DBZ Goten : Become Stronger By Defeating Your Opponent

Elec's expression froze in disbelief as he witnessed Frieza's transformation. The overwhelming aura emanating from the tyrant sent chills down his spine. Before Elec could react, Frieza vanished, reappearing in front of Gas with lightning speed.

BAM!

Frieza's fist drove into Gas's abdomen with devastating force. Gas let out an ear-splitting scream as his body was hurled thousands of meters away, crashing into the rocky terrain.

"Gas!" Oil and Maki shouted in unison, their faces pale with shock. They watched helplessly as their strongest brother lay beaten, realizing how hopeless their situation had become.

Gas struggled to his feet, his body trembling. Elec's voice rang out urgently.

"Gas! Don't give up!"

"Ahhh!!!" Gas roared, summoning all his remaining strength. His Ki exploded outward, engulfing the area in a fiery storm of energy. However, his transformation came at a cost. His once-youthful features aged rapidly, his face becoming wrinkled and haggard.

Frieza tilted his head, his lips curling into a mocking smile. "Interesting. You're burning through your life force for power? Let's see how far that gets you."

Gas surged forward, his speed blinding, his desperation driving him to attack with everything he had. Frieza met his charge head-on, the two clashing with a fury that shook the ground beneath them. Each strike from Gas was powerful but reckless, his stamina draining with every move.

"Ugh...!" Gas coughed up blood as his body weakened further. His punches slowed, his movements faltered, and the once-mighty warrior was reduced to a shadow of himself.

Frieza seized the opportunity, delivering a devastating blow that pierced Gas's chest.

Bang!!!

Gas screamed in agony before collapsing to the ground, his lifeless body sprawled in the dirt.

"Gas!" Elec's voice cracked as he watched his brother's demise. Oil and Maki trembled, their fear mounting as Frieza turned his attention to them.

Frieza smirked, his golden form radiating menace. "What a waste. I expected more from the so-called second-strongest in the universe." His eyes narrowed as they fell on Elec. "Now, let's deal with you."

A purple beam shot from Frieza's finger, piercing Elec's chest with precision. The leader of the Heeter clan crumpled to the ground without a sound.

Oil and Maki were frozen in terror, their faces pale. Frieza's gaze fell on them, his tone dripping with malice. "So, will you two join my army, or shall I end this here?"

Maki quickly bowed her head. "W-we'll join your army!"

Frieza chuckled, his sinister grin widening. "Wise choice."

Earth

With the threat gone, Goten stood with Granola and Monaito. Monaito handed him a small device, its design unmistakably Saiyan.

"What's this?" Goten asked, examining the object.

"This is a combat power detector left behind by Bardock—the Saiyan who saved us long ago," Monaito explained.

"Bardock?" Goten repeated, intrigued.

"Yes. You resemble him. It's possible you're one of his descendants. This device contains a recording of his voice," Monaito said, her tone filled with nostalgia.

"A recording?"

Monaito nodded. "Your father is a Saiyan, isn't he?"

"Yeah, his name's Goku," Goten replied.

"Goku... That doesn't sound like a Saiyan name."

"His Saiyan name is Kakarot," Goten clarified.

"Kakarot..." Monaito murmured thoughtfully.

Granola and Monaito soon bid farewell to Goten and the others, departing Earth to pursue their own paths.

Universe 7, Destruction Realm

Whis observed the events from afar, sensing the fading energy of the battle.

"It seems things have settled," he said, his serene tone unwavering.

One Week Later

Goku and Vegeta returned to Earth after their training. Goten handed the combat power detector to his father.

"Goten, this is a combat power detector, isn't it?" Goku asked.

"Yeah, Dad. It's from a Namekian I met," Goten replied.

Goten recounted the story of Bardock, leaving Goku and Vegeta deep in thought.

"Bardock... That's your father, Kakarot," Vegeta said, crossing his arms.

"My father?" Goku tilted his head in surprise.

"You don't even know your father's name?" Vegeta scoffed.

Goku scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "I hit my head when I was a kid, so I forgot a lot of things."

Whis chuckled at the admission. "It's fortunate you did. Otherwise, you might not have become the warrior you are today."

Vegeta remained silent, reflecting on how fate had shaped their paths.

"Kakarot, why not listen to the recording in the combat power detector?" Vegeta suggested.

Goku nodded, his curiosity piqued.

One Year Later

Time flew by, and Goten had grown significantly. At fifteen, he stood 1.6 meters tall, his features more mature, shedding the image of a child.

In the skies above Mount Paozu, Goten trained relentlessly, pushing his limits. He sought to surpass even Whis, but his progress was slow. Achieving the full power of Super Saiyan 6 seemed like a distant goal.

As Goten meditated mid-air, a familiar voice called out to him.

"Goten!"

Opening his eyes, Goten saw Trunks descending from the sky.

"Trunks! What brings you here?" Goten asked.

Trunks grinned. "You've been doing nothing but training for the past year. Don't you ever take a break?"

"I don't have much time left before I have to focus on studying," Goten replied. "I need to make the most of it."

Trunks sighed. "You've already surpassed the God of Destruction, and now you're aiming to surpass Whis?"

"Why not?" Goten replied confidently.

Trunks shook his head. "No matter how hard I try, I can't keep up with you. You're a total cheat."

"So, why are you here today?" Goten asked.

"I have an idea," Trunks said, his grin widening. "Let's form a hero team!"

"A hero team?"

"Yeah! Your brother Gohan formed a team with Videl, right? Let's create our own!"
