Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 633: Towards the Middle Domain

Aria gave him a steady look and shook her head with a solemn expression. "Forsaken Wilds is one of the three forbidden regions in the entire world of Acaris, Max. Even Legend Rank experts—those with strength far beyond ours—have perished there just because they let their guard down for a single second. That place isn't a test. It's a graveyard."

She paused and let her words sink in before continuing. "And the Abyssal Stair... that isn't just a route. It's a battlefield, a proving ground for the Middle Domain's most terrifying young geniuses. Only Legend Rank experts or geniuses, you can say, under the age of fifty are allowed to step foot on that path. It's not about strength alone—it's about potential. Talent. Destiny."

Her voice was calm, but there was a flicker of memory in her eyes, as if she had once seen the consequences firsthand.

Max nodded slowly as her words sank in. He hadn't underestimated the world—he just hadn't seen the scale of it clearly until now.

Still, something about the Abyssal Stair sparked his curiosity. A battlefield of the chosen, where only those worthy of greatness could enter. A place like that was bound to have secrets, treasures, and trials that could push him even further.

But he let the thought fade for now. This wasn't the time. Not yet. First, the Middle Domain. Then everything else.

"Let's head to the headquarters of the Guardians then," Max said calmly, his eyes steady with resolve.

Aria nodded without another word and, to Max's surprise, she suddenly pulled out a sleek, boat-shaped machine from what seemed like thin air. It shimmered faintly, floating above the ground like it didn't quite belong in the mortal world.

"What is this?!" Max asked, blinking in shock, genuinely caught off guard like a village bumpkin seeing magic for the first time.

Aria chuckled at his expression, clearly amused. "This is what most people in the Middle Domain use to travel across long distances—it's called a Void Shuttle. There are different models and sizes, but mine's specially crafted for three or four people." She patted the sleek surface of the shuttle with a small grin. "Fast, stable, and stealth-capable. Perfect for slipping into places like the Guardian headquarters."

"Ohh..." Max nodded slowly, the gears in his mind turning with curiosity. The machine looked nothing like the flying vessels of the Lower Domain; this was elegant, efficient—Middle Domain technology through and through.

And since it was used to travel long distances by people from the Middle Domain who could fly countless times faster than the people from the Lower Domain, one could only imagine its speed.

"Alright, take your seats," Aria said, gesturing behind her to the cushioned seats arranged neatly behind her own.

Elias had already made himself comfortable, reclining with ease like this was just another ride.

Max paused for a second before turning to Elias with a raised brow. "You don't have one of these?" he asked, his tone innocent.

Elias's face turned a shade darker, clearly not thrilled with the question. "Hers is faster than mine," he grumbled, not meeting Max's eyes, his pride clearly taking a hit. He didn't dare admit hers was probably way faster.

Max let out a small chuckle, hiding his grin as he settled beside him. As the Void Shuttle began to hum softly and rise, Max gazed forward, a faint thrill in his chest—he was finally heading toward the Middle Domain.

As the Void Shuttle began to take flight, Max instinctively activated his Three Dimensional Body, letting his awareness ripple outward like a wave across the world.

He wanted to understand the path Aria had chosen—was she veering westward toward the great ranges of the Lost Continent, or weaving past the clouds above the Valora Continent? But to his growing confusion, Max realized something strange.

The shuttle wasn't veering at all. It wasn't turning or bending toward any region. It was going straight up—up into the sky, higher and higher, as though the very heavens were their destination.

The realization made Max pause, then stare out the shuttle window in silence. There was no landscape, no visible road, no sign of a curve. Just the sky—blurring past in streaks of white and gold as the void shuttle pierced through layer after layer of atmosphere like a needle through silk.

And then Max noticed something even more bizarre. He slowly moved his right hand, just to test if it was only his mind playing tricks on him. But what he saw made his breath catch in his throat—afterimages. His own hand had left a trail of afterimages inside the shuttle as if time itself had lagged behind. That shouldn't have been possible.

The Void Shuttle should have isolated them from external forces of speed or motion, yet here it was—his body reacting to a velocity that defied logic. His heart thumped harder in his chest as a rush of awe coursed through him. Just how fast were they going? It felt like they were breaking through the veil that separated domains—piercing not just space, but perhaps even dimensions.

Max couldn't help but murmur under his breath, "This is some serious speed we are talking about."

Soon, the Void Shuttle pierced into a dense layer of thick white clouds that blanketed the sky like a veil between worlds. The moment they entered, Max's Three Dimensional Body—the very sense that allowed him to perceive miles in all directions, even through barriers—was swallowed whole.

It was like his awareness had been muted, dulled, suppressed by something he couldn't identify. It wasn't just fog; it was something far more ancient and intentional, a mist laced with dimensional energy that bent perception itself.

Realizing this, Max didn't even bother to keep probing—he simply sat back, brows furrowed in curiosity.

They flew in eerie silence for several minutes, until the clouds suddenly parted—and what emerged from the endless white made Max's eyes widen in awe.

Floating amidst the skies was a colossal city, suspended in the air as if held aloft by invisible threads of divine energy. Towering spires, golden domes, glowing bridges made of light itself—all stretched across a vast platform that shimmered like it was forged from condensed clouds and star-metal.

Below the floating city, countless runes rotated like gears, keeping the city afloat with ancient magic and mechanisms no mortal realm could produce. Streams of translucent energy flowed through the city's foundation, humming with power.

Max could see wide streets, flying carriages, and shimmering guards clad in armor that reflected the sun's radiance like mirrors.

It wasn't just a city in the sky—it was a fortress of the heavens, a divine bastion carved into the clouds. This... was the headquarters of the Guardians. A place few from the Lower Domain would ever lay eyes on in their lifetime.
