NOVEL WEB Chapter 9: Japanese Ambition
Uproar erupted across the World as they realized that Russia acquired Manchuria from Qing. This is bad news for everyone and makes them unhappy as the resources and population of Manchuria is enormous to the point that is increased Russias standing in the International stage.
From Washington to Berlin the Leaders had decisions among their governments what to do with this news. Britain especially didn't like this news at all as they don't want to see Russia who is the world's largest contiguous landmass nation become even larger.
But one nation in particular hated it more than the British, the Empire of Japan.
They are exploding in anger as they start to make plans to subvert Russia and gain Manchuria for themselves.

Anastasia is in her office at the Imperial Inc. HQ in Moscow as she is looking at the reports of the excellent work of her employees in Manchuria. With the Military establishing martial law on Manchuria they began to quickly stamp out all and any criminal gangs and those who refuse Russian rule.
It wasn't much of an trouble as the natives had no real unity to resist.
As she was thinking of a new expansion in Vladivostok a knock came from the door.
"Enter."

"Your Highness the Emporer requests your audience."
Father wants to see me? Interesting."Lead the way."
Later in in St.Petersburg
"Father you called for me." Nicolas looked at his daughter. She has grown up to be so bright and brilliant even at 14 years old. He sighed. "Yes, Anastasia I called for you to share news." He hands over a paper to Anastasia as she reads its contents.
Her eyes narrowed "The Empire of Japan declared war?"
"Yes, that they have. It seems our purchase of Manchuria stung them to the point of declaring war." Nicolas was tired just from learning of this news as the took the paper back.
"Father please let me lead pur troops in this conflict." Anastasia was confident that she can lead the brave men of the army to win this war against the petty Japanese.
"Anastasia this is a serious matter. War in no game even with your achievements you don't have any experience to lead a army let's not mention that your still 14."
Nicolas knew of his daughters works as she improved Russias living standards and uplifted the Nation with her reforms that made the people to praise her the Crown Princess. The Church wouldn't stop their devotion calling her a "Living Saint" and how she's destined to lead Russia to glory in the name of The Lord.
"Dad, I'm confident that I can not only lead but also win this war." Nicolas saw her eyes. There was no hint of doubt in her. There was also a faint shine from here eyes but he ignored that and blamed his tiredness.
"Fine, but you have to keep distance from the fighting and lead from the back, understood?"
Anastasia was ecstatic as she agreed to his terms and made herself to the Minister of Defense to inform him of her new duties.
The Minister was not pleased but a few words was all that was needed from her to convince him otherwise much to the confusion of the Ministers from other Ministry's.
And so Anastasia along side with the Imperial Army made across the Trans-Siberian Railway to Vladivostok from which she will lead her new army to defend her country and newly acquired territory.
The Japanese who already had control of Korea sent out their army's to the new Russian border.
And so the Russo-Japanese War began.
