Chapter 865 Calila's Last Dream_2

Talia filtered out the causes and effects of the dreamscape, and before she could catch her breath, she grew anxious again.

This immersive dream, even though she couldn't control her body, felt like a wedding with Lanci, and most importantly, they were playing the two protagonists, experiencing this Calila phantasmagoria's wedding ceremony.

The Fallen Wonderland allows people to see dreams impossible in reality, and when Calila wrote that letter, the phantasm seen because of the Wonderland might have been exactly the dream that Lanci and Talia are experiencing now.

"Perhaps, we've already started this movie, and even though we are aware it's a phantasmagoria, we can't leave, which probably means we have to watch it to the end to return to the Bulida Train compartment."

Lanci was sure this was truly a ninth-order magic power above him and Talia.

Thus, once triggered, it was like when he and Talia were in Huadu making cards, falling into Calila's slumber magic, unable to wake up easily.

While mentally communicating with Talia.

The figure of the emcee ascended the platform in the throne hall.

"Dear guests, welcome to the wedding site of the Black Sun Lord and the Fallen King, thank you all for waiting, our ceremony is about to begin."

Lord Raeming walked to the platform in front of the throne and proclaimed loudly.

Back then, the Black Sun Lord's bosom friend and Calila's faction's trusted General, the stalwart Thunder Lord Gareth Nokta today became the wedding's emcee.

Soon, the groom dressed in black approached the bride.

Calila's veil covered her long hair.

She held a bouquet of pure white hydrangeas, flawless and immaculate.

She gazed down tenderly, with a slight smile, her expression soft and serene.

Behind her, the pale blue sky was dotted with wisps of white clouds and petals.

The pale blue flowers swayed gently in the breeze, exuding a delicate and enchanting fragrance.

"Lanci, what should we do, are we really getting married?"

Talia portrayed Calila, her heart pounding wildly, she had never experienced anything like this, nor dared to imagine it.

On the train, she only briefly mentioned using marriage to settle debts, but she hadn't expected to experience the wedding process with Lanci in Calila's dreamscape immediately.

"Just treat it like watching a movie, only from the third perspective changed to the first perspective."

Lanci mentally replied, reassuring Talia's panicking emotions.

"Mmm... okay."

Talia tried to calm the ripples in her heart through breathing, but it was all in vain, her body seemed out of control.

Only by focusing on that familiar figure not far away could she truly settle down.

Whenever she panicked, Lanci would become exceptionally steady, making her feel a constant support.

Watching a movie, just with a different perspective...

She kept telling herself.

Talia's inner tension began to ease.

She took a deep breath, bracing herself for that crucial moment.

She moved forward.

The two figures finally stood at the center in front of the throne, gazing at each other.

"Dear bride and groom, today is one of the most important days of your lives; from now on, you will no longer be mere friends, allies, but will journey the road of life together as husband and wife. Marriage is a gift from the divine, a supreme covenant that signifies mutual love, support, navigating hard times together, and being in sync during peaceful moments."

Lord Raeming's voice brimmed with blessings, his tone gradually rising,

"'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.' Dear two, I hope you will reflect on this proverb, cover each other with love, and cherish your experiences."

Lord Raeming spoke earnestly.

His speech moved all the guests present.

The ceremony continued.

Before long, their friend True Night Sir, as the best man and officiant, was invited to speak a blessing.

Mist Sir Orion, who had been waiting, nervously adjusted his tie, took out a pre-prepared speech, and cleared his throat twice.

"First, I want to thank you for granting me the honor of serving as an officiant at this precious moment in your lives. We have been close friends for many years, and I've witnessed your entire journey of knowing each other."

Mist Sir Orion glanced at the Black Sun Lord and then at the Fallen Demon King,

"You appreciate and support each other, progressing together. Just as in the opera of the Demon Race: 'Hearts united, love entwined, pearl and silk, a match made in heaven.' I am convinced you are destined partners meant to walk hand in hand."

His blessings were offered.

"Now, let us welcome another esteemed officiant to the stage, also a friend of theirs and this wedding's bridesmaid, to offer their sincere blessings to this demonic couple..."

Emcee Raeming meticulously guided the ceremony along.

Time flew in the Nikaliss Demon King Palace.

Then it was time for the grand section.

"Calila, what is your perspective on the groom?"

Emcee Raeming faced the bride and inquired.

"He... always brings a smile to my face, speaking with warmth for all living beings. He has an affinity that easily endears him to the Demon Race, and though he rarely smiles, sometimes he will unexpectedly joke more childishly than imagined."
