Chapter 11: Silver Dragon King.
Lake of Life, Star Dou Forest
Deep within the heart of the Star Dou Forest lay the Lake of Life, a small space was brimming with the essence of creation. Its tranquil, emerald-green waters shimmered under the faint light that filtered through the dense canopy, revealing fragments of the most precious metals of Douluo's world-Life Gold.
At the very center of the lake rested a colossal creature, its immense form radiating power and majesty. The Silver Dragon King, a being of ethereal beauty, lay coiled in a deep, dreamlike slumber. Her gleaming silver scales shimmered like a cascade of molten moonlight, their radiance only outmatched by her piercing violet eyes. Despite her divine perfection, a faint scar marred her back—a reminder of battles fought long ago, an unhealed wound that hinted at vulnerability within her indomitable form.
She was the second half of the Dragon God, the inheritor of his vast elemental dominion: fire, water, earth, wind, light, darkness, space, creation, and destruction. Beyond her powers lay the kindness that once dwelled in the Dragon God's heart, a trait she carried despite her overwhelming might. In her possession was the Silver Dragon Spear, a divine artifact of unparalleled strength.
For countless years, the Silver Dragon King had been in hibernation after fleeing the God Realm. This was the third time she had awakened since her escape, and now her violet eyes regarded the middle-aged man kneeling before her—Di Tian, the Beast God and her most loyal subordinate.
A cold yet melodic feminine voice broke the silence, carrying an air of absolute authority.
"So, you asked why the Heaven and Earth energy is increasing so suddenly?"
Di Tian lowered his head further, his tone filled with reverence.
"Yes, my Lord. Recently, humans have begun to grow stronger at an unprecedented speed. While the surge in Heaven and Earth energy benefits all, it appears to favor humans far more than soul beasts. Even if soul power in the surroundings increases, we soul beasts cannot keep pace with their rapid development. I wish to understand why this is happening and how we should respond."
The Silver Dragon King narrowed her eyes in thought, her massive claw extending forward. A single fingertip brushed the air, and a brilliant sphere of silver soul power surged to life, crackling with elemental might. As the ruler of all elements, the Silver Dragon King was uniquely attuned to the shifts and currents of Heaven and Earth. She could sense a profound change, something that defied the natural order of the Douluo Planet.
Her violet eyes gleamed as she spoke, her voice a blend of authority and contemplation.
"The Douluo Planet… its consciousness has come into contact with something of the same origin, yet distinctly different. It is evolving."
Di Tian's head snapped up in surprise, though he dared not meet her gaze.
"Evolving, my Lord?"
The Silver Dragon King raised her head, her gaze piercing through the canopy as if seeing the boundless starry sky beyond.
"Yes. The Douluo Planet is undergoing a transformation. Evolution on this scale typically takes tens of thousands of years, but now the process is accelerating. There is only one explanation: the Douluo Plane has connected with another plane. It is likely that the two planes are merging."
She paused, her mind delving into the vast repository of knowledge inherited from the Dragon God.
"The evolution of a plane is no small matter. Even the Supreme Gods of the God Realm cannot force a plane to evolve. For such a transformation to occur, one of three conditions must be met. Either the number of powerful life forms within the plane reaches a critical threshold, prompting the core of the plane to evolve, the plane devours the origin of another, or it merges with a foreign plane."
Her voice grew colder, more calculating.
"While the Douluo Planet is home to many powerful beings, they are far from sufficient to trigger evolution. That leaves two possibilities: devouring or merging. And given the evidence, I am inclined to believe it is the latter."
Her voice trailed off as her mind turned to recent reports—of Di Tian about Scarlet King.
Though unclear, the reflections hinted at places foreign yet oddly familiar—glimpses of landscapes and beings that could not belong to the Douluo Plane.
Her instincts, honed through countless eras and amplified by her elemental mastery, warned her that this was no mere illusion.
Before her, Di Tian, the Beast God, knelt respectfully, his head bowed in anticipation of her words.
"You do not need to act just yet," she said, her cold, melodic voice reverberating through the sacred grove. "I have a strong feeling that another plane is merging with ours. This is not mere conjecture; my observations support this as well. I can sense the connection to the God Realm weakening rapidly. If this is indeed a fusion of planes, the process will take time. During this period, the powerful from either side cannot cross over until the connection stabilizes."
Her gaze shifted upward, piercing through the dense canopy toward the unseen stars above.
"As the fusion progresses, the passage between the two planes will stabilize. Only then can the truly strong traverse it. Eventually, when the merger is complete, the Douluo Planet will evolve, expand, and grow stronger—just as it did after the collision between the Sun Moon Continent and Douluo Continent. This evolution may grant soul beasts more space to thrive."
Di Tian's eyes flickered with hope but were tempered by her next words.
"However," she continued solemnly, "for that to happen, we must seize the initiative. If we are to survive, we must defeat the other plane and ensure the soul beast race secures its place. Begin gathering all the 100,000-year-old soul beasts in the Star Dou Forest. Tell them to be prepared for any eventuality."
Di Tian nodded, but his hesitation was evident. "My Lord, what about the Far North? Should we reach out to them and the other soul beast territories?"
The Silver Dragon King paused, her violet eyes narrowing. "It is not time to act openly yet. We cannot risk attracting human attention. As for the Far North…" She trailed off briefly before continuing, "Speak with their leader. When the time comes, they will obey. Until then, do not disturb their affairs unnecessarily."
"Yes, my Lord," Di Tian replied.
As he prepared to leave, the Silver Dragon King raised a claw, halting him. "Wait. Tell me about the state of humanity. The weakening of the God Realm's connection presents an opportunity. I will heal myself at an accelerated pace. To do so, I will send an avatar into the human world. If it can cultivate to the God level independently, I will merge with it, hastening my recovery."
Di Tian's expression tightened. "My Lord, such a move is risky. If your avatar…"
The Silver Dragon King's voice cut him off, sharp and unwavering. "Do not worry about it. Even if there will be any problem it's just a avatar.
Relief washed over Di Tian, and he bowed deeply. "As you command, my Lord."
Once Di Tian departed, the Silver Dragon King stretched out her massive claw, her silver scales gleaming with divine light. She clenched her fist, and the air trembled under the force of her presence.
A cold determination filled her voice as she declared, "I will lead the soul beasts and ascend to the heavens."

Deep within the Heavenly Spirit Mountains of the Heaven Spirit Empire, atop a towering peak, stood an ancient and imposing castle. In the center of its entrance, three large characters, "Clear Sky Sect".
Inside the castle, Niu Tian, the leader of the Clear Sky Sect, stood silently, his long black hair cascading over his shoulders as his grey robe swayed lightly in the mountain breeze. His sharp gaze reflected a deep sense of unease as he observed the subtle but unmistakable changes in the heavens and earth.
Nearby, a little girl with flowing blue and pink hair sat joyfully on the broad shoulder of his younger brother, Tai Tan, her laughter echoing through the halls. Niu Tian's expression softened for a moment before a faint sigh escaped his lips.
"What were you thinking, sending Dong'er to Douluo Continent?" he murmured, his voice heavy with concern. "What lies ahead for Douluo Continent?"
Niu Tian understood the implications all too well. The vitality of heaven and earth on Douluo Continent was subtly growing denser. This was no ordinary occurrence—it was a sign of change.
Though he didn't stay in God Realm for long but he still had some knowledge from there.
The increase in vitality, though small, signaled the beginnings of something far greater: the evolution of the very plane itself. Such transformations rarely came without upheaval, and Niu Tian knew that the once tranquil Douluo Planet was on the brink of turbulent times. The world was shifting, and peace would soon be a distant memory.
