Doraemon: Nobita with Chat Group

Chapter 25: Chapter 25

Chapter 25

3rd POV

In terms of strength, he remains unaware of the full extent of his power. Even after enhancing himself with points, he noticed no significant improvement, as he was already far too powerful for most worlds.

Unlike Nobita, the other group members did not possess any unique enhancements. For them, 100 points translated to the strength of one average person. This is why Liu Peiqiang, after using 500 points, became only five times stronger than the average person.

At a certain point, the increase in strength becomes negligible, even if it adds the equivalent of another person's worth of power. This is similar to what happened with Saitama.

Of course, if it is just to strengthen someone's basic capabilities, or to strengthen only one aspect of themselves, the effect will be much better.

Even so, he did not strengthen anything else, but only his physical capabilities.

But increasing his strength by 100 points does not make him any stronger than he already was.

So, unless it's a huge amount of points in millions or possibly billions, his strength will not change.

So, when he saw that new feature about system tasks, he jumped straight in to try them, because he was too bored.

But when he failed to complete the task, he felt strange that he could not even complete such a simple task.

He didn't think about the world his was in would be a game world, after all, everything there seem pretty real.

He even touched the key part of that Athena.

It felt amazing.

However, when Nobita mentioned something, the strange sensation he had been feeling suddenly vanished.

"The world felt too much like a game." This thought was so absurd to him that he hadn't even considered it a possibility.

The endless tide of monsters, the monsters wave that couldn't be completely cleared, an object to be protected.

Saitama's blood began to flow rapidly.

"Cool! Now I can directly visit game worlds, instead of just playing them!"

Monkey King: "Games? I don't know what games you're talking about. But I'm also playing games with my servant."

Sun Wukong uploaded a video.

In the video, Sun Wukong is in a very beautiful place, which looked like it came straight out of a fairy tale. There were many monkeys and other small animals around.

It should be Flowers and Fruit Mountain AKA Mount Huaguo, the home of Monkey King.

In the sky, countless heavenly soldiers and heavenly generals, and many Buddhist Bodhisattvas and Buddhas full of resentment were surrounding the mountain from all sides.

Sun Wukong sat on Erlang's back crossed legged and ate peaches with a cocky smile.

After eating a peach, he would throw its seed on the ground and to collect those seeds, Buddha came running like a dog playing fetch.

Seeing this scene, Nobita became speechless. He could only think, 'Wukong sure can be petty… but whatever, he's earned it.'

The roles were now reversed, but Wukong added an extra layer of humiliation for Buddha.

The strongest elementary school student in history: "Monkey King, you're enjoying your freedom to the fullest, huh?"

Monkey King: "I sure am! The spell you used on Buddha is miraculous—it's so much fun for me now! All those heavenly fools can only stand by and watch. Hahaha!"

All the beings in heaven could only watch helplessly, unable to intervene. Even if they tried, they would have to face Sun Wukong, who, 200 years ago, was already capable of defeating them all—and he now seemed even stronger. With the Buddha added to the mix, they would stand no chance and face complete annihilation.

The resentment that had been suppressed for more than two hundred years was dissipated at once.

Nobita didn't know how to evaluate Sun Wukong's behavior.

The strongest elementary school student in history: "Monkey King, I understand your grievances, but this kind of revenge is only a temporary fix. Strength is the foundation of everything. While I helped you gain control over the Buddha, now whatever happen in the future depends on you. I suggest you focus on improving yourself so that no one in your world can overpower you again."

Although Wukong was now an old monkey, he still retained a childish side. After finally being freed from 200 years of imprisonment, his petty and playful nature resurfaced.

Even though Nobita was lecturing him about things he hadn't yet considered, Wukong gave it importance because it was Nobita who had freed him. In Wukong's heart, Nobita's status had risen to the level of his revered Teacher.

Monkey King: "...I, I know. But, how can I become stronger? Even spending most of my saved points did not increase my powers by that much."

The world he lives in is an immortal world.

This kind of thing to become stronger, although there are traces to follow, but also consumes a lot of time.

The strongest primary school student in history: "Of course, by completing the system issued tasks!"

Monkey King: "Points don't help me that much... 100,000 points only increase my strength by 10%. I used most of the points I collected to enhance my strength, but they didn't even boost it by 50%."

Before, the reason why Sun Wukong was able to save a huge sum of 100,000 points was also related to his strength.

His current strength is probably around Jade Emperor, but still a bit weaker.

One hundred thousand points could only increase his strength by one-tenth—and that was with him focusing solely on enhancing his physical strength. As a result, his other aspects, such as his soul and mind, didn't improve at all.

