The machine gun and the rocket launcher fired simultaneously.

The snake's heads jerked back, but lacking sustained firepower, the two-headed snake only roared and charged again towards Twist and Ennis.

Facing the gaping maws of the snake,

The two men looked at each other.

No words were exchanged.

The next moment, both heads of the snake devoured Twist and Ennis.
