Chapter 70: Chapter 70: A Fae, a mutt and an annoying spell + an old tale
Raven let a small cackle out as he held a giant cannon.
"Prototype Unit, S-P-R, Model 001, beginning test." Raven declared as he tossed on a pair of shades. He was sitting on the edge of Hades castle, Aria was perched on a part of the castle, Persephone was cheerfully watching in the corner.
Hades was stuck in some meeting. Melinoe, Hades and Persephone's daughter was here in his place. She was also cheerfully watching.
"Firing in 3, 2, 1… NOW!" Raven declared as he fired the giant cannon which shot of plasma out of it towards the fields of punishment. Screams were heard.
"Bullseye!" The three cheered, Raven vanished his cannon as the three hugged and cheered. Persephone slowly tried to move a pen and paper subtly towards Raven, Melinoe took her fathers place and held her mother back.
Raven went wide eye as he saw Hades starting to form in shadows and quickly formed a portal and got the hell out of there with a quiet ominous cackle.
He faintly heard the annoyed yell of Hades as the portal closed.
"STOP DESTROYING MY UNDERWORLD!"
He'd be back next week to do it again, but he'd bring some good pizza as an apology.

Raven walked around Hogwarts with his mystic eye killer glasses on and rubbing his head. Super charging your mystic eyes and trying to understand a soul was not a good idea, now he knew three new, and admittedly interesting, sex positions, he also knew everything about a grown man.
Ew.
However the one single bonus was that he did understand the soul just a bit better. His false souls came out a bit better now. They lasted a little longer and seemed to be, if his slightly blurry soul vision wasn't wrong, denser. Not by much, but still denser. He'd check again when his head wasn't pounding.
"Woof!" Raven stopped as he saw a dirty dog whining nearby and walked closer, he didn't feel any harmful intentions from it, plus it wasn't like it could properly hurt him.
"Oh man, your fur it's all matted and dirty." Raven mumbled as he softly ran his hand through the fur, there was a small measure of resistance from the dogs magic as he used a basic spell to heal and clean the damaged hair up, but he shrugged it off as having magical creature ancestory.
"Here, have some food." Raven created a bowl and made some cooked chicken appear inside it. He kept filling it till the dog was full.
"Who's a good boy, you are aren't you." Raven said with a baby voice as he rubbed their now full stomach as the dog panted happily.
Raven heard quiet laughing and immediately spun around to see a few younger years. They froze as their eyes locked.
"Two options, detention tonight, or I wipe your memories." Raven declared seriously, and the students said detention and ran off.
He nodded pleased as the geass he forced onto them by overpowering their magic and forcing it to accept, he couldn't have anyone remember him like that.
"You'll stay quiet about that, won't you boy? After all, it would be a shame if you lost your testicles." Raven let a sinister smile out as the dog paled and shook its head.
"Good boy, now run off and bite your owner in the ass or something." Raven declared as the dog quickly ran off.

"What's all the commotion?" Raven asked confused as he hopped up to a railing edge as he noticed a bunch of students in front of the Gryffindor common room entrance.
"Sirius Black was here! Oh I can remember his beady silver eyes filled with evil staring at me as he slashed my painting up!" The usual screaming painting said with trauma and horror from a far different painting. A knight was holding her.
"That's the serial killer dude right? A death eater or whatever, right hand of the dark wanker?" Raven asked one of the students who dumbly nodded.
With a nod, Raven tracked the magical signature he could see lingering around and familiarized himself with it and walked off, by hopping down the railings and going down a couple floors.
He then began a trail of walking through the castle idly following the trail of magic energy residue. If he had to compare it to something, it was sorta like following fresh blood drops. The man had to have been actively using a spell for this kind of trail.
Raven eventually reached outside, in the distance he could see the dementors floating around, he stayed away from them, but he did make a mental note to learn the Patronus spell sooner then later.
Eventually following the trail led him to the edge of the forbidden forest, and a swarm of dementors, he made a decision to back off then, Black had clearly been using the forest to escape and thus must have a way to deal with the dementors.
"Round 1 to you Black." Raven said with a small smile, if felt like an actual challange to deal with this. He could have probably done something to disperse the dementors and follow Black, but he found this amusing.
With a hum, he turned around and left to go study on the Patronus spell.

"Well shit." He mumbled as he finished reading about the spell entirely. A spell powered by happy memories and emotions, he didn't have a lot of those…
Now if the spell was powered by trauma and negative emotions? He'd be set, but he's not.
"Guess I can try." Raven mumbled as he focused his mind and thought on the happy thoughts in his life.
"Expecto Patronum." He pronounced clearly while thinking on the freedom, the happiness, of escaping the orphanage.
His wand shook for a moment and spat out a few dots of white energy.
"Ok, definitely not enough." He mused and thought of a new memory. Of the time he met Lorelei and the happiness that brought him in their relationship.
The wand had a small puff of smoke released.
Next he tired thinking of all the happy memories of the twins. The fun they had, the happiness they brought him as his bestfriends.
A small steady mist formed, almost like a shield.
A memory of a blonde haired woman with green eyes appeared in his head. The loving look she sent a baby with blonde hair and blue eyes, fresh in his head. The same woman in a mirror smiling as an older him yapped away and away about anything and everything.
Something seemed to be taking shape, but then fizzled out of existence.
Raven sighed, he felt he was missing something to complete the spell, but he didn't know what.
So with a sigh, the magician decided to do some work on Project Damocles. He'd try again with other memories later. He felt mentally exhausted right now.

In an unknown time and place, reality itself seemed to constantly keep changing. Never staying the exact same.
One moment it was a lush forest, the next a dead snowing mountain top.
However in all that, two beings stood in a locked clash.
One blue eyed warrior held a spear in hand, his eyes narrowed at their opponent, for a moment his eyes flashed golden. A frown marked the man's face.
The other a purple eyed warrior holding a spear as well, his eyes momentarily flashing red before returning to purple. A smirk covered the purple eyed man's face, a short cackle left his mouth.
"It is inevitable brother, I will win. Surrender and make it easy for you." The blue eyed warrior said, tone mostly monotone, but a hint of pleading was present in there.
"To surrender to that fool of a being who calls himself our father? You should know by now, I will never surrender to such a being brother, it doesn't love us, it doesn't love you, and it never will." The purple eyed warrior snarled out and the the blue eyed one sighed, but not in pity, but in sadness.
"Then I'm sorry for what I must do brother." The blue eyed warrior replied as he landed a hard kick to the chest of his opponent.
"Me as well brother, I never wanted it to come to this." The purple eyed one said with regret, but no sign of hesitation as they ran forward with their spear pointed forward.
Standing untouched amongst the changing reality besides the two combatants, was an eclipse.

Raven opened his eyes and blinked, that had been a weird dream.
"Dreams are weird." Raven muttered as he got up from his nap and stretched like a cat before moving to get his night started, he had some runes to carve.

Yo ho! The ending of the chapter is about, I hope you enjoyed it. I know it was kinda short, but after seven times rewriting it, I felt this was appropriate for conveying what I wanted here. About our dear Raven and the future of the story.
Until next time friends! I gotta go to sleep now, the DMV awaits me in the morning, pray for me, I'll have needed it to deal with the wait times and the stuff that is the DMV.
Bye~
