DC: My Name Is Not Billy Batson

Chapter 2: My new job

"Not bad; now you have the power of the gods," the ancient wizard intoned, his voice carrying the weight of centuries.

'Solomon's wisdom (S), Hercules's strength (H), Atlas's stamina (A), Zeus's divine power (Z), Achilles's courage (A), and Mercury's speed (M)!

From now on, you must shoulder the responsibility that 'Shazam' should bear!" The wizard's eyes, brimming with ancient knowledge, fixed on the chosen one.

"The Rock of Eternity is the holy place of all magic, and it must not be lost. I leave it to you.

Remember, the power of magic comes from within the heart..."

However, the moment the wizard uttered those words, his face crumbled like sand, disintegrating into a pile before Dain's eyes.

"Ah, why didn't the wizard council provide new employee training? Straight to the job?" Dain was perplexed by the sudden turn of events. The wizard, by all accounts, should have had a few more years left. Wasn't he supposed to play a role in Shazam 2?

"Dain, Dain, come over here!"

Alone, Dain heard whispers surrounding him, prompting him to turn his head and lock eyes with the red gaze of the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man, also known as the Seven Deadly Sins; each voice was distinctly audible.

"Seven deadly sins..."

"Yes, it's us. Come on, tell us your desires, and we can help you achieve them."

"Whether it's money,"

"Or women,"

"Or strength!"

"As long as you have any requests, we will respond. Accept us!"

"Even the gods cannot restrain their desires."

"Don't be shy, child; quickly tell us your desires and tell us what you want..."

An arc of lightning danced in his eyes as Zeus's divine power enveloped him.

"Wait, what are you doing?"

Raising his head with a confident smile, Dain lifted his fingertips, and a lightning bolt struck the pupil at the center of the statue.

"Ah--!"

"No--! Stop it!"

"Damn bastard, ah--!"

Their eyes served as the medium for the Seven Deadly Sins, connecting their spiritual bodies, and the divine power bombardment was like electrocution, causing them immense pain. After punishing the Seven Deadly Sins, Dain felt refreshed.

"As a promising new god, what do I need you seven rotten potatoes for?" he declared, dismissing the once tempting offers of the malevolent demons.

Shazam possessed a divine body, divine power, divine artifacts, and divine knowledge, seamlessly aligning with the phantom of the Greek gods.

In this new era, as the old gods faded away and Wonder Woman remained absent, Dain asserted that being the sole god presented no issue.

How could he be bothered by the Seven Deadly Sins, akin to dealing with a repugnant pile of dog excrement?

Furthermore, the entire Rock of Eternity now belonged to him. If he wished to command stone statues for something, would they accept his order?

Dain opened his palm, and the wizard's wand gracefully soared into his hand. With the wizard's disappearance, the wand's ownership seamlessly transferred to him.

Upon gaining the wand, Dain also assumed control over the entire Rock of Eternity.

His immediate task was to alter the door lock password. From now on, entry without his explicit permission will be prohibited. Even for Baldy.
