Chapter 66: 66: A Slave's Duty
[Fubuki]: What's going on? Has the battle been decided?
[Kobayashi]: Hmm… Looks like Kizaru-san won…
[Random Guy Who Wants to Hug Luo Feng's Thigh]: What the hell?! What just happened? How did Lord Kizaru win? Esdeath's ultimate move can freeze time and space!
[Jotaro Kujo]: Kizaru-san has become a Stand user… And that ability just now… Was it The World?
[Orochimaru]: Heh, the ability to freeze time? Now that's unexpected.
[Ai Haibara]: Freezing time… The other worlds are way too dangerous!
[Random Guy Who Wants to Hug Luo Feng's Thigh]: Your world has no right to complain about danger!
[Ai Haibara]: Shut up! Or I'll put you in a locked room!
---
After defeating Esdeath, Kizaru still had time to glance at the chatroom messages.
"Oh, you mean that? That's just my awakened Stand ability~"
Kizaru spoke casually. Using his Stand to defeat Esdeath was simply the most convenient option.
If he had fully unleashed his Stand's Speed Force, Esdeath would have lost in an instant.
Of course, this wasn't because Esdeath was weak. Now that she had mastered Armament Haki, she definitely possessed combat strength on the level of an Admiral. It was just that Kizaru was too strong, making her seem a bit fragile in comparison.
---
[Random Guy Who Wants to Hug Luo Feng's Thigh]: Ughhh, I'm so jealous! I want a badass Stand too!
[Kobayashi]: Is this the Stand from JoJo that Random Guy uploaded earlier? Kizaru-san has one now too?
[Ai Haibara]: I'm suddenly curious about what his Stand looks like. If it can break through time-freezing abilities, don't tell me it's Za Warudo?
[Jotaro Kujo]: No, from the very start, Kizaru-san… Never mind.
[Fubuki]: Damn it! Don't leave us hanging like that!
[Jotaro Kujo]: Yare yare daze… Such a pain…
---
In the JoJo world, Jotaro, who had rarely interacted in the chatroom, had considered warning everyone that awakening a Stand wasn't without risk. With bad luck, it could even result in death.
But then he realized—unless he actively invited someone, they wouldn't be able to enter his world and obtain a Stand Arrow. So, there wasn't really a need for a warning, was there?
Well… mostly, he just didn't feel like explaining. It was too much trouble.
The only thing that concerned him was the two Stand Arrows Kizaru had taken. But Jotaro trusted that Kizaru wouldn't use them recklessly.
---
[Orochimaru]: @Kizaru, if it's not too much trouble, could you collect some tissue samples from that giant beast earlier?
[Kobayashi]: Oh yeah, I almost forgot! There was some huge creature that popped out of the ground, right?
[Fubuki]: That monster was at least disaster-level Tiger. But compared to those two monsters…
[Ai Haibara]: That police dog guy once said Kizaru ranks at least second place among S-Class heroes in your world, right? Are all S-Class heroes this strong?!
[Fubuki]: I'm not sure about that… I don't know much about Blast, the number one S-Class hero. And my sister definitely wouldn't stand a chance against these two monsters…
[Random Guy Who Wants to Hug Luo Feng's Thigh]: This is insane! Lord Kizaru is already so strong, and he's still getting even stronger?!
[Ai Haibara]: Idiot, have you never heard of the Matthew Effect? The strong get stronger, and the weak get weaker.
[Random Guy Who Wants to Hug Luo Feng's Thigh]: No clue. I barely got into college—I don't understand double PhD theories.
[Tony Stark]: Damn it! With current technology, there's no way to design an Iron Man suit that surpasses their power!
---
With the battle temporarily over, Kizaru waved at the chatroom viewers.
"Well, that's it for now. Gotta go. We'll chat later."
Since what was about to happen next wasn't exactly child-friendly, he ended the livestream.
Ai Haibara was literally a kid, so "not suitable for children" seemed like a fair reason.
---
Kizaru walked over to Esdeath, looking down at her battered form. His Stand's abilities grew alongside him, and with The Flash's current power, it could destroy Jotaro's Star Platinum in a single punch.
Though he hadn't used his full strength, Esdeath had still taken a devastating hit.
Suddenly, Esdeath sat up in the massive trench left by the impact, shaking her head to clear her thoughts. Then, without hesitation, she straightened up and stood tall—completely unconcerned about her tattered uniform barely covering her body.
"You win. From now on, I'm your slave."
Her voice was lighthearted, as if she didn't care about the consequences of her declaration.
Kizaru blinked in disbelief. "Are you serious? That whole bet was just a joke. I don't make a habit of turning people into slaves."
Sure, he wasn't exactly a saint, but he wasn't low enough to start keeping slaves.
If he was that kind of person, Hancock would never have fallen for him.
---
"No, a deal's a deal. I'm your slave now," Esdeath insisted. "But once I'm strong enough, I'll challenge you again… After all, it's normal for slaves to rebel against their masters, isn't it?"
Rather than looking discouraged by her defeat, her eyes burned with an even sharper fighting spirit. The battle had only fueled her excitement.
What the hell?!
Kizaru's expression twitched.
Pink-haired girls were already known for being crazy, but apparently blue-haired ones weren't any better.
This woman was clearly using the situation as an excuse to stick around! She claimed to be his "slave," but in reality, she was just setting herself up to challenge him over and over again.
And the worst part? This deal was completely one-sided!
Kizaru had always been the one taking advantage of others, but now he was the one being exploited!
Esdeath continued, "Even though I'll keep challenging you, until then, you can make me do anything a slave should do. I can fight for you, defeat your enemies, earn you honor and money in the arena… or even hunt dangerous beasts for you…"
She hesitated slightly, clearly aware of how shameless she sounded.
But the chance to have a powerful rival was too good to pass up—so she didn't care.
There was no way she was backing down now.
Kizaru sighed, rubbing his temples. "Fine, if that's how you want it, I won't stop you. But you did forget one important duty of a slave…"
Before Esdeath could process his words, Kizaru stepped forward, cupped her face in his hands, and kissed her.
---
Time passed.
As the ice storms finally settled and the battlefield quieted, Esdeath's Three Beasts cautiously returned, having retreated to the northern fortress earlier.
They found their commander standing there, disheveled but alive.
"Lady Esdeath, are you alright?"
Liver, the leader of the Three Beasts, spoke carefully.
