901  The Gods Are Winning?

Castor watched this, and one of his eyes twitched a bit in sheer anger. He could not believe the level of disrespect that he was experiencing from mortals he considered to be nothing more than over grown ants.

"Huh!?" Loki raised a brow at this, "Interesting!" he commented. However, Castor could not take it again, "You little bastards! How dare you show disrespect in front god!" his anger exploded all around him in a bright display of his golden energy. It radiated so brightly, that from earth, those that gazed into the sky thought that it was another sun.  A golden chain appeared in his rams as he rushed forth for those sitting. On seeing this chain, Loki frowned tightly, "That's the Lasso of Pain!"

"You know of it?" Despair asked. Loki nodded, "a touch of it is like having the sun explode in each cell of the body. The pain it presents gives one the impression that they are melting from the inside out. It is said that even castor, wielding it, is not exempted from its torment."

"Oh!" Despair frowned at the explanation.

However, Green Lightning obstructed Castor's path as Perseus suddenly appeared before him, "I'll be your opponent." *Boom!* BOOM!* BOOM!* His lightning attacked again and again. And Castor was forced to defend with his golden chain, The lasso of pain.

Both brothers stood side by side. Each looked to the other. They could already see and feel their battle intent from one another. This was going to be battle that they were most confident of wining. After all, their opponents were below their power level. Castor raised his hand to the army behind him, "Kill them all!" he ordered. The army screamed war cries as they rushed forth. Loki snickered a bit, "these mortals are too cocky. They are finished!"

However, what happened next left him tongue tied. Insect-B gave the womb by her side two pats and all of a sudden, it developed a mouth that opened up to reveal rows and rows of teeth that spiraled downwards into the darkness that was its throat.

There was a sudden buzzing noise and then there was a rush of creatures that came from the mouth. These were all bugs. As one would expect, they rushed for the army. A clash ensured. It was a god army versus a chimera army. The god castor frowned. However, he chuckled. "Do you think mere insects are enough to bring down a god army? Even a plague will not save you from us."

"A plague? No!" Insect-B shook her head, "I am THE PLAGUE!" An insect suddenly removed the head of one within the army, chunking it into its mouth and swallowing it. "Impossible!" castor muttered. "We are gods. Our Power is by faith. Mortal weapons cannot..." however, he was forced to shut up the moment he observed closely. These insects did not have normal Mandibles. It was all laced with Holy power. Lenny observed the battle closely. According to the Satan System, gods used a form of holy power. Or rather a deviation of it. It was called the power of Faith. This was the power that formed their origins and gave them the incredible strength that they possessed.

According to the Satan system, gods also needed a constant supply of faith to survive. And their major source of this faith came from mortal creatures. To be more specific, it came from humans.

According to what Lenny could remember of his previous world, they were a lot of gods worshipped by humans. However, these gods had not come to help humans when they had trouble with demons and devils. Instead, they had stayed away. And now that the invaders were gone, they had come to take from him because he was a human. Lenny could instantly tell the problem with these gods. they were obviously desperate for worship and invaded the first chance that they got. They wanted to replace the devils and become the new leaders of earth. Insect-B's creatures would not have been a formidable march for these gods. But unfortunately for them, L enny had given an upgrade with his blood even before he left for Judas. All Insects produced by insect-B had Holy Power. Castor suddenly waved his chains, in the air, and over a hundred chimera ants caught by the attack were instantly turned to dust.

He waved it again. However, Perseus rushed forward, catching it with a hand, "I told you before. I am your..." *Bump!* Bump!* Bump!*

Perseus found himself falling to his knees as he coughed up a mouth full of blood. Castor chuckled, "You Insolent fool! Do you think that my Lasso of pain is a weapon you weak willed mortal can touch? You have sealed your own death!" castor willed with the lasso of pain and it wrapped around Perseus's body.

Perseus coughed up some more blood as his eyes instantly became red. His veins visible appeared on his skin like the roots of a tree. His body spasmed as his fingers shook ceaselessly. Victor watching this frowned and wanted to move, but father black raised a finger, "don't! I do not believe that Perseus cannot handle himself." This was surprisingly the same thing that Lenny thought as he watched the battle. After all, Perseus was still one that was formerly a gladiator. Was the lasso of pain really capable of destroying a man that has only known pain for the most of his life?

Meanwhile, Crusher engaged in a barrage of punches with Polydeus. To Lenny, it was like watching one of those boxing matches between two unbeatable heavy weight champions. If it was on earth, every punch between these two would have flattened a mountain.

They exchanged punches each hitting the other on the face like angry bullies. every hit sent shockwaves that could even be felt back on earth. Crusher's punches made their mark. However, he was the only one that bleed. Polydeus on the other hand remained with a smile as he enjoyed beating Crusher silly...
