'Just now' Ralph replied Kyan, showcasing his newly discovered powers.

'Ralph, can't you see me?' Amelia called out in her human form.

Looking down upon her, Ralph burst into laughter, pointing fervently at Amelia.

'Is this how all water spirits are?' he asked, still laughing loudly.

Kyan wasn't the only one to notice the strange question, because they all remembered vividly that Ralph was also a

Nymph.

'Aren't you a Nymph?' Kyan asked with a suspicious look.

'Of course, I am, but, I did not undergo all of this cause, in our own land, we...

'Enough Ralph! We need to be somewhere now, and if we don't get there in time, we won't be able to achieve success' Granny said to Ralph, hoping to stop the impending chaos.

Kyan did watch as Ralph and his granny disappeared but... He held onto Ralph's last words, there was something different about Ralph and it felt as if granny was also hiding something.

'Did you notice...

'Yes, Kyan, I noticed Ralph's behavior and Granny's too, ugh, what in the world is going on and what land was he talking about?' Amelia asked with a tensed tone.

'We will just have to figure it out as soon as possible'

'And maybe there won't be any boring classes for me in your boring world' Amelia said with a lot of hope.

Kyan could only smile as he wandered off into an entirely different land.

The heavy footsteps made Kyan wake from his slumber, but... He wasn't at the right place.

He was at the bank of a river which had beautiful green plants and colorful flowers as its company, the river was linked to a waterfall that was beautifully designed by some green plants that had not withered.

Unable to express his appreciation to nature, he heard the sounds of footsteps again and he trembled in fear of the unknown.

In a flash, the ugly monster stood in front of the young boy, filling the entire environment with a stench.

'You stink, who are you?' Kyan asked, trying to breath in a morning reliable oxygen that didn't come from the monster's body.

But instead of a roar or a reply, he watched the monster disappear with a smile and slowly, everything disappeared, taking him back to where he belonged, at least where he thought he belonged.

He watched as the Nymphs,Dryads, Sylphs, Salamanders, Gnomes from the depths, took over the air, water, land and even the trees, but that wasn't all, he saw the terrifying scenerio of his grandmother's death, and then the horrifying faces of humans as they ran for safety, he heard different sounds and roars as the bloodbath continued.

For a ten year old kid, it was a terrible nightmare.

'That's just the beginning Kyan, you are yet to witness a lot more' the voice whispered to his ear, waking him from his horrible slumber.

'Hello Kyan, we are the three Demi- gods of Amalton' Matzubri introduced, he was the God that controlled thunder, storms, rain and any related activities from the clouds and waters.

Expecting a reply from Kyan, they paused the introduction but, Kyan stared blankly at them.

Matzubri reached for his shoulders and patted him twice, he understood that he was yet to regain consciousness from the shock.

'As we were saying, before you interrupted with a blank look, I am Matzubri, and they are Amaltob and Munni' Matzubri introduced with a smile.

'W-w-why are y-you here?' Kyan shuttered in fear.

'You've got to calm down Kyan' Amaltob said.

'We are here to pay our respect' Munni said.

'W-w-what are you talking about?' Kyan asked In fear and confusion.

Without reply, the three gods bowed and there was an unfamiliar disturbance in the environment as the wind blew more faster and the lights went off and on.

'Pl-please g-g-get up!' Kyan yelled in fear.

Slowly, the three gods rose to their feet and a smile grew on their face.

'Only one shall be superior, and only one shall rule' Matzubri said with a smile.

'W-what d-d-don't y-you mean by that?' Kyan asked with intensity in his curiosity.

'You are yet to understand despite knowing, once it is time Kyan, we will be back.

To be your guardian and help, Bathsuk needs to be put in place' Their voice echoed as they dispersed.

Kyan trembled till he wet his pants, since childhood, he had hated scary movies and he has always disliked the titles of those movies and its casts.

But now, he was going to be a cast in a horror movies that had no script, it would be a game of choice and luck. How was he, a young harmless boy going to face a ruthless monster that has ruled for many centuries.

'Bathsuk has truly lost it, he could have wiped the entire world before I came into existence, why does he always have to be so foolish' Kyan said with gritted teeth as he clenched his fist.

Shaking his head indignantly, he concluded.

'I am just Paul Talen's son, I know of no Bathsuk and his blood definitely doesn't run through my veins'

'You would have died if that was the truth' Amelia, who had been observing the entire scenery finally said.

'What do you mean by that, huh? Infact, what do you know?' Kyan confronted.

'I know a lot more than you can ever do' Amelia replied.

'But...

'You are his son Kyan, it's undeniable, you are the hope of the world' Amelia assured.

'No! This, all of this is just another nightmare, do you think that I can help the world, I have never completed a task on my own before and you expect me to help the world so Bathsuk won't complete his assignment?'

Amelia nodded with a smile but Kyan responded with a frown.

'I won't be part of any of this, Amelia, I won't' Kyan said indignantly.

'Unfortunately, you can't be part of what you already are' Amelia assured, this time, Kyan has to admit, just to end the conversation.

'I am off to bed' Kyan said as he walked to his room.

'Sleep tight' Amelia muttered.

'Hmm'

He walked into his room, but he didn't know that he had more to do than he could have ever wished for.