Unlike Nobita, whose every aspect improves with each of his enhancements.

For him, he could not rely on that to escape his prison, that's why he didn't use these points on himself after trying for 6 decades.

The strongest elementary school student in history: " If you keep completing those tasks, you'll accumulate more points than you've ever saved. Won't that be helpful to you?"

Monkey King: "I won't~"

He also watched the process of another member attempting to complete the task. The monsters weren't even that strong, but due to the numerous restrictions imposed, even a single mistake could cost them the mission. He couldn't afford to waste his time on all of that.

Hearing him, Nobita became thoughtful, and because he is a very kind person, he gives Wukong an idea to collect points quickly.

The strongest primary school student in history: "When more tasks come up in the future, I'll provide you with targets to choose from and strategies to complete them. That way, you can be mostly sure of finishing the tasks without wasting too much time. You just need to give me half of the points you earn. How does that sound?"

Nobita has to think about himself too, you know? He can't just keep running a charity for everyone.

The richest man is Iron Man: "I can do that!"

Bats can't be eat eaten: "Hmmm."

I will be stronger when my head is bright: "Can I also do that? I'll even give you 70% of my points. It's too boring in my world."

I have nine tails: "I can do that too! Just give me an advance notice, so that I can assign my shadow clones to do my job, believe it!"

At the moment, everyone wanted his help to earn more points. They could certainly try it themselves, but if they couldn't complete a task quickly, they'd end up wasting a lot of their time.

Points were especially useful for the "ordinary" members. Take Tony and Bruce, for example. Even though both were highly capable for "mere" humans without special abilities, they could use points to enhance themselves, which was extremely valuable in their line of work.

Before, they thought points could only be used to issue tasks and occasionally enhance themselves when they had saved enough. Because they didn't earn points quickly, they used them sparingly.

Now, however, they can complete system tasks and collect more points than before, allowing them to enhance themselves much more quickly.

The strongest elementary school student in history: "Do you really want that? I'm going to take half of the points, ya'know?"

The richest man is Iron Man: "It's alright kid! It will be much better than collecting 10-20 points daily."

Bats can't be eaten: "Yes! It will be very beneficial for us."

Tony and Bruce.

Though one belongs to the DC universe and the other to the Marvel world, they share similar traits and identities. Both are wealthy, genius, human heroes.

For them, it could be the edge they need in their work. This way, they can accumulate many points to use in their daily lives as well as in emergencies. And while giving Nobita half of their points may seem expensive, they still end up with much more than their usual daily earnings.

For them, even an E-level task could be dangerous, as they saw Saitama attempting to complete his task. Although it seemed very easy for him, he still failed because he didn't have enough information about that world.

Nobita's help could save them a lot of time, allowing them to go in prepared, with knowledge of the different worlds and their rules.

Nobita smiled slightly.

The strongest elementary school student in history: "Alright, if you guys are okay with it. I'll start tomorrow after making plans for them."

The richest man is Iron Man: "No problem, kid! Just give us all the information you can."

Bats can't be eaten: "Agreed!"

I will be stronger when my head is bright: "Heh~ I'll be able to complete that task now."

Seeing that his negotiation has been completed, Nobita also chose to go offline in a good mood.

'Points are really a good thing!' He thinks gleefully.

He stretched contentedly, feeling as though infinite power was circulating through his body.

"Based on energy level alone, I should have about the same amount as Naruto (and Kurama), right?"

However, he couldn't exactly compare his power to Naruto, as their power systems were completely different. Where they use Chakra, he uses magic.

"Hmmm… Now let's see what exactly that robot did yesterday."

Now that Nobita was paying close attention, he realized he had been chatting through several classes, and now recess had started. He looked around and saw Shizuka sitting at her desk, staring into space.

Nobita thought for a moment, then decided to approach her.

Although he didn't know exactly what the robot had done, he was certain it couldn't have been anything good.

"Hey, Shizuka?"

Shizuka glanced at Nobita and seemed to be still angry.

Seeing her angry expression, he starts explaining, "Shizuka, that was not me yesterday, but Doraemon's gadget that became my copy and attended the class."

"Your… copy?"

Shizuka asks slowly, with a confused look, but no longer angry.

"Yeah... well... because I wanted to go to the future world with Doraemon to buy some things, I used a robot that looked like me to attend class in my place. It was supposed to behave exactly like me since it had my personality and memories.

