, while his other hand rested on her hips.
"Peel it for me," he said, holding an orange.
Blushing furiously, Keke hesitated. Normally, her pride would have made her refuse, but her hands moved almost instinctively, peeling the orange and feeding a juicy segment to Qianran.
Her emotions swirled in confusion.
She and Qianran didn't really have a special relationship—so why were they suddenly so close?
Sitting on his lap like this, feeding him fruit like a doting partner... it was almost too much to process.
