Chapter 174: DDDS: Chapter 174
Yumi stuck her tongue out at Zenitsu and made a face, clearly intending to annoy him.
She knew his intentions—to take advantage of the situation.
If he hadn't spoken so inappropriately earlier, she wouldn't be treating him this way.
Ryuji approached Zenitsu, clapping him heavily on the shoulder, teasing, "Zenitsu, that's practically harassment, isn't it? Nezuko hasn't changed you at all! Still as fickle as ever!"
"Ryuji-senpai, don't slander me! I just wanted Yumi-san to apply the medicine. I'm injured! Two broken ribs! The doctor said I shouldn't make large movements, so Yumi-san has to help!" Zenitsu tried to justify himself.
Ryuji knew Zenitsu's intentions weren't so pure.
"Don't you see she's unwilling? Since I'm in a good mood, I'll apply it for you," Ryuji offered, intending to use Zenitsu as a test subject to see if his technique worked on a third party. Otherwise, why would he bother?
Zenitsu, realizing this ruined his plan, awkwardly refused, "Ryuji-senpai, how can I trouble you with this? Let Yumi-san do it! This isn't something a master like you should do!"
Yumi retorted coldly, "Lecher!"
"Enough! I know what you're up to! If you cooperate, I might get Nezuko to give you a massage!" Ryuji pulled Zenitsu aside, removed his shirt, tripped him, and almost sent him sprawling onto the tatami mat.
However, Ryuji caught him by his belt before he fell.
He released the belt and took the liniment.
Hearing Ryuji's last sentence, Zenitsu stopped resisting, excitedly asking, "Ryuji-senpai, is that true? Will Nezuko really give me a massage?"
"I can try to arrange it," Ryuji replied.
He opened the liniment, applied it to Zenitsu's bruised back, and used Wood Breathing, focusing the wood-based energy into his palms. He pressed his hands against Zenitsu's back.
The moment his hands touched, Zenitsu's expression changed, sighing contentedly, "Ahh~ Ohh~ So comfortable~"