I don't know how, but somehow, it got hit on the head, which damaged its functionality a bit, causing it to act very differently from me. So… I'm really sorry for whatever that robot did."

Nobita gave her a brief explanation and bowed his head in apology.

"Oh!" She paused, thinking for a moment, then said, "Now that I think about it, he was hit on the head by the teacher because you were too late. You were acting very differently after that!" She accepted Nobita's explanation but scolded him afterward.

"But Nobita! You shouldn't do that. You have to attend all your classes, or you won't do well in our upcoming exams."

Nobita observed Shizuka's expression and noticed that she was still a bit angry, but for a different reason. In fact, she had calmed down about yesterday's incident after he explained and apologized.

But since she was scolding him for his own mistake, he accepted it without protest.

"Yeah, you're right! That was very irresponsible of me."

After her anger finally subsided, Nobita asked her about yesterday's incident.

"By the way, what did my copy do yesterday? Why did you get so angry?"

Shizuka remembered the scene from yesterday, particularly when Nobita's copy kept calling her his wife. Her face turned bright red.

"Don't ask about that!" she shouted, her face still flushed.

"Okay, I won't ask, but as compensation..." Nobita thought for a moment and then said,

"As compensation, I invite you to go diving!" He smiled.

"Diving?" Shizuka's eyes lit up.

After all, she was still just a little girl. As soon as she heard that we were going to dive, all her anger dissipated in an instant.

The real summer was approaching, the time when trips to bodies of water were at their peak.

"I've never been diving before!" Shizuka said with excitement.

Nobita sighed in relief, glad that Shizuka was no longer angry—after all, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, even if that woman is just a little girl.

As Nobita was telling Shizuka about their diving trip, Gian overheard and intervened, acting as though he was the one invited. He became even more excited than Shizuka.

"Do you even know how to dive, Gian?"

Suneo mocked him, then immediately realized what he had said and became scared.

Gian, flustered with anger at Suneo's mockery, punched him hard on the head, clearly not liking the comment.

Even after being hit, Suneo smugly continued explaining, confident in his knowledge, since his family was rich and he had some experience in diving.

"First of all, diving requires professional equipment, respirators, and oxygen tanks. After entering the water, you have to withstand the pressure of the seawater. A lot of people can't handle it!"

Gian became jealous and irritated hearing Suneo's boasting and hit him again.

"Oh! You're hurting me, Gian! What did I do now?" Suneo asked tearfully.

"You're clearly mocking us," Gian snapped. "I even know how to swim, so how hard could diving be? But Nobita doesn't even know how to swim—how's he supposed to dive?"

Hearing their conversation, Nobita shook his head.

"I'll be fine! No need to worry about me," he told them, sighing and not wanting to explain further.

Although the old Nobita couldn't swim, the one who had transmigrated could.

"When did you learn to swim, Nobita?" Gian asked, surprised. He had seen Nobita almost drown in knee-deep water. Forget swimming—when did he even learn not to be afraid of it?

"Hmmm… a few days ago, I suddenly desperately wanted to learn swimming, so I just decided to do it!"

Speaking of which, he hadn't learned to swim easily in his previous life, and almost drowning a couple of times certainly didn't help. But after watching videos and getting some advice from his friends, he finally learned the correct techniques.

Nobita thought about it and, remembering his past accidents, couldn't help but laugh at his silly mistakes. However, after learning how to swim, he no longer feared water.

Gian gave him a deadpan look after hearing his answer. "That's it? How are you supposed to do that? And why did it take you so long to learn that?"

But as he looked at Nobita more closely, Gian noticed the subtle changes and realized that Nobita had drastically changed compared to his past self.

Shizuka smiled sweetly.

"Okay! Let's go diving after school together!"

'Together?' Nobita had originally planned to take only Shizuka and Miyoko with him. But… going with his friends didn't sound so bad, he realized.

However, when Nobita asked Miyoko if she wanted to join them, he got a negative response.

"Humph! I'm not going anywhere with you! Go by yourself!"

She hadn't forgotten what Nobita did yesterday.

Looking at Miyoko's reaction, it was almost identical to Shizuka's when she was angry with him earlier.

Nobita was confused. 'What is this?'

She didn't even give him the chance to explain properly and left immediately.

Alas… even his upgraded mind couldn't solve the mystery of women.

After school, everyone quickly gathered at Nobita's house with their belongings.

Shizuka brought a beautiful white one-piece swimsuit, which looked very pure.

Gian simply brought a pair of floral shorts.

Only Suneo seemed a bit more prepared, with oxygen cylinders, wetsuits, and fins all packed.
